Reviews for Alchymist Nosticova Palace
Stayed here a few weeks ago and can honestly say it's the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The decor is wonderfully opulent throughout the hotel. The attention to detail is second to none! Every single one of the staff were highly attentive and were able to attend to every request. The hotel served complementary wine and cheese every evening from 5pm, this was delightful. We had chocolates put on our bed every evening when we came home - such a special touch! The spa was absolutely spotless and even if you go just to have a swim, do go, it's beautiful! The breakfast was simply amazing, very fresh and with a wide choice. The hotel is near to Charles Bridge so is a great base to explore the city.
Although described as a gothic boutique hotel, I found it more on the regal side. From top to bottom this hotel oozes splendour and really transfers you back in time with a feel of royalty. From the antique furnishings that decorate the halls to the lavish room decor, you can't help but feel almost spoiled by the flawless attention to detail put into this hotel. Oh and the bathroom, a room Cleopatra herself would be proud of and the size of the bedroom itself completes this royal experience. The location is perfect, 5minute (if that) from the Charles bridge makes it the best possible location for all points of interest whilst benefitting from the more quiet side of the river. The spa is not on site but in a sister hotel 5-10 minute walk away. The massage and facial was on the dearer end but was on an excellent quality- would recommend if looking for a treat. The pool however is very small.
Wonderful stay in a charming hotel. Dining room for fantastic breakfast is like a jewel box. Room was very clean and it felt like very special and so unique. We were very glad we didn't stay in a boring cookie cutter luxury chain hotel. Walking distance to everything and yet so quiet as it's right by the American embassy. Loved it and would definitely come again.

A few months ago I started planning my trip to Prague to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. From the moment I started emailing the hotel to finalise arrangements I knew it was going to be a wonderful trip. Not only were the replies quick and polite, they truly tried their best to make it a special trip. They offered us the chance to upgrade for free as it was a special occasion, and they delivered on that promise. We ended up in the gorgeous deluxe room that had a huge bathroom and access to a lounge and kitchen. The room was warm and inviting and we had chocolates on our pillow after every change over. The staff spoke fluent english and did their best to make us comfortable, and the restaurant the San Carlo was wonderful, well priced and so relaxed. The breakfasts were delicious and varied and the car service we used made the travel to and from the airport very classy and didn't break the bank. We adored Prague, it was a wonderful trip and I would recommend anyone looking for a special place to go to use this Hotel, it is magical, and you'll feel very at home.
We stayed at the Alchemist at the beginning of February, it's a great location as close to the Charles Bridge, and the restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Prague is a beautiful city and great for a long weekend break.
