My wife and I stayed here for our first year anniversary. I will second what other reviews have said regarding the staff, they are amazing! I feel like we became best friends with Michael the bartender, whom also runs karaoke Tuesdays and Thursdays at Danny Buoys across the street. The location is awesome, you literally are right in the middle of everything. If you want to feel secluded and relax, this is an excellent choice. I rarely saw more than a few people at a time. I do agree with the couple of negatives I saw pointed out. The bar does close fairly early at 7pm, but Danny Buoys across the street is open late and very close. Also, it is pretty pricey for what you get amenities wise and not being all inclusive.....very easy to spend close to $200 a day just on drinks.

The Regent Grand is a wonderful hotel. Well appointed, clean rooms with top quality. The location could not be better for all aspects of our stay. The wonderful beach, the serene pool and the village making everything at our fingertips. We loved it

Just got back last week from a great family vacation. We were in 501 with the extra room for our group. Had 6 adults, 1 teenager, and 3 children under 4. This place is outstanding as far as quality and service to guest. Accommodations were unbelievable, words don't do it justice. We had a great time at the pool with the kids, very nice for the young ones to just walk into the pool, splash and play. Michael and the bar not only looked after our adult drink needs but he also looked after and paid special attention to our grand children. They looked forward to talking to him each day. He apparently is a decedent of the Jamaican bobsledding team! LOL. The beach was unbelievable, but we didn't spend enough time their. Jojo made sure we were very well looked after either coming or going onto the beach. The whole staff bends over backwards to make sure you are felt welcome at the Regent! Thank you all for making our 35th anniversary family vacation one for the memory books. We'll be back!

First of all, the property is beautiful. We had the one bedroom suite with balcony pool view, the pool is big and nice, the beach is beautiful, the staff is friendly. So why rate poor? This is a condominium complex, not a resort. The only amenity is a poolside bar that closed at 7pm every day. Any food you order is brought over from The Vix restaurant across the street, this is also where breakfast is served. The developers made a small shopping village with some stores and a few restaurants which are nice but again off property. Again, still why rate poor? Everything on this island is VERY expensive. My wife and I have traveled extensively, and you can get a lot more, just as pretty and nice in many true resorts throughout the Caribbean. For what you spend just for lodging, you could get a suite at Iberostar in Montego Bay, all inclusive, with tons of stuff to do, nice restaurants, drinks, service etc.. If you want to spend a ton to stay at someone's condo, then go for it, but as for me, I'm going somewhere else than Turks and Caicos. One last thing, this will be a plus for many, but not for all; there is absolutely NO SMOKING on the property. I don't just mean the rooms, I mean EVERYWHERE. If you want to enjoy a cigar or if you're a huffer and puffer on those other cancer sticks, you need to go to the area by the parking garage to smoke. That includes the beach. If you can do it and not get caught bully for you. Management will say it's the law, but I know other properties allow it.
