Point Grace in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Point Grace, named for the honeymooner who bequeathed her name to Grace Bay's indelibly beautiful shores more than 100 years ago, is a collection of spacious suites that retain the elegant British Colonial architecture of the island’s past. Rooms show off well-crafted Indonesian teak furniture, Frette linens and Turkish Saturnia floors. Outside, white sand beaches, recognized as some of the best in the world, lead to the underwater wonderland of Princess Alexandra National Park, where protected reefs teem with tame fish, graceful stingrays and barracudas.

Watch the sunlight glint through the palm fronds shading your terrace as you sip your morning coffee. Take a long walk down the 12-mile runway of Grace Bay beach. Stop to wade in crystalline waters when the sun gets intense. Deliberate over the day’s one true decision: coconut conch chowder or seared grouper with black bean and corn salsa?

Staff goes out of their way to help you with any request. Everyone on the island is so friendly. I actually found Point Grace on Groupon and it did not disappoint. Beautiful property. Quiet magnificent beach. The water is warm and crystal clear. Not enough words to describe how wonderful my stay at Point Grace was. Thanks to all for making my 1st trip to Turks memorable.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Point Grace. This is a small boutique hotel that is very quiet. If you looking for a place to get crazy then this is not your place! Everything closes pretty early. Having said that, it is a great place to just relax which is what we wanted to do! The place is extremely clean and everyone we encountered were very friendly. Especially Leslie who was always ready to set up my beach chairs and umbrella and have water bottles on ice to the lady at the bar( I'm sorry I can't remember her name) that fixed us just great drinks! The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear! Hardly anyone was out there. They would bring you pre lunch fruit kabobs and afternoon sorbet! We ate lunch out there 3 days in a row and it was always good. It's expensive but so is everything on the island. They have continental breakfast included and it is plenty but if you want to order a bigger breakfast you can to that to. We had dinner a Grace Cottage our last night and it is a beautiful atmosphere. Food was pretty good too. There are many restaurants within walking distance and they have bikes you can use too.

Nice clean private resort. Beach is beautiful. Only had luck with one restaurant coco bistro. Excellent. Others we tried were just ok. Had a rental to drive around the island but not much to see. They have bigger resorts including beaches and club Med for those who want action. Our resort was very quiet and had complimentary breakfast only. Room were very well appointed and people were very nice overall. Not much to do at night after dinner

First time to TCI and I took Trip Advisor forum members suggestion to book my week stay at Point Grace. Boy were they right - this boutique hotel is simply excellent. When my wife an I arrived, it seemed like the two ladies at the reception desk didn't quite understand that we were visiting, but that was quickly fixed. We were given a tour of the property by the younger receptionist who, we found out, is studying to be in the hospitality business. This beach side property has two main units with a medium size poll in between. A pool bar is located at one side of the pool. One end of the pool opens up to a beach walk way while the opposite end leads to the reception area. Two restaurants I never used are available to guests. This property does not have a gym but for $20/day/person, you can do all the workout you want at a local gym approximately 10 minutes driving from the hotel - I did not use the gym. Restaurants and shopping are right there or a few minutes drive away. Our 1BR suite was very well appointed with real wood furnishings and a full kitchen and microwave. It looked really nice. The very large bathroom had two sinks, a large shower and an old style bath tub. The master had a king bed with romance written all over it. I really liked our room. Everything was very clean, and everything worked well. The turn-key service was well appreciated. When we got into our room, cool welcoming music was playing, the fans were on and the A/C had cooled the room to a very comfortable 75 degrees. The TV remote was a bit difficult to operate but we figured it out. Internet connectivity is automatic but can get spotty. Connection is device dependent - PC, mobile devices and general access. Connectivity depends on which you select. For example, selecting general access on an iPhone may not allow internet access. There is a small breakfast restaurant with limited offerings, in my view. I used it every morning. There's plenty of activities to do - just ask the concierge. There's also a security guard at night at the entrance to the main units. However, I really wonder how much attention he paid to folks coming and going. It was a great stay for my wife and me and I can go on and on.... We had a rental car, so I can't comment on the hotel's shuttle service - it is available. Advise: read the property guide in your room. It has a ton of info from dress code to money lending and babysitting. It actually states in there that children are not allowed during Christmas and New Year holidays! All said, I would redo this hotel but with an ocean view, now that I have been there.

Started out very early Friday morning. Got to the airport on time only to be informed the aircraft had a dead battery. Got a later flight and, of course, missed the connection to the island. Departed the next day without incident. Arrived at La Vele resort only to find out they had sold our room becau5we didn't show on Friday. Not to worry, the general manager called Grace Piont and found us a room. And what a room it was. Ground floor one bedroom apartment. It was wonderful. We stayed and glad we did. The resort was a quiet, uncrowded pleasure. Breakfast was continental, dinner at Graces Cottage was superb. So much so guests from other resorts came over to eat there. Suffice to say we had a great are a at great resort all thanks to a dead battery and a rare person at La Vele.
