Fantastic location and property. Gentleman at front desk for check in was very helpful and accommodating. I'm sorry we didn't catch his name. He's an asset to the hotel. Enjoyed the Urban restaurant, and club lounge. Peter in the Lounge was super cool and welcoming. Great experience overall. Would be happy to return!

Very much enjoying our stay at the Nines. The staff are the tops, in particular Judi in the club lounge, who is not just kind but went above and beyond, and made our stay here very special. This is a perfect location in downtown Portland and highly recommend to all!

Lovely hotel! Peter in the club is the greatest! He was so great with my toddler daughter. I would definitely recommend for sure! Valet and check in staff were also excellent. Peter and Judi went above and beyond.

We are returning guests. Upon arrival our room smelled like it had just been painted, we were unpleased and called down to Edward to see what we could do about it. Corby spoke to him and within minutes Edward arranged us to move to an upgraded room no problem what so ever! Talk about costumer service!! As returning guests we remembered Patrick in concierge. He is as awesome as ever with his up to date happenings near by and just his extremely pleasant demeanor! As usual we are leaving pleased & taken care of! Thank you to the team at The Nines, we greatly enjoyed celebrating our anniversary with you this year! Sincerely, The Drapkins

Nines would be a reasonable hotel if it only claimed to be reasonable. When it claims to be luxurious, it is only showing that it does not know what luxurious hotels are like. The location gives excellent access to downtown Portland, but we experienced considerable noise in the wee hours. The decor is eclectic, somewhat artistic, with much evidence of recycling. The carpeting is a wonder unto itself. Our room was not ready at 4:30 PM. Someone mislaid one of our suitcases, but did come up with it on demand. My breakfast omelet would have made a durable shoe sole.
