Liars and odors
We got charged for smoking fee and never smoked in that room. They can just smell something and have no proof at all. Money grab? Unfair? Liars? We had to throw our joints away because of old TSA at PDX. The Nines found them in the trash and said there was an odor and popped us with a $500 fine. They say they had to take the room off the market for a night, which I think is complete and utter lie. Prove it. Maybe Portland should worry about all the fentanyl going on in the streets and stop worrying about weed in hotel trash cans.

Fantastic hotel in downtown Portland
We could not have had a better experience at the Nines! Juan at the front desk checked us in and was able to upgrade us to an amazing corner suite on the 12th floor. He was extremely personable and so pleasant to talk with. We were in Portland shopping for dresses for my son’s wedding and the women at the concierge desk gave us wonderful advice on where to shop. We had a fantastic time and everything from check in to check out was top notch. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent staff made our stay extra special!
The staff were super key for making our experience extra special! They helped us whenever any issues came up and were extremely professional and just took care of the small things that made our stay feel seamless. The rooms were clean and well stocked with amenities and the hotel and restaurant had excellent food and drinks as well. Staff throughout the hotel were exceptional and wouldn’t trade them for the world and really help create the hotel.

Good service with friendly people
Really enjoyed my stay at The Nines. The bed was cozy and comes with a good restaurant, Mackenzie was helpful and friendly. On top of that, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. Their excellent service and attention to detail made a big difference. Lastly juan at the desk was very nice and help me to get nice room. Would happily back because of the good location and amazing service!
