Villa Renaissance in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Celebrities enjoy the seclusion that the Turks and Caicos Islands offer, but that is just one of the many attributes this Caribbean haven brings to the table. While the island of Providenciales may be alluring, it is Villa Renaissance that dazzles even the most seasoned of travelers. Overlooking Grace Bay with a beachfront, this stunning property features three-dozen oceanfront and pooside suites.. The multi-room abodes feature bedrooms with Juliet-style balconies, full modern kitchens and sliding doors that disappear to make the most of the breathtaking views. The resort features a refreshing pool and poolside bar, with grocery delivery, private boat charters and personal fitness trainers available upon request.

Located off the coast of Miami, a little more than an hour by plane, a visit to Villa Renaissance has the feeling of being worlds away. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a refreshing cocktail and welcome basket - a sign of your VIP status. After that, how you spend your time is purely your decision. The sugary sands and azure waters are both so tempting, as is the collection of restaurants that are located near the resort. The Provo Golf Club is a challenging course with verdant fairways and lit tennis courts available for your use. You can pedal about the island on one of the bicycles belonging to Villa Renaissance or check-out the collection of books and DVDs at the resort's well-stocked library. Lounging by the pool also proves to be a favorite pastime for many.

We love the Villa Renaissance. It's a small hotel on a quiet section of Grace Bay Beach. The beautiful ocean front condos are large & luxurious. The staff of the hotel & the offsite property managers from Allied are all very helpful & friendly. The location is great. We walk to the grocery store & to many different restaurants. We love being able to walk everywhere.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 1st floor oceanfront unit. Our sliding glass doors completely opened up to an amazing patio with breathtaking views of Grace Bay. This was my third and favorite stay in Providenciales. We truly enjoyed this small resort. The beach and pool areas were never crowded. The staff is friendly and attentive to all of our needs. Will definitely consider returning to Villa Renaissance! Many thanks to Mel, Nicola, Daniel and the rest of the staff. We miss this amazing view from our room!

My husband and I spent a week at this resort on the beach. Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The resort is an all suite property with large comfortable rooms with full kitchen and balconies. There is a lovely pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful with all guest needs. It is a very laid back atmosphere, although there were a lot of children when we were there. The resort is literally across the street from 2 plazas filled with shops & restaurants altho the supermarket is a longer walk. The resort has no restaurant itself, which we would have preferred. This is an amazing choice for a relaxing vacation in a spectacular setting.

Visited Villa Renaissance May, 2017. Stayed in Villa 203 and it was fabulous! The property is so beautiful! Villa 203 has an unobstructed full ocean view. The villa was well appointed and VERY clean and spacious. My husband and I stayed there for our 24 year wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. The resort in general is very quiet and romantic. We never had to "save chairs" at the pool or Oceanside, which can be stressful. This villa is walking distance to restaurants, bars and grocery store. Steve, the property manager was so nice and gave us great advice about great local restaurants to visit and general information about resort. Would love to visit again! Laura in WI

First time in Turks & Caicos, we stayed at Villa Renaissance for a week in early June. We chose it based on the great Trip Advisor reviews. I can’t say enough good about the Villa Renaissance property. When we travel we like to eat out and enjoy new things and the location of Village Renaissance was perfect with at 15-20 restaurants within a short walking distance. I didn’t’ want to bother with a car, which worked out great since the VR is less than 1/2 mile from Graceway Gourmet grocery store. I booked online without a choice of units and we ended up in Unit 307. That was the one and only disappointment of our stay. There were multiple mechanical difficulties: dishwasher, HVAC, towel bar falling off the wall, drains that barely drain, twin beds hard as a board and noisy, and the master bed made us feel like we were sleeping in a bowl. The deck furniture is not what is shown for unit 307 with no outside table for eating. The biggest disappointment was the kitchen - it was meagerly outfitted with cooking utensils and pans, with all of them severely scratched with several of the *cheap* non-stick pans showing rust on their cooking surfaces yuk. There wasn’t even a shaker of salt in the kitchen when we arrived. Given our disappointment in the room, if I’d written a review early in the week for Villa Renaissance it would have been very poor, but as the week went by we really came to appreciate the fantastic location, uncrowded pool & beach and wonderful staff. It really is an ideal property if you want a casual vacation, no crazy 20-somethings, not too many kids, excellent beach experience - Villa Renaissance was nearly perfect in the type of property we like to stay at. Perhaps the biggest reason I’m giving a five star review for a 3 star unit is Daniel at the VR. Daniel helped us schedule a snorkeling trip, arrange parasailing, got coconuts from trees on the property for our family and in general treated us like kings - he alone gained a full star for VR in this review. Thank you Daniel, you are awesome. I find it frustrating reading through the reviews with some (but not all) bad reviews receiving feedback “if you had rented an Allied Management unit you wouldn’t have these problems”. As I said earlier in my review, when I rented I was unable to pick a unit through he online service I used, and had no visibility into who operates which unit: VR should get it’s act together and present a unified front. A customer really doesn’t want to feel caught in the middle of what appears to be conflicts across property managers at VR. But again, surprisingly, by the end of the week the good far, far outweighed the bad and we would go back if we visit T&C again. I can’t recommend the Villa Renaissance highly enough, but if you visit, avoid unit 307.
