Windsong Resort

My wife and I returned to the Windsong with our two kids (3 year old & 8 month old) in August of 2025. This was our eleventh stay at the Windsong! There is nothing like walking in and taking that first sip of the Windsong welcome rum punch!! We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in the penthouse suite in building one. The room and the views are AMAZING. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop deck admiring the views. It is remarkably peaceful at night as well! The management and staff at Windsong are so kind and welcoming. While I have always observed the service to be remarkable, the management continues to add small touches to the service that makes our stay more enjoyable than the last. Mr. Molter and Annette always go out of their way to welcome us back and make sure our stay is perfect! We have made so many good friends here over the years and always love coming back to see them! Our trips would not be the same without the great staff/friends! We love utilizing the beach service for daily rum punches and snacks for the kids, Omar is always the best! This year I took my son out on a Hobie Cat with Kelly driving it and we had an awesome time!! I also rented snorkel gear a few mornings to snorkel the reef early before there was anyone else out and it was amazing as always. Kelly and Larry and the other beach guys were very helpful in helping us get set up on the beach. Alicia helped us out when we needed a last minute babysitter for our youngest who started teething while we were there. We had dinner reservations for later in the evening and she helped us find an incredible nanny that was able to stay with her while we went out to eat. We also enjoy visiting with her and Laverne and the others at the bar when we come back from dinner. Dinner at the dunes is always on our list. The view is spectacular and the food is delicious! We are looking forward to trying the new rooftop restaurant when we return. Because 9 days at the Windsong was not enough (it never is!) we decided we wanted to extend our trip a few more days and the front desk was so accommodating and we were able to keep the room we had been in. We cannot say enough good things about the Windsong. It’s truly our home away from home and can’t wait to return!!

When we first arrived I felt that the lobby was very underwhelming but the friendly staff made up for that quickly. We felt right at home and were allowed to enjoy the beach while we waited for our room. We stayed in the newest building with a partial ocean view. The room was immaculate and feels brand new! Very updated! The service here was top notch with room cleaning daily and even a turn down service at night. The food here is adequate but I wouldn’t say it was great. The coffee is very good! We would 100% stay here again. The beach is beautiful and there is a protected reef right off shore where you can see beautiful fish anytime you want to snorkel. It’s a short taxi ride to shopping and great restaurants!

Firmane is the best server here. If you come here you should suggest her as your server!

Rooms are amazing and it’s just a short walk from the room to the beach. The reef 🪸 is so close and the fish swim right up to you and are beautiful. The hotel has 4 restaurants but only JoJos has attentive staff. For their advertised ‘pasta night’ we made reservations and were seated quickly but the staff took about 10min to get our drink order and food was delivered before our glasses of wine. We also ate at the Pelago rooftop restaurant where the staff again seemed less than happy to be there. We were seated right away and ordered drinks that came out after our salad and again we had to remind the staff we ordered. We asked for the room to be clean but it was not. Fresh towels were not delivered timely and the battery for the door keypad died and we could not enter our room. The butler service (Garry) was amazing only if a special staff was available. Not worth the price and we will shop around more if we return

Each room here comes with a butler and concierge. Every day they will come in and clean your room at night they offer a turndown if you want it. The view are breathtaking. We came 3 years ago. We love to come visit and stay at the windsong. Close to downtown shopping.
