It's hard to improve on perfection, but The Palms, Turks and Caicos, lauded as Turks and Caicos' top resort, managed to take the island's flour-white sands and tranquil seas and turn them into something even more beautiful. Manicured lawns surround a cluster of British colonial-style buildings made from hand-cut coral, marrying understated luxury with Caribbean coolness.

We recently stayed at The Palms in Turks and Caicos (May 31-June 5) and had a wonderful experience overall. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly located on Grace Bay Beach. Our room, a 2-bedroom suite, was stunning—spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. Kitchen had pretty much everything you would need. Just FYI, beds are firm. The resort grounds are lush and peaceful, and everything from the pool area to the beach setup felt relaxing and well cared for. All of the staff throughout the property were friendly, attentive, and professional. Jonte took such great care of us at the beach, he was the BEST!!! We mainly stayed on the beach, crystal clear water. Sand was super soft and clean. Not crowded. Chairs were always available. If you're looking to snorkel, you would probably need to go to a reef, the ocean floor was so clean that we only saw a few fish occasionally. We loved the in-room dining menu. We loved SiSi's lunch menu. Parallel 23 was good, not great. The location is a bit far to walk to the town area, so you'll need to get a taxi and keep in mind taxis are expensive, the price is per person as other people have posted. We especially enjoyed how easy it was to unwind here. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation and we would definitely return.

This is a current review two days into our vacation. Our room and the grounds are fantastic! The young lady who gave our tour and young man working the pool our first day were so kind and friendly. We can’t speak about the restaurants, but the breakfast buffet is solid. When we checked in, I was immediately told to move my car because shuttles would be coming in. After that another lady who was checking us in had the phone to her ear the entire time and engaged us with passports please. I walked back to my car to get them. They never offered to take care of our luggage. I could have asked, but I’m a stubborn man. I spent 45 minutes hauling our bags, food, and water past the “luxury” restaurant. Out of principle and spite. So…”management” isn’t great.

The Palms community embraces their guests with welcoming arms. It was such a pleasure getting to know their people while also enjoying a beautiful, serene location. Thank you to Jane, Sherrie, and Arlean for a wonderful experience! Want to leave a special shout-out for Jane... she was hands down one of the best parts of our trip! She was a perfect example of how staff value getting to know their customers and building a strong sense of community at The Palms. We will miss starting our days with Jane and her colleagues!
