Reviews for Windsong Resort

Terribly disappointing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 21 hours ago

This is our first trip to T+C and the island's waters are incomparable and quite inviting. That must be the primary reason for the popularity of the island as we found much to be mostly dissatisfied. The housekeeping staff was superb and friendly and efficient, but the restaurants, none of which are covered or usable in inclement weather, were mostly unresponsive and indifferent to basic levels of service. In over 40 years of 4- and 5-star travel throughout the world, we've never experienced such consistently poor service. They were essentially unfunctional unless one has tolerance for being ignored throughout every meal, at least until the check is presented and one is incorrectly and obviously overcharged for a meal that should have been mostly comped at their nicest venue. Except for restaurant issues, the resort was pleasant but, for us, we would never consider returning, under any circumstances. I feel strongly that my 3-star rating is very generous, but it is a nice resort. Be forewarned...

If I could give it 10 stars.....

I cannot give enough stars for this resort! The location is perfect. The suite was amazing. They thought of everything. In the bathroom, there were plenty of hooks and towels, a double sink, rain and hand-held showers and bathrobes/slippers to use. The bed was comfortable, lots of closet and drawer space, and a big double sliding door for privacy. The living area had a huge TV and a balcony that was large and comfortably furnished overlooking the pool and ocean. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a washer/dryer. The refrigerator/freezer had a separate drawer with ice (no need to go find any) and a bottle of chilled wine upon our arrival. The grounds are immaculately maintained and every morning the staff puts towels on every chair which there are many of both around the pool and on the beach. Breakfast is included and there are several choices of where to enjoy that, one of which was on the roof overlooking the ocean. The service was wonderful...full of kind, proactive, positive employees who made us feel welcome and well cared for.

Honeymoon 3/2026

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My husband and I just came back from the most beautiful honeymoon spent at Windsong on the Reef in Providenciales in Turks and Caicos. The Windsong is a beautiful boutique hotel where you will find some of the most lovely people in the Caribbean. Our room was perfect. Clean and bright. Well maintained . The food was excellent . One night when dining at the restaurant on the water at the resort we both ordered the fresh sesame crusted tuna. It was probably the best dinner we ever had anywhere! The pool and grounds are spotless . There are Bright colorful flowers and greenery everywhere along with tall swaying palm trees. The color of the sea is spectacular! A stunning bright turquoise! Lounges, umbrellas and towels are provided to all guests. We even snorkled on the reef just a few feet from the beach. We highly recommend the Windsong on the Reef for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing zen vacation. It will not disappoint

Best resort in the Turks and Caicos

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Great experience from check in to departure. Great restaurants especially JoJo's and the rooftop restaurant. Chef Ben at the rooftop restaurant came to every table to assure guest satisfaction and our waitress Firmane made sure our dining experience was perfect. We will be back to this resort for sure

Pretty beach but Not worth it,

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We stayed at the Windsong booking a luxe studio in the "beachfront building." The pictures on the website make it seem like the room looks out on the beach however the fine print says "partial view". Our room had no ocean view unless you stuck your head off the side balcont and the friend's room in the same building smelled like sewage. After much discussion, the manager Annete did move us and upgraded us to a better room which was much appreciated, however the misleading room listings should be updated. The listing also says the beachfront building has "admission to club room and mezanine bar and access to a large rooftop bar - as if this was a special "club" privileges building. There was no club room and the rooftop bar is now a restaurant and everyone has access to it. This needs to be changed on the website. The "breakfast included" is a cup of coffee a tiny croissant and some fruit- this is ridiculous if you say breakfast is included guests expect a real breakfast. Some of the staff are very friendly and some indifferent. The grounds are clean and the beach is beautiful. We did not feel it was worth the price overall.
