Beach House Turks and Caicos in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

Beach House Turks and Caicos wants to start a movement – from now on, a boutique hotel should provide unexpected bits of pampering to make a beach holiday totally carefree. It should stock each suite's refrigerator with the guest’s favorite foods. It should be on hand to arrange once-in-a-lifetime diving expeditions to some of the world’s best coral reefs, but remain gracefully unobtrusive to privacy-seekers on the idyllic flour-white sand of Grace Bay. The anything-you-want atmosphere here is why guests keep coming back.

Concoct your own breakfast of fresh-picked pumelos and starfruit to enjoy on your sunny terrace. Listen to the breeze rustle through the sand dunes on your way to a placid turquoise sea. Float and forget time. As the sky goes dark and the stars come out, pop champagne and savor coconut herb mahi-mahi at an oceanfront table for two amid the flickering glow of tiki torches.

The Beach House is a very small resort on Grace Bay that only has 21 rooms and offers a more intimate experience than the big resorts that are just up the beach. The room was large and comfy, but the bed was just ok and the bathroom was rather small. The best element of the room was the balcony that overlooked the beach. Our trip was characterized by inconsistent and mixed weather so it was amazing to have an outdoor spot to avoid the rain but still look at the water. Turndown service was prompt and effective and the resort itself was comfortable and friendly. Breakfast was particularly nice with several options, all particularly well prepared. Dewayne and Jessica were excellent guides who got us reservations at all of the spots we wanted and at the times we requested. They were both knowledgeable and friendly, and the beach staff were always in good humor. Overall, the Beach House was a good choice, and we would return in future years. We hope for better weather next time!

This was a perfect quaint hotel for a "relaxing beach vacation". The entire staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. From the front desk, to the restaurant, to the grounds and beach, every person that was attached to this hotel was amazing. The rooms are situated perfectly with a picturesque walk to the beach via boardwalk surrounded by dunes. The biggest complement we can give is the fact that when we return to Turks & Caicos, it will be to The Beach House. Just wanted to add the staff is not in your face but there when you need anything / the beach is pretty much private / great restaurants on site and with-in a 10-15 minute drive. Taxi suggestion: Sir Charles

The Beach House is paradise on earth, especially because of the great people who run it. Not only is the hotel itself luxury incarnate, but everyone, from Jessica when you arrive (and need chocolates for your daughter at 8PM - she's the BEST) and Dewayne ('Big Love'), to the famous Sherman (Mr. Pamper), Carlton, Randall and Dorthy, and everyone else there, makes it the best vacation experience you can have. not to mention the FOOD and head chef Jason who rocks! When you stay at the Beach House (and we just came home for there), you get to part of a community and a family. Go there and enjoy the best...

People have a lot of great choices of places to stay in Provo. Most all the properties are newer. The beach house excels buy being a smaller property with excellent service. From our first meeting with Carlton we were happily welcomed even though it was late and our flight was 8 hours late. They thoughtfully provided some sandwiches and treats as everything on the island was closed. This type of service was evident though out our stay. Carlton was more like a private butler than an evening housekeeping manager. He was always easy to find and quick to help. He did his best to see that we were taken care of. People like him are rare and I hope the beach house recognizes his hard work! During the day we were taken care of by Sherman on the Beach and Roger who is in charge of the beach toys. Even in the harsh environment everything was in excellent condition, from Paddle boards to kayaks to floats to masks and the Hobie cat. The fact that everything was complimentary was even better. Like Carlton they both excel at their jobs and make you feel welcome. Most everyone there has an upbeat attitude that goes a long way to making your stay special. What would I change?...not much. IF you have a third person staying on the pull out keep in mind the living room could use black out drapes. We closed the shutters and hung towels but it was still pretty light in the am. The breakfast at Kitchen 218 was very good but not really up to the rest of the hotel standards. There are minor things and we plan to visit the Beach House again soon!

This is a lovely, quiet place with a wonderful staff. The four of us were in Driftwood, a one bedroom deluxe ocean front suite on the 2nd floor. It has a large living/dining/kitchen (fridge, microwave, coffee maker) area with a sofa bed, and a OK-sized bedroom and a OK-sized bathroom. We spent most of our time on the lovely large balcony/terrace which has a wonderful view of the sea. The terrace also has a day bed. The beach is right next to the hotel and is lovely: the sea was not too rough; the beach was never crowded and within a 5-minute walk was a wonderful snorkeling spot. Having the beach chairs designated on a room by room basis was nice. The buffet breakfast (included in our package) was nice. One of the best parts of our stay were the wonderful staff members, including Roger, Sherman, Alberto. One very minor negative points: when we first arrived at the hotel, there had been a mix up and they had us staying for 4 nights instead of 5 nights. When they first found the error, the lady at the front desk tried to tell us that we would have to shift to another room for our last night, but then they found a way around the problem, and we stayed in the same room for all 5 nights. Would recommend that you rent a car when landing at the airport. There is more than enough parking at the hotel, and a lot of nice restaurants are a 5-10 minutes’ drive, as are the souvenir shops etc. We never took a cab, but by all accounts, they are ridiculously expensive.
