An expensive an comfortable hotel. We choosed adults only area to have more privacy, but we had the disgusting surprise of arriving at the room coming back from the beach and there was no water for shower, toilet and so on in this particular area. That was extremely frustrating for what we expected from a hotel at this level in a private area.

Our family stayed at Grace Bay Club's Dunes villa. We were steps off the beach and right off Smith Reef, one of the best snorkeling sites on the island. The service provided by Renald, Bobby and the cleaning team was excellent. We also had full access to the resort facilities including the spa and gym. We would highly recommend GBC and the Dune to any family or group looking for a private villa stay.

The hotel was not what I expected but the staff make it the best in that area. Everybody was willing to help and make up all our concerns, we spent 8 nights and after the second one we felt like being home. Francis at the reception was very kind and polite, always alert to pleased us in every requirement. Omar was also an outstanding helper, both of them were always there testing to please every guest. The hotel needs a renovation of the breakfast place, it is extremely hot and too many flies around the food. The service at the beach could be much better but is acceptable. Again, a special recognition to that wonderful staff

My husband and I stayed in the estates at Grace Bay in May and came home so relaxed we booked another stay in June and then again in August for my husbands birthday. The rooms, pools and beach are beautiful and peaceful. The entire staff was impeccable. Any request was happily accommodated. On our third trip our luggage missed the connecting flight. (Will always listen to the hubby from now on and put a swimsuit and basics in a carry-on) Not only were the basics provided, the management team went out of their way to help me find clothing for my hard to fit size! We travel often and this is definitely one of our favorites. So much so we booked another trip for the entire family. (We did explore other hotels on the island and remain convinced we made the best choice ) A special thanks to Monique, Fredna, Jay, Amado, Mark, Jean, our fave bartenders and of course Vernon and Franklyn - who made our every request their personal mission.

Arrived with my sisters to celebrate my b-day and stayed for 4 nights. As we have visited the Caribbean before i looked up this hotel that had great reviews and decided to book it even though the price was quite high. I was expecting something exceptional in return but mostly received expensive and mostly unfriendly staff in certain areas of the hotel. Ride from the airport which we assumed was complimentary (a rep waited outside the airport where the information counter inside sent us) was charged $50 each way. We stayed at the adults only building which had a small pool and beach access. Finding and asking the pool staff for towels (they fix the chairs around the pool and the beach) or food/beverages was usually met with annoyed faces as if i was disturbing their day. Even though the resort was quite empty drinks and food orders took a long time to arrive. Water activities were available through the hotel - SUP, windsurf, snorkeling gear. (they have a small number of floats you can use in the ocean- if you don't arrive really early at the pool you can't get one). When we asked about water tubing that we saw on our beach he kindly pointed us to it without telling us it wasn't a part of the hotel activities provided. When we finished they tried to charge us $50 EACH. I have no doubt that they split this with the boat driver. We ended up paying $50 total as it was unacceptable to pay $150 for a 10-15 minute ride but they did chase us across the beach. Sitting outside the suite wasn't possible as there are so many mosquitoes- they know this and put repellent spray in the room. Wish to commend housekeeping for great upkeep of suites. Concierge is available with personal phone although we didn't seem to need it. Breakfast had a good variety. We asked around and were told August is off-season. It was apparent with all the landscaping they were working on and trainees in the bars and restaurants. For the crazy amount they charged i was hoping for much much more.
