A Relaxing, Allergy-Friendly Paradise at Grace Bay Club!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

My husband and I went to Turks & Caicos last week and we really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere of Grace Bay Club. The staff were incredibly friendly, and over the duration of our five day trip, they learned our names, where we liked to sit for breakfast, our latte orders, etc. Most important - they learned our food allergies and took them seriously!! Food Allergies? No Problem! Anyone with Celiac or any other food allergy understands how important this is! THE GRILL is their primary restaurant for breakfast and they had a beautiful selection of foods that were dedicated gluten free, to include sliced bread, muffins, special cakes, and so on. Their normal dishes were all clearly marked for allergens as well. They also would cook up special orders, such as omelets and gluten free French toast! Every day, my husband and I would order a latte to drink before getting food, and one day they had no almond milk for my husbands latte, so his first was made with oat milk similar to mine. Before he could finish his first coffee, they had already gone to the store to get more almond milk! TOP MARKS!! The manager Beatrice and server Sonny were the absolute best! The Taco Bar & Beachfront Dining GBC also had a daily, beach front TACO BAR that is only open for lunch. I was nervous the first time that the tacos would make me sick, but after the first successful plate of tacos, I ate there two more times before we left. Garth runs the taco bar and will become your friend before you leave! Specialty Dining at Infiniti We also ate at their specialty restaurant, Infiniti; however, the experience was just not on par with other dinner options we experienced. They did bring out the chef to talk to us, but their sushi menu was not marked and after an hour of back-and-forth, I just ordered and hoped for the best. It went fine, but the food was not worth the stress. Clearly marked menu's and trained staff would make all the difference. The atmosphere was stunning, but again, food awareness trumps everything for those of us with food allergies. Final Thoughts Overall, I really and truly enjoyed GBC! The beach is what you come for, but the morning lattes, concierge service, free bikes, free water activities, cabanas, etc. really upped the experience and I would recommend GBC to anyone I know!

Wonderful Mother–Daughter Getaway at Grace Bay Club 🌴✨

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Our stay at Grace Bay Club was a wonderful mother and adult daughter trip. The staff were consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful — special shout-out to Narvy for his outstanding service. The beach was absolutely beautiful, with comfortable lounge chairs and breathtaking sunsets. We also want to thank Gina, the “Queen of Smoothies,” for her cheerful personality and delicious creations, and Williams, who was exceptionally pleasant and attentive during both breakfast and lunch. Snorkeling was an incredible experience, and the Jazz Sunset Cruise was relaxing, fun, and memorable. Although the adult pool was under repair during our stay and we experienced a brief water outage for several hours, the staff managed everything efficiently and operations continued smoothly. Overall, a beautiful resort, caring staff, and unforgettable experience. We would gladly return!

The Sweetest Sixteen

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years since we first experienced the Grace Bay Club. And it just keeps getting better every time. From the moment you arrive and are warmly welcomed by Charmaine, Noel, Navry and Tiffany, to your first included breakfast at the Grille, being lovingly cared for by Junie ( the boss with her own hot sauce), Racheal, Stanley, Sonny, Antonia and Jalissa, your Amaaaaaazing time in paradise has just begun. As you decide where to go next, the pool the beach, another pool or another pool, you will be pampered by a team of young guns. Say hello to Kevin at water sports, or Holy Moses and Saint Ives, Antony and Armando, all who will make your sun time the most fun time. When the salt air begins to feed your hunger and thirst, the Krave and Off Shore are the places to go. One by a pool, one on the beach you can’t miss. The food and drinks are beautiful crafted. Especially the drinks by the one and only world famous island-country singer Garth and his back up man Maneese. This makes Margaritaville look tame. ( Sorry Jimmy Buffet but you wouldn’t have stepped on a pop top if Garth had been there, because he would have carried you home.Actually he would have had Maneese and Armando do it.) Now following your second nap, it’s time to consider dinner. Of course there are wonderful off site restaurants, such as Graces Cottage and Rock House, which you must try, but the Infinite bar and Restaurant is the place to start. Sean and his staff, especially Ojio and Janeese will create the ultimate in a dining experience. ( Or in my case a drinking experience, no one judges, but I digress) which will make you know you Truly are in paradise. The nice part is, you can have the most magnificent and finest dining experience practically in the world, or just have a sumptuous lite bite before bed. Oh and the beds are firm clouds that float you away in anticipation for the next days fun. And the house keeping staff is meticulous. So helpful and courteous..As is engineering in case you can’t figure out how to use the remote. (Sorry about that guys.). Lol Now none of this would be possible if wasn’t for the Team leaders. And I say that because they all are a family. The mutual respect between managers and staff is very unique. Johnathan the new GM is the truest of Gentle Giants. Franklyn the leader of the concierge crew is like Angel Gabriel, firm, strong, somewhat handsome but the most caring and nurturing to his staff. Always raising them up. And lastly Angella. How she manages all the reservations across all five properties is a miracle. Not just room accommodation to make sure your stay is perfect, but all other type reservations such as dining, to make sure there is no confusion or disappointment.. Thierry, the corporate head, is a very fortunate man to have such a terrific staff. But then again, he hired them. So, thinking of going. Think no more. Tell them Brian sent you. They’ll get it. You won’t regret it.

Grace Bay Club should be on your bucket list!

I cannot even begin to say enough amazing things about Grace Bay Club. I pride myself on reviewing hotels, restaurants and experiences, and this was one for the books! My husband Alex and I went away for our honeymoon for a week, needless to say it was not enough time! This was my 5th time visiting Turks, and my husbands 1st, however it was our first time staying at Grace Bay Club, and surely won't be our last. We were taken care of for the entire week by designated concierge team, Bruce and Austin. Anything that was needed from reservations, taxi rides, extra waters to the room, you name it, they were there to immediately reply via WhatsApp, to deliver! The resort itself is breathtaking, and sets itself apart, tenfold, from all the other resorts on Grace Bay. It is boutique, while also vast enough holding multiple restaurants, three pools, pickleball and tennis courts, a gorgeous spa, gym, and amazing boutique offering high-end clothing and accessories, called COCO, a kids club, and an extensive, gorgeous beachfront that truly has a "private" feel. In my opinion, this section of Grace Bay Beach does not get the foot traffic that resorts farther down such as Beaches get, giving it more of a serene, quiet, more "private" feel. We met multiple groups and couples that had expressed that this was their 5th-15th time visiting Grace Bay Club! The staff was unsurpassed. Personally, although everyone we met was outstanding, we want to recognize Reggie, Bruce & Austin, Beatrice, Vanessa, Lewis, Jean, Mardochee, and Jerry. "Reggie"/Reginald, was there to greet us by the beach each and every day with a smile on his face. He was eager to make sure we always had everything we needed. One morning while applying sunscreen, I had left my Oura ring at the stand by the beach, and subsequently left the resort for an activity for a few hours. Upon my return, Reggie ran up to us immediately, returning my ring, remembering it was mine! He served us drinks and lunch every day on the beach and even cleaned conch shells that we had found on the beach, in order to properly transport them home. He had truly become someone we would never forget, and seriously our trip would not have been complete without him. We're lucky to call him a dear friend. Jerry also helped set us up on the beach a few mornings, and always had amazing suggestions as to where to find the best seashells, snorkeling, etc! Beatrice greeted us each morning with a smile on her face at the Grill for breakfast, making sure that everything was going well with our stay. One thing about Grace Bay Club is that the staff is always happy and positive, making your vacation feel like pure serenity, and an "escape" from reality! Lewis, Jean and Mardochee were our bartenders at the Infiniti Bar during our stay and made some of the best drinks we have ever had (and we can be picky about our margaritas!) We had great conversations with them, getting to know their backgrounds, local dining suggestions, and overall, creating friendships. Their service was next to none, and they were always making us laugh! Vanessa was always such a sweet, warm face to greet us at Infiniti and was always ensuring that we had everything we needed. She even took some great photos of us on my camera. The food on property was outstanding. Breakfast is included in your stay each morning at the Grill, which overlooks the ocean. It is buffet style, while also offering fresh to order omelettes, any style eggs, lattes, espresso, etc. There were fresh squeezed juices available each day, although the orange juice stood out the most. It was the best orange juice we have ever had! The property also offers Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar, an upscale fine dining option, and Infiniti Sushi Bar, which offers more casual dining options, both amazing for dinner or drinks. We dined there a few times and everything was fantastic. Some of our favorite items on the menu were the Chili Garlic Tuna, Champagne Miso Roasted Black Cod, Chilled Watermelon & Buffalo Burrata Salad, & the Koji Wagyu Yakitori. We also enjoyed delicious tacos and fresh salsa and chips at Offshore, which is a casual dining spot on the beach on property. The pool & beach dining options were even outstanding. These selections are available to be ordered and delivered to you by the pool and on the beach. Some of our favorites were the caesar salad with grilled chicken, the mahi mahi wrap, and the chicken tikka wrap. Additionally, each day around lunch time at the pool and beach areas, you are greeted and offered a different type of delectable treat served in coconut cups such as passionfruit sorbet, tapioca and coconut, etc! The one and only downside to our stay was that the Adults Only Infiniti Pool/Section was not open for the majority of our stay due to renovations, and we were not informed until we got there. In my opinion, it is the nicest and most popular pool on property, and although we were granted access to the Estate pool and family pool, it was not the same, especially for our honeymoon, as this specific one overlooks the ocean, and is located directly next to the Infiniti Bar. We were definitely pursuing serenity, romance, and intimate settings while on our honeymoon, and with the single Adults Only section being restricted, and although we do love children, it was an immense let down. We are beach lovers, of course, hence our visit to Turks & Caicos, however this was quite disappointing and discouraging. The last two days of our stay, the pool ended up opening which was fabulous, however we were reminded of how great this would have been for the entirety of our stay, since there were some rough water days for the ocean due to the storms up north. We even hoped to potentially add a few more days to our stay as the end approached, and hoped there may be a discount with the pool being closed, however the rates remained the same as when we booked/current prices online when inquiring, which was also discouraging. Our room was breathtaking. We stayed in one of the Junior Villa Suites, overlooking the ocean. If you wish to splurge a little extra, this is well worth it and may be the cherry on top to your perfect stay with GBC. Waking up to views of the ocean each morning, and sunsets each evening, speak for itself. Aside from all of that, we were able to create relationships with other resort guests that are repeat and new visitors as well. We were able to discuss our experiences at other local resorts, as well as good dining options nearby, etc. We actually sent three different groups to a restaurant called Marine Room and Rock House, which is owned by the same group that Grace Bay Club is, that we throughly enjoyed twice during our stay, and they all thanked us the next day having had the same great experience! We hope to make visits to Grace Bay Club part of our yearly traditions and hope to remain customers for life, especially after this visit. We know it will truly get better and better as time passes. Thank you and so much love to all!
