This hotel was by far our favorite of our 10 day trip to Italy! From the front desk staff to the bar and restaurant staff it was wonderful! So personable and friendly. Great ambiance and great food! Rooms are lovely but the view is the best part! We will be back to visit this lovely little community! Our favorite!

Great hotel, spacious room with amazing view of Positano from our room balcony and breakfast terrace. Romantic hotel perfect for couple. Convenient as the car can park in front of hotel to drop of the luggage, though a little bit walking distance from the beach but it's enjoyable walk as there are a lot of shops to see along the way.

Friendly staff and well run facility. Great location, can walk to all shopping areas, to good restaurants and to the beach. Former family Villa was converted to a hotel in 1955-still owned and operated by the same family--third generation.

Wonderful hotel with staff trained to be attentive to your every need. We watched a football game on the patio deck using our own device. There isn't a TV. Outside. The bartender brought out blankets as it was late at night and getting chilly. My wife came to the pool after spraining here ankle and the bartender actually got an Ace Bandage and wrapped it for her. The owner (Monica I believe) actually took the time to show us our room. We were traveling as a family, and had three room, with mine being essentialy a two floor 1 1/2 suite looking over Positano. Magnificent room and spectacular view. They have pizza's there on Friday and Monday, so make early reso's. Breakfast was very good and it perfectly located. Highly recommend.

I'm so glad I chose this hotel for my 4 nights in Positano. From what I can see, every room gets stunning views across Positano, all rooms get a balcony, the location is great for an easy 5-10 minute walk in to the centre of town, breakfasts are extensive and delicious, and the place is spotless. This is one of the first hotels in Positano, but instead of becoming run down with time, this hotel retains its classical beauty and everything still works (including their beautiful 50 year old lift). It may not have luxurious fittings or modern furniture, but then it was never meant to. Our welcome was great from the moment we arrived, and all of the staff were helpful and smiling. We had a Sky Room which was a great size, huge patio, large bathroom and loads of hanging and storage space. The views from the restaurant are also stunning, and while the (unheated) pool is a little small, it is very refreshing and great to have the facility. There are about 10 restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel (just turn right) and a great little deli directly opposite where you can get meats, cheese, bread, wine, etc. to eat on your balcony. A couple of points to watch (not necessarily negatives). There is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, parking costs 25 euros per day, and they do not follow their own 'green' policy for towels and linens. Also, you need to search out when they do their wood fired pizza's and live music nights. Overall, this would be first choice of hotel for a return visit to Positano.
