We had a phenomenal stay at The Nines for the Winter Festival of Lights in Portland. Janessa was quick and friendly when checking us in and out. The rotating valets were all kind, joyful, and prompt. Our room was beautiful, clean and the bed was quite comfortable. I loved having a mini-bar, but a little space in the fridge for take-out leftovers would have been nice. The room was quiet despite being city facing. We could only hear the tram chugging by. The room remained a comfortable temperature and changed quickly when reset. There were plenty of outlets and table space to spread out.

My room was nice, but it was very small. Staff were rude & overwhelmed. And the restaurant had a 45min wait. Ended up getting room service. Also, I couldn’t get my car from valet last night to catch our event, so we had to grab an Uber. The mini bar in our room charged my card $9 for a redbull that I didn’t remove/purchase, talking about the sensors are sensitive. Well so are my feelings is what I was thinking. Anyway, be aware that parking is $67 a night. Next time I think we will go with the Ritz Carlton.

Had an amazing stay! Juan at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. We didn’t even need to leave the building for dinner as Urban Farmer was delicious. The staff know what they’re doing. Highly recommend!

It was my first time in portland for a business trip and was really impressed with the overall service . Breakfast at urban farmer was a highlight, they serve a really good breakfast and I loved the English muffins. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept well during my stay. I’d definitely recommend asking for a room on a higher floor. Lastly, shoutout to one of the staff juan at the frontdesk for being helpful and friendly.
