Point Grace in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Point Grace, named for the honeymooner who bequeathed her name to Grace Bay's indelibly beautiful shores more than 100 years ago, is a collection of spacious suites that retain the elegant British Colonial architecture of the island’s past. Rooms show off well-crafted Indonesian teak furniture, Frette linens and Turkish Saturnia floors. Outside, white sand beaches, recognized as some of the best in the world, lead to the underwater wonderland of Princess Alexandra National Park, where protected reefs teem with tame fish, graceful stingrays and barracudas.

Watch the sunlight glint through the palm fronds shading your terrace as you sip your morning coffee. Take a long walk down the 12-mile runway of Grace Bay beach. Stop to wade in crystalline waters when the sun gets intense. Deliberate over the day’s one true decision: coconut conch chowder or seared grouper with black bean and corn salsa?

Traveling with my in laws to their favorite place to stay at Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. This was my first trip here. When we landed the baggage area was a zoo but did run into our point of contact for Point Grace. He accumulated and tagged all of our luggage. He even waved down a taxi van, loaded it up and we all got in headed to our destination. It was already dark and when we arrived at Point Grace we gathered inside a lobby that open to the outdoors. The staff was very friendly and after a few signings we were handed keys. Our luggage was taken care of. We head to our condo and first look of the inside was very nice. It had a full sized kitchen, two bedrooms/bath, small laundry room with toilet, family room and outdoor patio. The resort gave us a box of freshly baked cookies. Some items are stocked like coffee and tea, and suggest going to the grocery store to buy food items. Once the sun came out we had a great view of the beach. The pool area is very nice with a bar. The bar had happy hour serving free drinks and food in the evening. In the morning free breakfast is served unless you order something off the menu. The staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. The beach here feels private where you have chairs to sit in under shade. Water and daily goodies are provided. You have both room and turn-down service. All this luxury makes you appreciate the tranquility of relaxation. Point Grace is very quiet and peaceful, and the sand is super soft and white. I ate at both restaurants on property and the food is unbelievably delicious. If you drive here then there is a small parking lot, but we had a rental and able to park it under our condo building. Our whole stay was gracious and loved it. If we return then definitely will stay here again.

Come here if you want solitude and a thoroughly relaxing vacation. Small and quiet, not a place for bringing the kids or if you like a party atmosphere. Beautiful beach right on the point of Grace Bay with no hotels on either side makes you feel like you have your own private beach. Rooms are spacious and luxurious, although a little updating is in order. Leslie on the beach and Cosamay at the bar were friendly and helpful. The crew here work together like they are family and treat guests the same way. While Irma may have damaged the trees and resorts somewhat, they seem to have bounced back well as has the spirit of those on the island. Most restaurants and resorts are open for business. The island was not very crowded during our stay which was an added bonus that I am sure won’t last long. Bottom line; we will be back at point grace should we visit Provo again.

My husband and I prefer smaller boutique hotels and Point Grace was exactly what we wanted. Patrick picked us up at the airport, very friendly and nice. Transfers are part of the price you pay. He was nice, but the van they picked us up in what a little shabby. Not a good representation of the resort at all. You'd think the hotel would have a nice vehicle with their name on it. When we arrived, Arthur took our bags to our cottage room and Rowvena showed us around from the grounds to our room,. She brought us to the pool bar where Cosmey served us a complimentary drink. Arriving at our cottage pool level suite, we were given a box of homemade cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. The drink and cookies were a nice welcoming touch. Our suite was spacious and had a kitchen, separate bedroom and also a washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable, the couch was not, and the bathroom was a big space with two sink areas. The fresh flowers upon arrival was so beautiful, too. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and, unfortunately, this could have been stepped up a bit. After 7 days of the same hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, and a sad plate of cold cuts/cheeses, it would be nice if they would vary the selection. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon? You get that at a Hampton Inn at a much lower price. Karine at the restaurant, though, was attentive and sweet. We always looked forward to her smile in the morning. Cosmey was another staff member that made our stay so enjoyable. Always smiling and sweet. Actually, every single staff member was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make you feel special. Every day at the pool, we would get fruit kebabs in the morning and fruit sorbet in the afternoon. The bathroom at the pool was charming with fresh flowers and cloth hand towels. Another nice touch! Our housekeeper Simone, did a great job at keeping our place clean and turned down our bed every night providing bottled water by our bedside. We never ate lunch at the informal restaurant so I cannot comment on that, but Grace's Cottage for dinner is a must. It was the best meal and service we had on the island. We went to many high-rated restaurants like Coco Bistro and Le Bouchon, but we loved the atmosphere at Grace's Cottage among the palm trees and twinkling lights. Again, our server Dee and the rest of the restaurant staff was just has wonderful as the hotel staff. I would recommend staying at Point Grace. Suggestions for the management would be to step up the buffet breakfast, especially for the high price we pay for a room. Also, the business center need a computer that works and a printer. We couldn't use the center when we needed to. Cedric (649-241-2316) to transport you around the island, especially in the evening for safety. We used him all week and he was always there within minutes of calling. We always felt safe with him.

We were somewhat concerned about what we'd experience post hurricane Marie and Irma, but were pleasantly surprised that things are as Great as ever. The facility and staff are still the best I've experienced in my extensive travel. From Mary at the front desk, to Leslie on the beach, Cosamay behind the bar and corine at breakfast-all the nicest folks you'll ever meet. Its our 6th time at Point Grace and we are planning to return in a few months. Its relaxing, quiet and comfortable. Everything we look for in a vacation. We also enjoyed returning to Graces Cottage and seeing Nadia and her team. Food and atmosphere are as good as ever.Love this place and cannot wait to return.

This was our third stay at Point Grace. We absolutely love it! There are a number of people working there that I now consider like family. I would like to point out a few but realize there are many more that made this trip and prior trips special. I would like to start with the front desk and reservation area first. I interacted with Beverly, Mary and Isheka many times before and during my stay. Each of you were wonderful and I hope you too now consider us as family. Several others I would like to mention include Leslie, Karine, Cosmey, Nadia and Ordell. Karine took care of us each morning at breakfast. For breakfast and lunch Point Grace has Hutching's and we went every morning. The oatmeal is the best I've ever had. Cosmey serves up the drinks at the pool bar and displays a very friendly personality. Leslie actually assists in two areas (beach and the dinner restaurant Grace's Cottage) and we've known him since 2012. He is easily the best of the beach bunch in taking care of the guests. He ensures you have a towel, water and brings out snacks too. He is also an awesome waiter too. Nadia and Ordell were also part of the Grace's Cottage staff and I will mention more on them under the restaurant review. Point Grace made it through the 2017 hurricanes and now are back to providing top notch service. They sit perfectly on one of the most beautiful beach fronts that exists on the entire planet. If you are looking for a place to relax and with limited noise this is the place. I would highly recommend it for couples seeking a more intimate place to go to or adults that are more laid back. There are other places for the party scene but for me personally I like to relax and enjoy the atmosphere here in this slice of paradise. To the entire resort I thank you for providing beautiful memories and a home away from home. All the best always!
