Beach House Turks and Caicos in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

Beach House Turks and Caicos wants to start a movement – from now on, a boutique hotel should provide unexpected bits of pampering to make a beach holiday totally carefree. It should stock each suite's refrigerator with the guest’s favorite foods. It should be on hand to arrange once-in-a-lifetime diving expeditions to some of the world’s best coral reefs, but remain gracefully unobtrusive to privacy-seekers on the idyllic flour-white sand of Grace Bay. The anything-you-want atmosphere here is why guests keep coming back.

Concoct your own breakfast of fresh-picked pumelos and starfruit to enjoy on your sunny terrace. Listen to the breeze rustle through the sand dunes on your way to a placid turquoise sea. Float and forget time. As the sky goes dark and the stars come out, pop champagne and savor coconut herb mahi-mahi at an oceanfront table for two amid the flickering glow of tiki torches.

One star for All-Inclusive; 3 stars for Food; 5 stars for Service and Property. Our Second consecutive year staying at the Beach House. Our stay 2/11-2/16. First the positives: The service from staff remains exceptional. We were happy to see almost all of the same staff as last year. The property is just as beautiful as last year, in great condition, considering they weathered two hurricanes this past year. We cannot say enough about the service at this facility, who made sure our stay was memorable once again. Special thanks to Vianel, manager, Vanessa, front end manager?; Dewayne, butler, Sherman and Roger, beach staff, Shireen (sp), dinner service, and Carlton and Lorraine in room services. They have gone above and beyond to provide us with excellent service. The newest addition, is Toby a 3-4 month old Boxer mix, who is the “mascot” of the property. Not so positives: Change to Adults only, All-Inclusive was not a positive experience for us. The Beach House, Blue Haven, and Alexandra Resort are the 3 resorts included in the new “All Inclusive” program. The Beach house itself has two dining options: Breakfast and Dinner at Kitchen 218; and Lunch on the Beach Deck from noon-4pm. Kitchen 218 (and bar) was CLOSED for dinner TWO nights a week. The menu for all meals (for our 7 day stay) were the same every day (with the exception of a special menu offered on Valentine’s day) The property also ran out of several drink options during our stay for us and others at the property, (beer, and ginger ale on two occasions) as well as breakfast options that were on the menu. Sadly, the food was marginal at best. While the chef prepared the Wahoo, (that we managed to catch), perfectly, other options were not so successful, such as Eggs Benedict, French Toast, among others. We opted to try the Blue Haven for dinner one night and were deeply unsatisfied. The atmosphere was more like a cafeteria with appetizer and dessert options served buffet style. The entre options were “ok”. We decided NOT to try the Alexandra for dinner as many other guests had negative experiences, and in 1 instance transferred to the Beach House for the remainder of their stay. As an older married couple traveling alone, we do prefer a quieter atmosphere, however, we do not think having children is a negative. Finally, we originally planned for a longer stay, however, the website showed the hotel as booked before and after our actual dates, which turned out not to be the case. In closing, we would gladly return to the Beach House because of the staff and the beautiful property WHEN/IF they discontinue the “All-Inclusive” program.

a few days into our one-week vacation, my wife and i realized we had made a huge mistake by booking the alexandra hotel, about a mile up the beach from the beach house resort. luckily, management of these sister properties arranged for our transfer to spend the remainder of our vacation at the beach house, and the facilities and services were like night and day. the general manager, vianel, picked us up personally and drove us from the alexandra to his divine resort, where dewayne, sharon, vanessa, and many other staff members attended to our every need as if we were royalty. our room was a gorgeous suite with a spacious, ocean-side balcony. kitchen 218, the on-premises restaurant, had a wonderful menu, and went all out to make a special presentation to the guests for dinner on valentine's day. sly, the bartender, was another wonderful staff member who provided just about any drink you could imagine. one catch if you are on the all-inclusive plan is that the wonderful restaurant is closed on tuesdays and thursdays, so we had to make other arrangements for our dinners on those days. still, we recommend the beach house without hesitation, and would love the opportunity to return some day in the future.

Rent the car, see the island, kayak the mangroves, take a boat ride with a bunch of strangers (they won’t be strangers long), and snuba/snorkel as much as possible. Maybe buy your own groceries/liquor to avoid sticker shock at restaurants, but know that the local peppers can be hotter than any ghost pepper I’ve ever had! There were eagle rays, manta rays, sea turtles, puffer fish, starfish, lobster, and more just 20ft off the beach at Coral Gardens. We didn’t know it until Joy taught us how to find them during our snuba excursion around the reef. After that, we swam with these creatures every morning that we could. My favorite Caribbean trip to date! I don’t think we’ll ever do an all inclusive again after this experience.

We just got back from a girls trip to Turks and Caicos and stayed at the Beach House. It was luxurious, private, quiet and beautiful. It was everything you could ever want in a tropical paradise. We had the absolute best service from Randall, he went above and beyond the entire time we were there to make sure we had what we needed and saw the things we wanted to see while on the island. Dewayne makes sure things run smoothly and there are too many outstanding people there to name. I would caution you that on Thursdays the entire resort closes at 4:30 (no food and no drinks are available) we just got in and it was raining so the fish fry was a short lived but great alternative for us but definitely not typical of an all inclusive, the breakfast service was also very inconsistent but when the regular staff was there everything was smooth sailing! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience.

Our second trip to the Beach House on Provo. The staff only spends a week with you, but create memories that last a lifetime. The property is strategically placed on a quiet section of Grace Bay. The rooms are very comfortable, but the reserved beach lounges and umbrellas knock it out of the park. You can choose from a long walk, to a swim, to unreal snorkeling just off the beach. Dewayne will assist with your every need, Sherman and Roger will take care of you on the beach, and say hi to Randal making sure the property looks great. They are back from the hurricanes, but still working on the all inclusive items. They go above and beyond asking what you want, so be upfront with the staff. Just remember you are on island time to relax and enjoy! Oh and hit the Fish Fry on Thursday night.
