Amina is the best

Very nice people at the hotel, especially Amina. She helped me to navigate around and told what to do to get the best of Portland in one day.

Good upscale business hotel, but doesn't quite live up to luxury positioning

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 21 hours ago

The Nines is a decent upscale business hotel, but at $600/night it overpromises and underdelivers. Major issues at this price point: - Poor communication: When we asked for directions to the Japanese Garden, front desk proactively suggested using the courtesy car—just go downstairs and request it. Upon doing so, we were informed our rate didn't include it. Awkward and disappointing. - Subpar housekeeping: Multiple lapses including an empty trash bag left in the room one day and used drinking glasses not cleared away another day. - Breakfast: Long wait times to be seated despite the restaurant being only one-third full. What we enjoyed: The bartender at the rooftop bar was excellent and provided great service. Bottom line: Lower your expectations—this is not a Four Seasons nor Park Hyatt.

Fantastic PDX Hotel

Fantastic location, amazing service, and gorgeous rooms. Juan, at the front desk, was kind, attentive, and accomodating. Further, Juan went the extra mile and sent up a bottle of wine for my birthday.

Great Stay!

Great experience at the hotel! Juan was great at the front desk! Urban farmer was awesome for dinner and breakfast in bed was perfect!! Try the waffle! It was magical!! Only critique is the toilet is not very guy friendly! Super small and uncomfortable! I got a cramp in my back trying to get toilet paper off the roll. The back of the toilet has more open available space than Wyoming!
