great hotel, great location
You cannot beat the location - it is walking distance to everything and right next to the Oregon Symphony and there are so many restaurants and cafes and shopping places right there, plus easy walking to the riverfront. The rooms are clean and big and the dining is superb.

Nicely renovate hotel but unfortunately very unfriendly receptionist
Very well-located hotel in the center of Portland. Nicely renovated hotel with a very stylish lobby. At the check-in very friendly staff. Unfortunately at the checkout very arrogant and unfriendly receptionist, was a very unpleasant experience. He seemed to be annoyed by every question I was asking. The hotel has bikes to rent for free, first-come first-served, a very good experience to discover Portland by bike.

Excellent Hotel in Downtown Portland
I stayed at the Heathman for two nights and was pleased with the experience; the staff were kind, the hotel was very clean and conveniently located. Very reasonable and next to the iconic Portland Theatre!

Stay for a wedding
The vibe at the Heathman is great! Service and food are excellent. The staff were helpful while we were preparing for our sons wedding which meant so much!
