The Tuscany on Grace Bay

The superlative reviews here are all spot-on. My wife and I travelled to T&C for the first time. We had high expectations after reading all about the Tuscany and we were NOT disappointed. The condos are lovely, spacious and well-equipped. The entire grounds are scrupulously cleaned daily. The amenities offered are excellent. The pool is great. -even for lap swimming! The gym is small-ish but has just about everything most vacationers would want from a workout, including a Peloton, 2 treadmills and a complete set of dumbbells/weight machines. The beach is absolutely gorgeous! Grace Beach is well deserving of its international renown. The grounds are accessible, quiet (even when the place was full!). Groceries are easily accessible - suggest renting a car, though! Left-sided driving w/ R-sided steering cars! No stoplights, just roundabouts. Everything here is NYC priced, so be prepared for some sticker shock at the grocery store and the restaurants, but honestly - the quality is worth it. The staff are extremely helpful. Terria and Yolinde were delightful! We’re already booking a return trip!

I miss this place tremendously! It truly lived up to its rating, and that rarely happens when the ratings are ther "Best of the Best". But it truly was. Terria was a gracious general manager and was welcoming and made us feel like we were home. I think the apartment was simply stunning and surpassed my expectations. Can't wait to go back!

The Good: -Yoldine is fabulous! She corresponded with us prior to our arrival via email and was super helpful before and during our stay. -Housekeeping was excellent. -The beach and things like beach, chairs, towels, were always available and plentiful -Our condo was spectacular - great design layout and décor. -Can’t say enough good things about the screened in porch with the stunning view of the ocean. -Every detail at the Tuscany was on point from check-in all the way through to checkout and everything in between -The food at 19th Bar which is in the golf course across the street was excellent.-There’s a grocery store that is 1.2 miles away and takes about 25 minutes to walk there. You can take an E bike, but we weren’t comfortable with driving on the wrong side of the road or with an-ebike so we walked it and it was fine. (Americans, prepare yourselves for sticker shock at the grocery store. For example, a single serve Chobani yogurt was $4.35; a pack of bacon was $14-$18 (but eggs were cheap! $4 for a dozen). Neutral: (depending on personal preference, you may find these to be either good or bad): -no restaurant on site, but there is one literally a few feet away with access from both the beach and the resort and two more restaurants just beyond that one. Tip: Do not be fooled by the restaurant, Flamingo, when they say "smoothies"; what they serve are slushies. Big difference. -The resort always feels nearly empty, which I personally love. There was hardly anyone ever at the pool so it felt like we had the resort all to ourselves. There was no ongoing loud music at the pool like you see at so many other resorts. We found it to be a blessing, but you might prefer more of a party vibe. If so, this is definitely not the resort for you. If you like room service and multiple restaurant choices on site, this is not the resort for you. If you like beautiful views, serene surroundings, and sweet staff, this is definitely the resort for you. The Bad: Absolutely nothing! It was perfect! We will definitely be back.

The new resort staff was not friendly and changed the rate they originally quoted over the phone and by email. Its very disappointing to be misled and overcharged. In addition, there is no beach left at this end of grace bay. We will never stay here again.

Great experience from check in and throughout our visit, we'll be back! First time to TCI and this seemed like the best location on Grace Bay... quiet beach, quiet pool, beautiful, excellent customer service, beautiful space, well maintained, and walking distance to everything we needed.
