Grace Bay is the ONLY place to stay when visiting Provo. Bottom line. We had plans to travel to TCI in mid-Oct before Irma hit and were hesitant to follow through after the horrendous storm did its damage. Ultimately, we decided the tourism is what they would need most to rebuild as quick as possible. We stayed in the Estate luxury section of Grace Bay Club (not the adult-only or the family-friendly suites) during the middle of October, 2 weeks after they reopened post-Irma. Prior to arriving, I received multiple emails from the hotel requesting customized details of what we would like during our stay. From what to stock in the mini-fridge to which restaurants (if any) we would like reservations to be made at. The first impression was excellent! Arrival - Once we figured out which lobby to check-in with, everything was seamless. The woman at the check-in desk had everything ready for us and immediately notified our Concierge (Vernon) who went above and beyond in his attention to detail and customer service. Vernon escorted us throughout the section of property we would be staying in (The Estates), but made sure to explain to us that we had full access to all other guest areas. The Estates section is exclusive to its guests, as guests from the Suites or Adult-Only sections cannot use the Estates facilites (pool, hot tub, etc.), but Estates guests can venture anywhere on GBC’s property and use all amenities. After receiving a tour of the pool area, Vernon escorted us to our room (202). Our room was too beautiful for words, and took our breath away. The hotel is very beautiful in and of itself! From the check-in area, to the elevator, to the foyer of the room doors, everything is luxurious and beautiful. We were traveling for my b/f’s birthday, which was a surprise for him and Grace Bay went all out! We walked into a dream when Vernon opened the door to our home for the next five days. The view of the ocean from the doorway was jaw-dropping, but that was just the doorway! Then we walked into the room and had even better views from the bed and the bathroom! However, the best view came from the balcony! The balcony overlooked the pool and ocean. The pool separates the building from the ocean, but it is all right there! We were a stone’s throw from the pool (which was unbelievable in design, clarity and color) and the ocean was just beyond it! They had decorated the bed with fresh flower petals, balloons and an entire birthday cake! There was a huge plate of fresh fruit that lasted us our entire stay and an entire plate of cookies. The mini-fridge was filled with coconut water and bottled water, all per my request. There was a hand-written birthday card for my b/f and a welcome letter signed by Vernon. The glass doors leading to our balcony were over-sized and built very sturdy. The entire wall was glass! The balcony consisted of a table and chairs (where we ate breakfast every morning) and 2 luxurious lounge chairs. There was also complimentary bug spray in the table, due to the amount of bugs that come out after sunset. The bed was king-size and had pillows for days. The room decor was as up-to-date as could be and spotless! (I know I’m using a lot of exclamation marks “!,” but that is just how amazing the Estates at Grace Bay Club were!). The linens were high quality and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was anyone’s dream bathroom. The water closet was enormous and separate from the shower/tub/sink area. The walk-in shower was big enough for a small gathering and equipped with a rain shower head as well as a detachable shower head. It also had a large bench and was made of beautiful tiles. The room service breakfast was amazing. It was included in our room charge and with that, what we could order was unlimited. The employee that answered the phone every morning to take our order was always pleasant, attentive and thorough. Our order was always repeated prior to hanging up and once it arrived, it was exactly what we ordered. The food was brought within a reasonable amount of time after placing the order and the attendant delivering the food was pleasant and polite. The food was fresh and hot and the menu was extensive. From fresh cut fruit to made-to-order omelettes, to bacon and pastries. Sitting out on the balcony eating our breakfast every morning was one of our best memories and something that we will always remember. During our entire stay our personal Concierges, Vernon and Franklin, were excellent. They checked on us frequently and made sure that we had everything we needed. Whenever they would see us on property they would go out of their way to see if we needed anything else to make our stay more pleasant. Vernette, our room attendant, was very thorough in her cleaning and did not miss a beat. She did an excellent job everyday. We enjoyed having our bed turned down every evening and never had a want for bottled water, fresh towels or toiletries. Non-motorized sports were also included in the room charge and we took full advantage of those by going out on the Hobby Cat everyday we could. If we weren’t in the ocean on the mini-catamaran, then we were floating on complimentary foam floatation lounge mats in the crystal clear, amazingly clean infinity pool. Our days were long and full of relaxation and not a care in the world. The employees out at the pool were always pleasant and more than accommodating. Grace Bay Club is within walking distance to the Salt Mills shopping plaza area. There are several boutiques and a few places to eat and grab dessert. There are also a few restaurants in the outlying vicinity, which I would recommend stopping at (Turks Kebab and Patty Place) to get better priced meals and a legitimate taste of what the locals eat. There is a pricey grocery store near Salt Mills (Grace Bay Gourmet), but it still beats the cost of eating out for every single meal. If you don’t want to walk, GBC offers complimentary bicycles. We rented a car so we could explore the whole island, but it is not needed if you don’t plan on venturing very far. We loved Grace Bay Club and they treated us like royalty! GBC will be the only place we stay on future trips to Provo.

The Grill is an amazing restaurant, great food and an awesome service! If you go there you better order any of the pizzas, they are made with an Italian recipe! One of the best I have ever experienced.

We spent three days at Grace Bay Club and had such a great time! Amenities, staffs and ocean views are fantastic. You wouldn’t believe hurricane Irma got so close only two months ago. Our room was very nicely decorated, breathtaking view from the terrace and great bed. The bar, lounge and restaurant are very nice and lunch at the beach bar called Stix is probably the best place to sip a glass (or a bottle!) of rosé. This hotel is amazing and unique, we will go back again as soon as possible!

My wife and I spent a week at Grace Bay Club in late October. We had been to Turks & Caicos before and were familiar with the friendliness of the local people, the beauty if the island, and the incredible warm, clear ocean. Grace Bay Club is perfection and has become our new standard for a Caribbean destination. The property is beautiful, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the food and amenities are awesome. I know we will return here many times in the future and I'm considering Grace Bay Club as a destination venue for some upcoming company events. I have to recognize our butlers, Fitz and Liza, for having done a perfect job and Tiffany and Shameka for their excellent service. When you go to the Grace Bay Club, take the time to introduce yourself to Thierry, the General Manager, and thank him for the great job he is doing with his team. There;s no place better in the Caribbean than Grace Bay Club!

Let’s get straight to the point, YES, it’s absolutely a great trip idea to travel down to the Turks right now! Although Hurricane Erma passed through, her surges left the island unharmed. The locals will Express how scary the hurricane was, but blessed to have no casualties and just some school closures due to flooding. My husband took us down to the Turks for my birthday and our 2 year wedding anniversary. Allow me to tell you, the staff at GBC made our days there So special!! Book it! Don’t think about it, do it! Truly paradise! Prior to flying, a few days before hand my husband called the hotel to ensure we had a cab to pick us up upon arrival. Shared cab cost will be about $16.00 pp to go and $16.00 to return to the airport. Airport: after going through customs and collecting our baggage, were greeted by Airport staff to whom made sure we found our driver. 20 minute ride from the port to the club. Seeing the town and having a good conversation with the driver on tips on where to eat like Coco bistro and fun activity eating like the weekly Fish Fry that takes place every Thursday. Grace Bay Club: arrival. Greeted by the lovely ladies and our concierge Adam, check in was a breeze! Your offered the islands signature drink: Rum Punch...sip slow on this deliciousness, it will definitely creep up on you! Once registration with the hotel is complete, off to our Ocean View Luxury suite on the 3rd floor. Best view on earth! Upon walking to our room, Adam gave us a tour of the facility. 24hr Gym, spa, boutique store, and the infinity pool! Amazing views as we walked up to our room. The suite is the way to stay, absolutely perfect. Free WiFi, washer/dryer, beautiful bathroom, and full access to your concierge via a preprogrammed mobile phone provided. Very helpful when you need To make dinner reservations, or for any questions you may have. Adam our concierge was amazing, humble and thoughtful. He even made sure to give us a wake up for the daily complimentary breakfast! Everyone from our waitress Deon, waiters Juan and Trix were excellent. House keeper Marie made sure our room was immaculate daily. Aside from the daily wishing of happy birthday, Balloons, wine, champagne, cake and dinner acknowledgments of our celebratory vacation, the staff was OUTSTANDING! Go on down, trust us you’ll be glad you went! Looking forward to returning soon with our family!
