The minute you enter Aria you know you are someplace special. Physically, it is like entering a theater, a long and less wide entry into a magnificent foyer. The entire lobby and adjacent sitting areas surround you with art (paintings, lithographs, sculpture). The hotel is divided in sections using different elevators so you never get that big, crowded hotel feel. Our room was not a room, but rather a suite that was unlike any I'd previously seen. It was on the top floor- abundant in skylights, a creative and original Cathedral ceiling. We had a full and half bath, kitchen, living room, bedroom, enormous closet and a beautiful and well outfitted bathroom. Again, the entire area was rich in art work. The bedding belonged to royalty,a pillow top on the top of a fantastic mattress made sleeping a dream (sorry, I couldn't resist). The front desk staff is incredibly helpful and friendly beyond words. Their concern, it seems, is your enjoyment of not only their hotel, but their city as well. When they suggest a visit to their gardens- go. The rooftop views are spectacular- you can see a huge portion of the city. The lower gardens are breathtaking. In addition to access from the hotel, it is also part of the city of Prague. The park is multi-tiered filled with beautiful trees, plants, flowers and paths. Additionally, there is an aviary of interesting species that is fascinating to watch. It is a hotel stay that will be difficult to surpass.

Aria hotel is situated 5 minutes walk to Charles Bridge, in neighborhood which gets very quiet after 5 pm. The rooms were enormous size and the staff was very friendly and helpful all the time, as it was our first trip to Prague.

We chose this hotel because of their helpfulness and prompt replies in pre-trip email inquiries. When we arrived, we experienced impeccable service. The concierge and front desk staff were very helpful. The lobby was beautiful. We had a junior suite, which was a good size. Our two favorite things were the private garden and the complimentary use of Handy. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and a tram stop. In the other direction, it's a 5 minute walk to the John Lennon wall (and a little further you'll find the river and a beautiful park). I'm so glad we stayed here-close enough to everything, but not in the chaos of Old Town. If we ever go back to Prague, the Aria will be first on my list.

This music themed hotel was an excellent choice for our first visit to Prague. Our junior suite was spacious and contained all the amenities one might expect. Plus, the use of an iPad and a mobile phone with free internet and calls was more than I expected. The staff were exceptional in ensuring we made the most of our time there. The private garden has spectacular views over the city, as does the roof top restaurant.

I booked the Aria based on the great reviews and central location for our trip this past July and could not have been more pleased. Staying at the Aria made our stay in Prague an even more enchanting experience. The hotel staff is courteous and kind above and beyond, and the amenities are amazing -- without doubt the best breakfast buffet (included in price) of any I have had, and you get to eat it in their charming dining area off of the first floor lobby area. They also serve a nice afternoon tea there as well (also included). The decor of the Aria adds greatly to it's ambiance; as its name suggests, there is a music theme, and every hotel room and many corridors are decorated with musician portraits, wonderful caricatures (my son's floor had David Bowie and we had Led Zeppelin). The rooms were very comfortable and they accommodated my need for a humidifier. If this is your first visit to Prague, avail yourself of the wonderful concierges (also on the first floor); they will help you to plan your days and are a great source of information. At the Aria you are a quick stroll from the Charles Bridge, and the Monastery is a lovely hike away, not too long. Great location. I would never stay anywhere else in Prague. And if you want to treat yourself, make reservations to dine at their wonderful restaurant.
