Point Grace in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Point Grace, named for the honeymooner who bequeathed her name to Grace Bay's indelibly beautiful shores more than 100 years ago, is a collection of spacious suites that retain the elegant British Colonial architecture of the island’s past. Rooms show off well-crafted Indonesian teak furniture, Frette linens and Turkish Saturnia floors. Outside, white sand beaches, recognized as some of the best in the world, lead to the underwater wonderland of Princess Alexandra National Park, where protected reefs teem with tame fish, graceful stingrays and barracudas.

Watch the sunlight glint through the palm fronds shading your terrace as you sip your morning coffee. Take a long walk down the 12-mile runway of Grace Bay beach. Stop to wade in crystalline waters when the sun gets intense. Deliberate over the day’s one true decision: coconut conch chowder or seared grouper with black bean and corn salsa?

Stayed in a 1 bedroom oceanfront suite, which was beautiful, loved walking into the suite and seeing that ocean view. They also do your check in, in the room, it was quick, took a tour then hit the beach. Also received fresh baked chocolate chi cookies & dipped strawberries. Been to Provo 3 times, this section of beach is the best on Grace Bay, we had great weather and always had a breeze blowing..Staff were great, always happy & smiling. They set you up on the beach, Leslie was our guy he took good care of us everyday. The beach was never crowed maybe four or five couples on the beach. As always, the water is breath taking and tranquil. They served us water on ice, fruit kebabs, cool towels, and sorbet throughout the day, they had all the water toys if you want. Breakfast was good every morning plenty of choices, or you can order off menu for extra$. Lunch was also yummy, pool bar was great, happy hour specials and snacks. Pool was always quiet which we loved we came for R&R and got plenty of it. I will stay here again, one of our best trips to Provo, plus you can walk to the center of town to get some good eats every night, or go for lunch and shop. Love this place..

Would have given this property five glorious shining stars because the suite was fantastic, bed and furniture very comfy, with a modern bathroom and kitchenette tucked nicely into traditional British West Indies style villas that surround a pretty little pool....except a property of this caliber deserves better breakfast and lunch offerings, and the pool bar really (and poolside restaurant) needs to open before noon. That's right. No Mojitos till noon, on your Caribbean vacation! While the beach was stunning and we loved the grand porch just off the living room of the suite, at room rates like these, one should not have go off campus to get a mid morning snack or a poolside cooler. Cute "bikes to borrow" also need a wee bit of maintenance, and the wifi under-performed in our room but was great on the beach (??). Overall, Highly recommend this place and would stay again, but with a couple minor adjustments to cater to guests it would be just over the top.

We have been there for our Honeymoon end of May. The location is perfect as you can take the bikes from the hotel and go for dinner to the center which is 3 min by bike( the hotel restaurant is ok but nothing special). The beach is very very nice, the water as well. Amazing rooms with all the facilities needed. The only thing that did not fulfil my expectations was the breakfast which was very poor considering the price of the room and the 4 star rating. They offer hard boiled eggs only every second day which I've never seen before. Of course you can order for extra money other food from a menu but as said for 500-700 $ price per room I expected more. All in all I liked it very much.

Spent a lovely and relaxing week at Point Grace. The beach is the most beautiful we have ever encountered and the only difficult part was weather to stay at the beach or the pool, which is lovely as well. The rooms are spacious and the balconies are so oversized that you don't want to leave them either. All the staff are wonderful and made us dreaming of how quickly we could return. Plus it's within walking distance to town for restaurants and shopping. The only negative would be the Grace's Cottage restaurant, which is in a lovely setting but we felt overpriced and not as delicious as promised. We are sure to return.

WOW..where do I begin? We had been to the Grace Bay area twice before, and stayed at the West Bay Club, which we loved. However, this time, we wanted to be closer to restaurants and the main "hub", so we researched a long time, and found Point Grace. Other considerations were: 1. Beautiful beach with complimentary activities such as Hobies, kayaks, etc 2. Restaurant on site 3. luxury accommodations 4. complimentary airport transfers 5. MOST IMPORTANT spectacular view of the water POINT GRACE DELIVERED IN ALL OUR WISHES, and in fact, exceeded every one. First off, each and every one of the staff was a pleasure to get to know during our visit, especially Cosmay at the bar, Donna in housekeeping, and Gary our driver. They all seem to truly care about the guests and love their jobs at Point Grace! Shout outs also go to Tara, Mary, Beverly, "D", the friendly girl who got our beds ready every night, and the young man (I cannot remember his name) who gave us our first tour of the property and helped me print boarding passes. Now as for our experience at Point Grace, this is how it went: We arrived on a rainy morning (we were later told May can be rainy so keep this in mind while booking..we had two days of rain our of 8), and were welcomed and went to eat a delicious breakfast at the on site restaurant "Hutchings", then were given welcome drink (Cosmay smiled and said "you can choose anything you want"..we chose rum punches which were excellent), then given a tour of the property, and taken to our 3rd floor 2 bedroom Atlantic Suite, which was gorgeous and clean..and did not disappoint with the spectacular view of Grace Bay. There was a welcome note from the manager, and a box of chocolate covered strawberries and cookies (delicious). We took a walk down the Eastern part of Grace Bay all the way to the Tuscany and the next day walked all the way West to the Gansevoort and agreed that Point Grace (right in the middle) has the best stretch of beach. We were set up each day with two umbrellas up by the water, with towels and and ice bucket filled with water bottles. Each morning about 10:30 we were brought fresh fruit skewers while we bathed in the sea, and mango and strawberry sorbet around 2:15. There is a nice breeze on this section of beach, and we stayed in the water almost the entire day, each day, for our whole trip. It was pristine. We used the resort bikes, which were free, but not "new", and rode into town to get groceries and eat was very safe and loved doing this with my family. We ate every lunch poolside with Cosmay's frozen concoctions, and the menu and quality of food was very good. Complimentary continental breakfast was awesome, and we ordered off the menu a few times to get our eggs benedict fix and banana french toast. We also ate at the onsite restaurant "Grace's Cottage" three times, and especially loved the chocolate lava cake and live music on Tuesday night. Point Grace offers happy hour each night..half price rum punch, wine and local beer from 5-6:30, and has two free appetizers, which change each night (we had fried chicken most nights). On Mondays, they have "Manager's Reception" which offers FREE drinks and a huge spread of food. Make sure you get here at 5pm sharp because it is awesome. Because the property only has 28 rooms, it never feels crowded and you always feel special. There were almost all couples staying while we were there, and we were once referred to as "the family" by other guests. We came to regroup as a family, while one child was heading to college this summer for the first time, and another one just returned after his sophomore year.....first time for the both of them to drink legally out the States, and they loved it. We did not see many teenagers at all on the island while we were there (most were probably still in school), but mine didnt mind..they didnt want to leave! I know this was a very long review, but I know that I did a lot of research on tripadvisor while planning my trip so hopefully this helps someone. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet place with beautiful accommodations, look no further! PERFECT for a honeymoon, or even a wedding. Cant wait to return.
