My wife has always wanted to visit Turks & Caicos. So we -along with 4 couples - splurged and made the trip. From the moment we set foot on the property, we received royal treatment. I am not sure how to spell Katuisca's name, but I sure hope she gets the recognition that's due. She assured me I would have a great room & view, and she was not was amazing. She was also always available to answer questions and give recommendations. Then there was Sonny and my main man Charles...they took customer service to another level. Being a former professional football player, I have been treated well at many establishments but these guys take the cake. Property is small but worth every cent. Beach is beautiful at the resort- soft white sand, clear and sparkling water - perfect for snorkeling, paddle boarding or just soaking up the sun or spotting sting rays!! Can't miss at West Bay Club!

This is a beautiful property at the far end of Grace Bay. It's quiet, relaxing and simply perfect in terms of the hotel itself. We were upgraded to a luxury oceanfront suite and let me say, it was the most beautiful, wonderful, amazing room we have ever had, anywhere on earth. And we travel a lot. And we go to some beautiful places, so this is not a statement I make lightly. The suite was mind-blowing and we enjoyed every minute of our 8-night stay. The pool, the beach, the views from everywhere - stunning. We swam in the pool at all hours (they never close it) and we swam in the ocean at midnight with a full moon and a sky full of stars. The sand is like talc - pure, powdery white. You get a lounge chair or a cabana and relax like you've never relaxed before. This was our second visit here and we will come back again and we will return once more to WBC. Where they suffer is FOOD. The food options are limited, VERY expensive and not good at all. Food service (other than the included breakfast) was very poor. If you have a car and can get off the property, this not a problem. You can shop at the Graceway stores (there's one just up the road, maybe a 5 minute drive) and save time and $$ by making simple meals (and cocktails!) in your room, which we did a lot and enjoyed tremendously. And the restaurants on the island are fantastic, so there's so much to choose from when you want a prepared meal. Mr. Grouper's is our personal favorite. However, if you do not have your own car, you are limited to this property and a few others within walking distance. I recommend "Somewhere" at Coral Gardens which is a 10 minute beach walk to your right as you exit the WBC. Also head there for happy hour and to see the sunset from their tri-level bar and restaurant. You can tell the food options are poor when you can go to any Grace Bay property and see tons of people eating meals at all times of the day - but at WBC, the restaurants are always deserted and the guests actually make jokes about how bad the offerings are. "You only eat here once!" is heard often. Drinks at WBC are extremely over-priced for what you get. Nearby options are better. Or, make your own! The kitchens and kitchenettes in the rooms are excellent! We had a blender and made fantastic rum cocktails ourselves. Fun and much cheaper!!! Again, let me say that this is a fantastic property and we cannot wait to return - but if you won't have a car, consider the food limitations... and know that taxis are expensive here. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WBC managers: PLEASE bring back Joseph and Wolfgang (I know they are at Grace Bay Resort) and get some help with menus and pricing. Also the menus on your website are NOT correct!!! We were so sad to see the few menu items we loved (which are still on the online menus) are no longer actually available (prawns in the coconut shells were my favorite). And the most unique dining experience we've ever had (at Stix) is now gone. Stix menu was SO good and the entire idea was so special - the replacement serves identical food as Noodles (what's the point of that?) and no one is eating there for a reason. If you can address the food issues, this place would be a property guests would NEVER leave!!!

Upon arrival to WBC, we were greeted by the lovely Cathy up front. She's such a gem. Welcoming, happy, and so calming to haggard travelers. We've been to WBC four times and she remembered us which is so nice! She showed us to our beautiful second floor studio and vacation officially began. Our stay was amazing. Charles at the beach...he remembers us each year. He's so welcoming and willing to do whatever is needed to help us out. In the mornings, we had breakfast there at the resort. Kayonn, one of the waitresses...WOW! That woman is amazing! She remembered each day what we took to drink, kept things running smoothly, and always greeted us with a smile! Sunday was her day off and it was very apparent. She keeps things running smoothly and makes everyone feel welcome. Junior and Jonnie are such hard workers too. They've really gained in their confidence and are such hard workers! Management at West Bay Club must be doing something right because when you can keep high quality help, year after year, it says a lot about the leadership at WBC. They probably don't get recognized enough for all they do for West Bay Club, but let me tell you, the staff portrays their leadership well. Things to know about WBC: The beach is the best you'll ever see. The water is crystal clear and the perfect temperature. If you're looking for a party scene, this isn't it. It is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The pool is a great way to end the day. Shaded in the afternoon, it is a great place to relax after a long day in the sun. Breakfast isn't great, but we couldn't complain. They used to have fresh bakery muffins and fresh honey (comb and all) but those two things were missing this year. The fruit was great and so were the English Muffins. That was good enough for us. :) You definitely don't HAVE to rent a car at WBC but plan to spend some money on cab fare if you don't. Cabs run anywhere from $20-$40 depending on how far you want to go. We rented an econo car for the whole week for $275 and that was definitely cheaper than a cab since we like to go somewhere different for dinner each night. The resort is clean, on the best beach in provo, and has the best staff of anywhere we've ever been. Bottom line: My husband and I used to say we'd never travel somewhere twice. After finding WBC, we've never gone anywhere else. That says a LOT.

This hotel is situated in a great location on Grace Bay, the hotel is fairly simple looking at arrival, however the rooms are stunning! Well appointed rooms with refrigerators, washer/dryer units, large bathrooms, and even a wine cooler! The oceanfront views of the beach are breath taking, there are plenty of activities to choose from, or just relaxing under the umbrella on the beach. The one pool is decently sized and family orientated. The only drawbacks are no gift shop on the property, the food was good but took a long time receive, even with only a few at the "restaurant". There were not many choices of dining and the prices were considerably high (understandable due to their reliance on imports). The island is very "Americanized" utilizing U.S currency and 110v outlets. The staff was very warm and friendly, overall we had a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to others.

We were so happy with our stay! We had a three bedroom suite that was incredibly beautiful! The view was breath taking. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Our waitress at breakfast (Cindy) went above and beyond for us. I love to get a Christmas ornament from places we visit. After asking her where I could go to find one she took it upon herself to find not one but two for me. So sweet!! Also, our group was fairly large (12 including our 8 mo old granddaughter) and Jeremy took great care of us out on the beach and lined up our snorkeling adventure with Caicos Dream Tours. It was wonderful! The only down side to our stay was the very noisy beds. Every time you moved it squeaked. A small disappointment compared to how amazing everything else was. We requested a crib, pack n' play and a high chair and all were in great condition and ready in our suite when we arrived. The food was wonderful too. We had a big breakfast everyday and ate dinner there several times. Yes it's an expensive place but all tropical islands are. It was so worth it!!
