We were going to Prague for a 3 nt visit for our Silver Wedding. On arrival at the hotel, the doorman rushed out to get our bags and escorted us to a lounge where we were brought tea, coffee and sparkling wine and the receptionist came to the lounge to do our check in with us. Whilst having arrived mid morning, our room was ready for us and we were escorted to our room which was beautiful. Good size, beautifully decorated with every facility required and in excellent order. Xmas decoration at hotel was beautiful, cheese and wine from 5pm -6pm each day was so relaxing after exploring Prague all day and we were sent a complimentary bottle of fizz for our anniversary. Staff could not have been more pleasant and couldn't have done more for us. Breakfast was lovely too (hot plates didn't keep food as warm as I wld have liked but this was a minor point). This hotel was truly perfect and will be our only choice when returning to Prague.

We had an awesome 3 night stay to celebrate our anniversary Upgraded to a junior suite and sparkling wine in the room. Staff can’t do enough for you and the location is excellent. If you are going to Prague then stay at the AGH&S - you will not be disappointed

This place has the most esquisite cafe / bar which is just the nicest little rest haven when you've been walking the streets or returning after a hard day as a tourist. Friendly service, wonderful cake, great tea, coffee or something stronger.

My husband and I celebrated a special anniversary in Prague so wanted a special place. This hotel was everything we wanted and more. The service was excellent. The staff was authentic in wanting to make sure our visit was special. The hotel itself is a fascinating place. Three buildings put together so a maze of halls with new discoveries around the corner (but not a large hotel so you are not walking for ever to get anywhere). Decorated lavishly so you really feel like you are some where special. And location is perfect. In the quieter Little Quarter just under Prague Castle you can get anywhere on either side of the river very easily. We walked EVERYWHERE from here. Highly recommend this place

Sumptuous, utterly divine and dripping in history, this hidden quiet gem is heaven on earth for tea, coffee and cake lovers. My partner and I stumbled across it whilst moving away from the crowd and, were absolutely stunned by the luxurious decor. We arrived at 4:30pm and had an hour or so to kill before heading to the airport. We were treated so well by the friendly lady in charge who made us feel so comfortable we didn't want to leave. The mint tea, cafe latte and cakes were the best we'd enjoyed during our trip. We shall return to Prague next year and, are planning to head straight there to continue where we left off and hopefully to catch their 500th year celebrations!
