Point Grace in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Point Grace, named for the honeymooner who bequeathed her name to Grace Bay's indelibly beautiful shores more than 100 years ago, is a collection of spacious suites that retain the elegant British Colonial architecture of the island’s past. Rooms show off well-crafted Indonesian teak furniture, Frette linens and Turkish Saturnia floors. Outside, white sand beaches, recognized as some of the best in the world, lead to the underwater wonderland of Princess Alexandra National Park, where protected reefs teem with tame fish, graceful stingrays and barracudas.

Watch the sunlight glint through the palm fronds shading your terrace as you sip your morning coffee. Take a long walk down the 12-mile runway of Grace Bay beach. Stop to wade in crystalline waters when the sun gets intense. Deliberate over the day’s one true decision: coconut conch chowder or seared grouper with black bean and corn salsa?

Just returned from seven nights at Grace Point. My review is exactly what all the other 5 stars reviews said. This place is peaceful. It is tranquil. It's made for some quality quiet time. Even though the resort was full there was always sunbeds available around the pool and at the beach. There are no resorts to either side of it so the beach is very quiet and has limited foot traffic. Staff there are fantastic. Very hospitably. And they understand you are there for some peace and quiet. I would not recommend this for young families (kids aged 3-8) unless they are content to relax in quiet. The pool is a "quiet zone" and splashing, yelling and games are not tolerated. Lots of family resorts down the road. Here are some tips: 1. Rooms: Cottages are great. If you can swing it upgrade for the top floor. A little more spacious and better views. Main floor ones are just as lovely so don't worry if you are pool level. We stayed in C202. I think it had the best view of upper level cottages. C201 has great views as well. Can't go wrong with either. C203 is above the restaurant so it is a little louder and there are often patrons below. The trade off though is that unit has the best direct view of the water (through the palm lined walked way on the website). Cottages have a real British West Indies feel. Hardwood floors, dark cathedral ceilings. Absolutely gorgeous. I am sure the waterfront units are stunning - just a different feel and more expensive. 2. Use the complimentary airport pick up. Taxi lines were long upon arrival. Gary the driver is a legendary island character. 3. Walk into town - its only about 5-10 minutes. Very safe but take a flashlight! There are parts of the road that are very dark. You will be able to see but more so cars can see you as they pass by. 4. We packed lots of bug spray and sunscreen. Turns out my sunscreen was $3 more at the grocery store than at CVS in the US. We did the same for booze. In hindsight, for the few extra dollars you can get your gin and scotch there without any headaches (note - no booze sales on Sundays). 5. This is a quiet resort. Think of it as a stunning outdoor tropical library. No music. No loud voices. Every so often we had the loud American family that came in and forgot their "library voices" which just takes away from the charm, allure and pleasantness of the resort. 6. Lots of good restaurants in town but Grace's Cottage is as good or better than all of them. Consider a white linen dining experience on your balcony. Well worth it. Enjoy this marvelous boutique resort. It truly is serenity.

This 4400 sq. ft suite was just out of this world. For unbelievable viewing there is a huge balcony from the grand living room, and 2 two-story topside balconies, east and west. The suite is West Indies style , very dark and elegant. We ended our stay in Provo here at Point Grace for the last 3 days. The last 2 days were very overcast and raining but I didn't want to move from this gorgeous suite . Great wifi too. The hotel -I loved how the lounges were put in the landscaping around the pool for a little more privacy. ( rather than lined up in a row) Point Grace is beautiful, but seems to be more an adult place as it is rather quiet and restful. The pool is architecturally interesting but not for laps. And of course the hotel is on the best beach area. We were very pleased with the bar service, Cosmay is a delight. The breakfast buffet was very nice in a lovely garden cottage and tables in the garden. The driver for our return trip to the airport was very entertaining and informative.

Excellent, quiet location on the beach, with very good food and service. Beautiful pool and beach access. Rooms are all large including full kitchen, living room, etc. If you want a quiet small hotel without a lot of people overrunning the beach, this is your place.

The accommodations and beach are beautiful. The 4 bikes that they have for use at this upscale place to stay are in need of repair, They really need better bikes as apart of the amenities. The location is terrific a short walk into town. We walked back from Town each night but only on the last night were we made aware that this was unsafe and that recent muggings have happened nearby. So on the last night we took a cab. The cabs are expensive. The food at the hotel for lunch was delish, I think the fish tacos are super! The restaurants in Town are super, Coco BIstro and Coyaba. Danny Buoys is lots of fun as well.

Loved our visit to Point Grace and would definitely return. We rented a villa, which was so spacious and well decorated. The restaurant is also delicious and has a great atmosphere with the live band. The beach was very private and much less congested than nearby resorts.
