Windsong Resort

What a wonderful resort. We got a swim up room. It was a 1 bedroom with a kitchenette. Perfect for my husband and 14 yr old daughter and I. It was a quick last minute weekend trip and wow did it not disappoint! Gorgeous resort. Our room was amazing especially with the gorgeous pool off of our veranda! The staff here was impeccable - especially Daishca at the front desk. Every time I thought something was impossible, Ms Daishca made it happen (and always with a smile!!!) we will absolutely be back!!

I'm writing this review on the airplane back to the US, that's how impressed we were with the Windsong Resort, and most importantly want anyone looking to know definitively- this is your spot! This is hands down the cutest, most luxury-boutique resort on Turks & Caicos. There is no where else I saw while exploring the island (Ritz, Palms, Beaches, etc.) that could compare to this place. The Bight Coral Reef is literally 20 steps into the water. This is the perfect place for couples, small children, small groups to explore the beauty of the ocean in a calm, controlled environment. Everything you need is provided, you just show up and are in awe of the natural wonder that is Turks & Caicos. WIndsong is like the front door to adventure and relaxation. When you arrive you're surrounded by the lush, beautiful landscaping that carries throughout the entire property. Check-in you are given a delicious welcome drink, and a private butler escorts you personally throughout the resort to give you all the little details and extras you'll need to know when staying... definitely not a "here's your key, elevators to the left" type of mega resort. We stayed in a 1 bedroom oceanfront suite, and I can tell you it was more spectacular that even the photos appear. We just wanted to sit on our balcony forever. The rooms are incredibly spacious, have everything you need: refrigerator, induction stove, robes/slippers, BVLGARI shampoo and conditioner, and the most incredible decor that signals relaxation. Even the TV nightly had all our favorite apps plus live TV from the US (we were watching some playoff basketball!) Everything was clean and modern. We were so surprised at the nightly turndown service. Every meal we had at the resort was delicious, you may choose to not leave at all and can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. We did venture out to other places (SomeWhere Cafe next door was solid) and had good food everywhere we went. Do not miss happy hour and a sunset meal on the rooftop restaurant, Pelago. The Gnocchi was spectacular as was the Hamachi tiradito!! Try those! Wiskey, the bartender will make you incredible cocktails. PRO TIP: do not miss out on the Quick Cuisine on the 4th floor of the new building.. we stayed in that building, so it was such a delight to grab a nice cup of coffee and breakfast in the morning, a 20 second walk from our room. They have a continental breakfast there, but we opted to swap for the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich twice (bacon egg and cheese), unbeliveable..and also the Eggs Benedict... you can swap out the Ham on the Eggs Benedict for avocado, which was the way to go... a poached egg, atop avocado, on a toasted english muffin... please try! On top of all this, the beach is world class.. ranked #1 in the world 10 years in a row... and Windsong provides everything you need: beach chairs, umbrella's, rapid service right from your chair for wonderful margaritas, fish tacos, etc. The floating discs were a hit, along with the stand up paddle boards, sailing in Hobie Cats, and more. Note: you do not have to save a beach chair or fight for anything here. There are ample amounts of beach chairs for all guests..we've been places where as soon as the pool deck or beach opens, people have a mad dash ... this doesn't happen, it's such a breath of fresh air. The major highlight was the accessibility into the snorkeling.. it's just right there. My wife and I would sun bathe, then float in the discs, then snorkel for 20-30 minutes, repeat... we must have snorkeled 4-5 times a day. There are sea turtles right there underwater, and on our last day, on majestic sea turtle decided he wanted to come up for air one foot from me.. I got to see this guy above the water taking air, and then going back down..blown away! We're coming back asap and bringin our three little kids with us next time. I can't thank the staff enough, a very well-run organization. Do not pass this one up!

We had a great stay at the Windsong! Everything was clean and the staff was great! We really enjoyed the rooftop restaurant!

Beautiful beachfront swim up suite. Room is fantastic and you can’t beat the view. The bartender, Whisky, at Pelago was amazing. Fancy drinks made from scratch based off of a few ingredients we gave him. Well balanced and tasted delicious. Ended up ordering a second round they were so good they were Michael Jackson good (a-hee, heeee! shamone-ah!!)

Second time here, will be coming back. The staff is nothing short of amazing and I mean ALL staff. Location is simply fabulous if you want a nice laid back vibe! They have an abundance of restaurants and the breakfast at JoJo’s cafe is pretty sweet. Thank you Windsong!!
