Reviews for Alchymist Grand Hotel & Spa
I loved this hotel. Usually the pictures are better than the real thing, but in this case, the real thing was better. Very quaint and roomy rooms in an historic building, right in the heart of Prague's old town. Wonderful breakfast and excellent service - the concierge even made a hairdresser appointment within 30 minutes of my arrival. They have a great wine and cheese time for guests every evening that is generous and well-attended. Even the chocolates on the pillow at night were delicious! This place is a true find!

My wife and I recently stayed here in mid June 2017 and we absolutely loved the hotel. The location is excellent close to the Castle District and a short walk to the Charles Bridge. Situated on safe, quiet street adjacent to the US Embassy. The hotel itself is classy, charming and very tastefully decorated. This is the kind of hotel that you will end up measuring all others against. The service was top shelf and the staff was gracious and friendly. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The sitting areas and spa really sumptuous. You will be very happy staying at this historical 16th century property.
It's all been said before but this is a good quality hotel with all services that you'll need. The staff are incredibly attentive with a good eye for detail. We were made to feel very comfortable by all the hotels staff, nothing was too much. Very comfortable rooms, good housekeeping & very good room service. We will probably break with habit and return here when we are next in Prague. Excellent.

A collection of old houses, the oldest built in 1517, combined into one hotel, next door to the US Embassy (extra security), and near St Michaels in the Mala Strana neighborhood. We loved it. The service was fantastic. Very accommodating staff. We realized, as we were arriving on the train in Vienna, that our passports were still in the safe at The Alchymist and we had a flight to catch in about 24 hours. I made a phone call to Ahmet at the Alchymist, and our passports were in our hotel in Vienna within 4 hours. Lifesavers! Also, the restaurant was very good and most of the main points of interest of Prague were within walking distance from the hotel. Prague itself, is wonderful. Charming, historic, beautiful.
