A atellar staycation
I've known about The Nines for a very long time, situated as they are right in the heart of downtown Portland and host to posterchild Portland steakhouse Urban Farmer. This was my first time staying there however, and my wife and I were delighted to find thoughtfully-designed, immaculately-exectued rooms with just the right touch of boutique decor. The beds were cozy, the bathroom was spacious, the large TV accepted my HDMI input without complaint, and the fridge minibar was packed to the gills (note: make advance arrangements if you need to refrisgerate your own stuff). The staff did a superb job arranging restaurant reservations, treats awaiting our arrival to help celebrate our anniversary, and accommodating our other logistical needs. Best of all, I even got Bonvoy perks for the stay. Truly an urban oasis that my family will certainly be returning to again.

Staff goes above and beyond
Had a great visit as a surprise 20th wedding anniversary. Staff was great, in particular Poe who went above and beyond by engaging with us and understanding our interests.

What an incredible space, beautiful views and awesome staff. The rooms are beautiful along with the dining experience. Plus, nice gym.
