Villa Renaissance in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Celebrities enjoy the seclusion that the Turks and Caicos Islands offer, but that is just one of the many attributes this Caribbean haven brings to the table. While the island of Providenciales may be alluring, it is Villa Renaissance that dazzles even the most seasoned of travelers. Overlooking Grace Bay with a beachfront, this stunning property features three-dozen oceanfront and pooside suites.. The multi-room abodes feature bedrooms with Juliet-style balconies, full modern kitchens and sliding doors that disappear to make the most of the breathtaking views. The resort features a refreshing pool and poolside bar, with grocery delivery, private boat charters and personal fitness trainers available upon request.

Located off the coast of Miami, a little more than an hour by plane, a visit to Villa Renaissance has the feeling of being worlds away. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a refreshing cocktail and welcome basket - a sign of your VIP status. After that, how you spend your time is purely your decision. The sugary sands and azure waters are both so tempting, as is the collection of restaurants that are located near the resort. The Provo Golf Club is a challenging course with verdant fairways and lit tennis courts available for your use. You can pedal about the island on one of the bicycles belonging to Villa Renaissance or check-out the collection of books and DVDs at the resort's well-stocked library. Lounging by the pool also proves to be a favorite pastime for many.

Villa Renaissance was a beautiful place to stay in Turks and Caicos. This is our second stay on the island. The first time we stayed at The Royal West Indies. Villa Renaissance was a much better location. It is closer (within walking distance) to the supermarket and many restaurants. There is also shopping just steps away. The hotel has bikes for you to use which is a big help at the grocery store. The Royal West Indies had a restaurant right on site which is lacking at Villa Renaissance. It would be nice to get a quick breakfast or lunch and not have to leave. They had menus at the bar for lunch across the street but we didn't try that. The room itself was nicely furnished and everything was in great working order. The daily cleaning service was also wonderful. The pool area was clean and not very busy. The one downside was the bar. The bartender wasn't there many times. I waited on a few different occasions for him to return from wherever. Two of the seven days I wound up going next door to the Regent Grand to get a frozen drink. He was nice but it would have been better if he was more attentive and friendly. I also think they should have a drink of the day. It would also be nice to make sure that guests are aware of activities on the island. There was no music by the pool either. Some island music or a band once a week would be nice for guests wanting to stay in. This was definitely a beautiful place to stay with a great location. You don't need to rent a car and the grounds are well maintained.

We had a fabulous stay in unit 603. The unit is spacious, sparkling clean and nicely decorated. The unit is comfortable, quiet, great AC and includes everything you could possibly need. We were highly impressed with the unit owner Nicolai; her prompt response time is amazing. She is the ultimate host and aims to please her guests. We highly recommend unit 603 for the ultimate experience on Grace Bay Beach.

My family of five recently stayed at the Villa Renaissance for 1 week and stayed in Villa 308(Amazing Views). We arrived and was greeted at the desk by Corell who had to call a representative of the management company to greet us and take us to our suite which was ready as we had arrived ahead of check in time. Villa 308 offers panoramic views of Grace Bay Beach and its sliding doors retract back on both sides so it offers GREAT views from both sides of the balcony. The condo was a 3 bedroom that well was equipped with everything we needed for our vacation from full kitchen to cook breakfast, washer and dryer for dirty laundry, etc..... We had daily housekeeping services everyday which was great. It seems as if they knew our timing because every time we had left the condo for the beach, we would get back to a very clean condo. Corell at the reception was a pleasure to meet and was a great compliment to our family vacation. He helped us with all the details of the property, which restaurants to eat at and the layout of the island with regards to what is there do. He helped our family with horseback riding and also helped arranging a private bbq and snorkel trip for our family as well. Stephen at the bar does a great job with the drinks and also the food from the nearby Fresh Catch restaurant was great as well for lunch by the pool. All and all we will come back again as we greatly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Renaissance!

This was our 6th trip to Provo, and our second stay at Villa Renaissance. We stayed in a gorgeous 3 bedroom unit (#201). The views were amazing (see photos). A VRBO representative met us upon arrival and showed us to our unit. The unit is very clean and the appointments are updated. The bed was so comfortable I may need to find out what type it was an buy my own. The unit has a washer and dryer which was convenient - they even supplied the detergent. Housekeeping was wonderful and efficient. The resort's location is in the heart of everything- across from Salt Mills adjacent to Regent Village, along great stretch of Grace Bay. You can always find a set of chairs and umbrella along the resort's beachfront. (photo) The pool is elegant and an impressive sight. The desk is staffed all day (thanks, Novie!), and a security guard is on duty all night. They were updating security cameras during our visit as well. The poolside bar was a great amenity- you can order food from nearby Fresh Catch, and the staff will get it and bring it back to the pool. Our teenagers found this very convenient! Finally, we encountered a problem when we arrived back in the US and realized our daughter left her Macbook in the unit. Frantic, I contacted the representative for our rental unit (Drexwell Seymour). Drexwell responded within minutes to my email, and we received the computer back only 3 days later via FedEx. It was packed perfectly- as if it came straight from the Apple store- and the company even declined reimbursement for sending it back to us. Professionalism and kindness at it's best! In short, Villa Renaissance is really in the perfect location- walking/biking distance to dozens of shops and restaurants as well as the Graceway Gourmet. Very luxurious too. Highly recommend-- especially unit #201.

Grace Bay is full of condos over its 3 mile stretch. Villa Renaissance is conveniently located right in the middle and straight across from Salt Mills which has terrific restaurants, bars, coffee shops. It's also only a 10 minute walk to the grocery store. Our villa (303) was perfect. It had two beds, fully equipped kitchen, terrific view of the ocean, snorkel gear, cooler, and books/games. My wife appreciated the daily cleaning services, and I loved the Folgers coffee packets provided daily. We all agreed the mattresses were good, too. The fitness room is barely adequate, but I'm told it's one of the best on Grace Bay. The room is too small for the equipment, and the equipment is lower end, but it was sufficient enough for a small workout each morning. There is a standard gym directly across the road for $50/week. The tennis court was legit; it was just too hot to play. We would spend all day on the provided beach chairs/umbrellas and make our way to the wonderful pool in time for happy hour each day (5-7). Then we would get cleaned up and walk to one of the many restaurants located nearby. Honestly, I'm not sure it matters which of the many resorts you choose. We were just happy with the staff, location and price of Villa Renaissance. We will stay there again.
