The Palms, Turks and Caicos in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos
It's hard to improve on perfection, but The Palms, Turks and Caicos, lauded as Turks and Caicos' top resort, managed to take the island's flour-white sands and tranquil seas and turn them into something even more beautiful. Manicured lawns surround a cluster of British colonial-style buildings made from hand-cut coral, marrying understated luxury with Caribbean coolness.
Your ideal day starts underwater: The best diving in the world is just steps from your balcony. A coral reef runs parallel to the island, and in it live manta rays, florescent-hued sea sponges, and almost any type of fish that can swim through your imagination. Suit up, or sign up for a PADI-certified day course. When you come up for air, don't go far! Regent Palms' centerpiece infinity pool winds around wooden decks and luxe sun pods, where you’ll relish tropical fruit kabobs and chilled towels to ward off the equatorial sun. At sunset, feast on fresh crab rolls prepared before your eyes in an open kitchen while feeling the Caribbean breeze live up to its name.

Reviews for The Palms, Turks and Caicos
We just returned from an amazing 4 day stay at the Palms with 6 other couples. The hotel was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at the pool and on gorgeous Grace Bay Beach. The water is the prettiest color blue I have ever seen and the sand is perfectly soft and white. We stayed in a luxurious 2 bedroom Penthouse with 1 of the couples. It was huge and decorated like a show house. The views from the 4 different balconies were unbelievable and we had an extra special outdoor shower just off our bathroom. Our personal butler Frandy was terrific. He had chairs at the beach set up for us, arranged transportation to and from restaurants for all 14 of us and was available for anything else we needed. Most of our friends stayed in Jr suites and they were all very happy with their rooms. The breakfast each day was lovely and included in our room rates. My only small critique of the hotel would be that the fitness center is quite small and outdated. The hotel was not busy, but the cardio equipment would all be taken by 9am. Many of us took advantage of the spa facilities, which are lovely and we all were happy with our massages. The hotel helped us arrange a wonderful sailing/snorkeling trip as well. On our final night we had cocktails for our entire group up in our penthouse and then dinner at Parallel 23. The food and service were wonderful. There was entertainment ( a nice singer named Tess) and we actual danced a bit and many other diners joined us, which was really fun. I don’t know that it happens often there, as it is a pretty quiet restaurant, but the other customers didn’t seem to mind ( hopefully!). Our other dinners were at Stelle at the Gansevoort ( fantastic food!), Seven at Seven Stars ( overall ok) and Coco Bistro ( which is a gorgeous setting and very good food). Most of Providenciales looks like it survived the hurricanes ok. There were a few hotels or homes still doing a few repairs, but overall the island looked great. We could not have been any happier with our stay at the Palms. The staff helped make our special weekend with our best friends go as well as we possibly could have imagined. This was our first visit to Turks and Caicos, but I am sure it won’t be our last.

We had a one bedroom suite which was very spacious and very well appointed. We had a wonderful butler Jerome who was extremely helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to be helpful in every possible way. He would appear out of nowhere to check on us and make sure we were having a good time.. The breakfast is over the top and terrific . The service and staff are very good and friendly. Highly recommend the Palms. The Palms is first class all the way.
This is our second trip to Turks and Caicos. We aren’t the sort to visit the same place twice but we felt like we hadn’t seen enough of the island last time so we returned. We visited other resorts while we were on the island last time (to try out different restaurants). I️ have to admit the Palms has a unique ambience. It’s beautiful and clean. The white stone mimics the beautiful white sand. Perfect location. Right by the beach. Walking distance from the main market and Mr. Groupers. 15-30 min walk on the beach to perfect self snorkeling location (coral gardens). The staff is professional, courteous and helpful. The resort is very kid friendly. Even if by chance you take your eyes off your 20 month toddler...there will be 5 other sets of eyes on her to make sure she is safe. They love kids and are happy to entertain them while you enjoy your breakfast at their beautiful coral stoned patio. Their manager Sreejith runs a smooth, efficient team. Snorkeling equipment is available at the resort free of cost. If you don’t want to spend money on a snorkeling trip, just pick up a pair of flippers, snorkels and walk down to the reef to explore the underwater wonder at your own pace. If you have some cash to spend the concierge desk is happy to help you set up half day snorkeling/dolphin watching boat trips. You can also book it yourself by walking 5 mins on the beach in the direction of ASU restaurant. There is a shack right there that will sign you up. Highlights of the resort: clean rooms with great views, large infinity pool with plenty of shaded area at anytime of the day, bar attached to the pool for adult and kid beverages, bar on the beach to enjoy drinks during sunset/anytime, weekly manager’s event on their ocean front restaurant (drinks, socialize, sunset, beach) kid’s daycare with fun activities like lizard hunting and crafts (free of charge, can leave kids that are potty trained, younger kids can go in and play with their innumerable toys or do crafts with parent around). We did not utilize it but they offer baby sitting services as well. All in all The Palms made our stay at Providenciales wonderful.

I have visited Providenciales seven times in last six years-- the Gansevoort (twice), the Somerset, West Bay Club, Grace Bay Club (three times), and now the Palms. Although I still believe that Grace Bay Club is the best hotel on Grace Bay (see my earlier review), the Palms is truly amazing, and actually surpasses Grace Bay Club in certain areas. The good (Cliff Notes style): 1. Beautiful rooms and resort property. 2. Excellent breakfast—lots of options, including delicious omelets and fresh berries. 3. Great senior management—many thanks to Assistant Manager Sabrina for making our stay so pleasant! 4. Parallel 23, the resort’s high-end restaurant, is now (after some years of mediocrity) quite excellent. 5. Housekeeping was the best that I’ve ever experienced, with a special shout-out to Madeline and Sandra. Area for improvement: 1. Watersports could be run much more efficiently. Ellington and Joseph were EXCEPTIONAL with hobie cats. However, many times a less skilled person manned watersports while they they stationed at the pool or the beach. This needs to change. Overall, an AMAZING place. I will DEF be back!!

My wife and I are annual visitors to TCI and always stay at the Palms. The entire staff does an amazing job. The resort was in great shape and you could hardly tell they just had two major hurricanes hit. Joseph and Arnel who work the beach and pool always make us feel very comfortable and welcome. Angela at the front desk was very helpful with sail and scuba trips. Great resort overall!!
