Booked this hotel after much research and our second visit to Turks in 2 years. Previously stayed at the Windsong and wanted to try something different even though we had a great experience there. Booked our reservation in late January for a 2 bedroom oceanfront. Requested an upper floor at the time of the booking and again on arrival. Was given the second floor. Also requested a room w/ 2 king beds as I was traveling w/ an adult son w/ special needs. Was given a room w/ 1 king and 2 twins. The room was adequate but the view was really not ocean front. It was an ocean view at best with a small balcony and a horrible sewer stench that made it almost impossible to sit outside and relax. I asked that the pullout couch be ready for us since we weren't accommodated w/ our request of a king bed. It was difficult for our son to sleep on a pull out w/ hard springs and the twin was way too small. It took about 3 nights before the night service got the sofa ready without a phone call. The showers could not be run in both rooms together as we ended up most evenings w/ Luke warm water at best. The washing machine door did not open. The night housekeeper told us how to open the bottom and disconnect the wires to open the door. After numerous calls for it to be fixed, they sent maintenance. After a few minutes he told us it was fixed. We then proceeded to have a very large flood we had to put bowls on the floor to catch the water which was gushing out. Again 2 calls had to be made for service again. We were late leaving for dinner b/c the flood was so bad. We ended up calling a third time and just told them we could no longer wait. The flood was cleaned but the door still would not open. We spent 9 days disconnecting the wires to at least run the bathing suits. Also we were shorted towels. We were given 2 towels for 4 people. We again called down and 3 hours later we still never received them until another call was made. Also the room keys never worked. I can't begin to count how many times I had to trek to the front desk to have the key re-swiped. They said that my phone may have been deactivating it but I kept it away from my cell and credit cards and it still gave us problems. Another disappointment was the concierge. We knew we wanted to eat at 1 of our favorite restaurants and wanted to save it for out last night. They said they would make the reservation for us. Something told me to have my husband call the restaurant the night before to confirm only to find out that it was closed on Sunday, our last day, and the reservation was never made. Luckily Seven took us that evening but it would have been a huge disappointment had our last evening been without a place to eat. The spa was a five star massage. Mala was amazing! The breakfast was very good. Jonne was a good waiter and worked really hard. The beach was beautiful but they never opened the umbrellas at the beach cafe and it did not look welcoming at all. All the other hotels looked so much more inviting. We also had an issue w/ the beach staff but thanks to Charles it was swiftly rectified and thanks to him, he made up for what would have brought my review to a 1. The last day was the first time in 9 days that we were really greeted w/ friendliness and a personal service like what I read in the previous reviews. This was our experience. In comparing West Bay to the Windsong..... I will say this..... West Bay has a more beautiful beach..... but the rest goes to the the Windsong.... we will not return to West Bay again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was awesome the food was amazing and the location was perfect. We wanted a hotel with minimal children and this was it. The pool area was lovely and the beach had the softest sand we had ever felt. We were waited on our entire trip and cannot wait to go back to this resort. If we could have stayed here forever we would have.

3 nights at an Amazing Hotel, the online pictures does it no justice! I would recommend anyone traveling to Turks to stay at the West Bay Club. Hospitality A+ Complimentary Breakfast Delicious. Pool just the right size. Initially I was concerned that we were staying in a Studio instead of an Ocean Front with Balcony, the Studio was perfect balcony was not missed at all. The beach is beautiful. 5 star Hotel! No Complaints!!!!!

I'm so thrilled we made the choice to take our mini break at West Bay Club Turks and Caicos. We really were able to relax, the staff are super friendly, the beach and pool are relaxing, and the resort is wonderfully safe for children, so they can be independent. Aahh, bliss.

If you are looking for a quiet beach get-away, this is the place. Located toward the western end of Grace Bay, West Bay Club sits between two great reefs just feet off one of the best beaches anywhere I have been. Coral Gardens Reef and Smiths Reef. West Bay Club also sits between two fun places to go. Fish Fry (Thursdays) and Somewhere Bar. Both walking distance and both a ton of fun. If that is all you are looking for (plus a decent pool, restaurant and small beach bar) then you will not need a car while staying here. Everywhere else is a hike. We loved it. Complimentary breakfast each morning with a computer printed mini version of the New York Times. Staff was awesome. Everything was made easy for us.
