Golden well hotel is perfect place to stay. Close to Charles Bridge and Prague castle. Very quiet. Restaurant is absolutely awesome. Rooms and room service is the best. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

First let me share that I am very picky about were we stay on vacation. We spent four lovely days at the Golden Well. Our room, room 25, was very well decorated, and spacious, with a great view. The breakfasts had many choices and were very tasty. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate requests and were very helpful with suggestions for outings in Prague. We also made reservations and dined at their restaurant, the Terrace, one night. The food was exceptional and again the wait staff was very attentive. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return there again one day.

Golden Well is one of the most relaxing, beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. With perfect service, rooms overlooking historic Prague and beautiful gardens, delicious breakfast, and walking distance to everything, I recommend it highly and would return in a minute.

When you arrive at any new hotel, your first impressions last. Set in a quieter area, what you find is a hotel who do things correctly and professionally. From the checking in with the complementary glass of sparkling wine or beer to the warm well presented and peaceful rooms. Breakfast in the restaurant with its stunning views across Prague was enjoyed every morning and all staff were professional polite and welcoming and remembered previous hot drink orders so ahead in the serving of them. Andrea, we thank you and your staff enjoy your Mimosa. We had one evening meal in the hotel and it’s a long time since all 4 in our party commented how good the food, the setting and the service was. It may present as expensive but to have four trained waiters present your food at the same time, you know it’s special. Again staff great knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. A really nice evening but I passed on desert as I couldn’t manage it… yes even me! Rooms cleaned refilled and turned down every night with a little something left by your bed every evening, I won’t spoil it but it was a lovely little touch. Thank you Lydia for your attention to detail and obvious insistence to perfection. Would we go back? Yes definitely..

The location of The Golden Well is fantastic. You can not beat the attentiveness of the staff. I went with my husband and four young adult kids. The bed time turn down service leaving a sweet dessert on your nightstand and your fluffy bathrobe and slippers waiting for you makes going to bed an event. Heated bathroom floor was so nice. Had a great bathtub as well. We were treated to complimentary drinks in the bar upon our check-in. Don’t get me started on the breakfast! It was so delicious. The view from our bedroom was beautiful but looking out from the terrace where breakfast is served was the main topic of discussion. We had three rooms and stayed for four nights. Highly recommend!
