I have never seen such a beauty in my life! This place is amazing! Warm welcome after arrival, welcome drink at the reception, friendly and constantly smiling staff.. It all started so well and couldn't imagine the rest of the stay. Room was beautiful! Very spacious with an amazing decoration and details. In love with this place and proudly declare this is the most beautiful boutique hotel in Prague. What an amazing morning with excellent choice of breakfast food.. I am definitely a breakfast eater and I was in heaven.. Everything was so tasty, so fresh and well done. One of the best hotel breakfast in my life. Spa area is very nice with professional masseurs and real atmosphere. Decent swimming pool and rest area with comfortable beds. Location is perfect for people who prefer quite area around castle and walking distance to Charles bridge and other sights around Mala Strana district. Overall experience was better than I expected and I will definitely come back again!

Totally in love with everything in Prague... We loved the location and all the facilities that the hotel and all the staff provided for us, for making our weekend really unforgettable. Located in the most beautiful area and quite area in Prague. Great afternoon hours of relax, great wine and cheese proving, then some spa in the evening, just before having delicious meals of the restaurant. Thank you and we look forward to come back again when we will visit Prague.

The Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa is exceptional!! The location is fantastic and you are able to walk the entire Old City from here. The food, both morning breakfast, which has a wide variety of choices, and the evening restaurant are outstanding. Our room was nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The Hotel is close to the Castle complex and is just off the main roads which makes it quiet in the evenings. We stayed for eight nights which meant we were able to interact with the staff for a longer time than the average traveler. Without question, the staff are knowledgeable about the city, gave us very good advice on where to eat and what would be worthwhile seeing other than the usual tourist spots. They arranged tickets, transportation and provided for our every need. Very professional and truly friendly service. The private transfer service to and from the airport was first class. The Hotel is elegantly decorated and spotless. We have traveled to many of Europe's cities and stayed at high end hotels. The Alchymist excels in providing a truly luxurious and personal experience for their guests, far beyond what we have encountered in other major centers. The Alchymist is truly a 10+ experience. If you are traveling to Prague you must stay there!!

Every aspect of our stay was accommodated, including help to remove our disabled rental car by tow truck! The staff provides nothing less than their best. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our room, for two adults and two children (in a separate, connected room) was spacious and beautiful.

we stayed at the alchymist for three nights and had booked the fairytale afternoon spa experience. the hotel is ideally located, very close to the charles bridge, it's easy to walk to most major sightseeing points. staff was exceptionally friendly and accomodating. the hotel room was small and very opulently decorated. gilded wood and heavy damask everywhere. bathroom had a good shower. our room, 106, opened up into a small courtyard, apparently people used it for smoking (ashtrays). the bed was way too hard for me but my husband liked it, so it's down to personal preference. the style of the hotel is not my cuppa at all, i am all about clean lines and minimalistic design but again, husband booked it, and it's all down to personal preference. the hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood and we felt very safe. every night we found delicious homemade chocolates in the room and a complimentary bottle (8dl) of still water. wifi fast and easy to use. did not partake in the daily wine and cheese tasting since i don't drink wine. also not keen on breakfast buffets so i was delighted to see a menu for complimentary egg dishes along with a section of additionally charged dishes (eggs benedict for instance or the 200.-- dish with russian caviar), on the complimentary menu make sure to order the bohemian omelette, i ended up eating it daily for breakfast, it was so good. potatoes, eggs, tomatoes and bacon heavenly seasoned and served really hot, a perfect start for any day. breakfast room staff (same location of the hotel restaurant aquarius) is friendly and quick with coffee refills. spa staff made us feel very welcome and we even booked a second massage the day of our departure due to really cold weather and because the first massages had been so great (hawaiian and balinese). we had already checked out and were given lockers to put our stuff and fluffy bathrobes, slippers and a towel for the spa. the therapists were great in creating a soothing relaxing atmosphere during our treatments. the fairytale spa afternoon started at 4 pm with a delicious fresh fruit platter, glass of sparkly wine (i would have preferred water or coffee). then we had our 90 minute massages in the same room. we could chose from a variety of different oils and massage techniques, also the level of pressure. after the massages, we relaxed with a cup of tea. then we went to change for the 8 pm three-course dinner included in the package. i was not overly impressed with the atmosphere in the aquarius restaurant. it was a bit too quiet for me, enjoyed my dinner though, lamb was cooked to perfection and everything was beautifully presented. we chose not to drink wine with our meal and were given an option for softdrinks instead. maybe the hotel could include a differently priced version of the fairytale spa afternoon dinner for people who don't drink alcohol.
