We spent an amazing 2 weeks in this resort from June 12th. We had an ocean view one bedroom suite on the second floor over looking Bight Reef. The suite was spacious and the fully stocked kitchen was convenient for lunch or dinner in. The resort is right in front of the reef which is fantastic and easy to access, good for beginner snorkelers and young families, but also with enough variety of sea life to keep advanced snorkelers happy. While snorkeling there we saw giant barracuda, lion fish, turtles, tons of different parrot fish, puffer fish, angel fish, butterfly fish and blue tangs. There's also kayaks, paddle boards and a catamaran for guest use. It is the type of resort you want to stay in if you're looking for a more classy, low key, boutique style stay. The staff is very pleasant and the location is out of this world. Breakfast over looking the beach in the morning is unforgettable.

Just the facts... the staff is top notch, the accomadations are superior and well of course the location and beach views are incredible! The design of the hotel is unique because you can go from your room to the pool or Jojos cafe and the beach seamlessly. The hotel is close to the beach with all the water toys supplied including a Hobie sail boat that if you don't know how to sail the beach staff will go out with you. And lastly, one more word about the staff, we have stayed at many a resort but the Windsong has assembled the friendliest staff we have encountered... end of story 😉

A friend and I just returned from a week's stay at Windsong. The room was beautiful with exceptional views. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The snorkeling outside the hotel was extraordinary. We had excellent food and service at JoJo's Resturant (thank you Samuel and Johnson). The massage at the Drift Spa was the best I have ever had - thank you Maddie!

My family (wife, 7 yr old, 11 month and I) spent a week at the Windsong Resort for a relaxing vacation. The check in process was welcoming with rum punch and cold towels and the orientation about the property informative. We stayed at one of the Garden Room villas and it was very spacious and well done. The in room Kitchen had whatever utensils you needed. They also accommodated a roll out bed and a crib for our son. No issues. The access to the beach is immediate, walk a few steps down the back and you are there, 15 feet in to that beautiful Caribbean water. They have hotel employees providing all the beach towels, water sport equipment (complimentary from hotel), and you have to find an open spot with beach chairs and cabanas. We never had too much of an issue although I would recommend getting your spot early. The only thing I didn't quite understand when I booked this property is how much rock there is around the beach. I know it says "on the reef"in title but we had to be careful choosing our spots to play in the water. If you are planning to stay here for that open, white sandy beach with clear water, walk up the beach a half mile and you have plenty of room. BUT The big advantage to Windsong is they have a protected reef that attracts a lot of snorkelers 45 feet into the water. For my 7 year old, this was a great activity with me every day. For my 11 month old we camped out a lot at the pool, and it was just fine for us too. They have an in house restaurant (Jo Jos Cafe/ Dune) for the tables overlooking the beach- I recommend getting one every morning for the view. We got the complimentary breakfast as part of the deal and I thought it was delicious and plenty for us in the morning. It is no frills with oatmeal, fruit and bagel/English muffin so if you want pancakes and eggs that will be extra. We ate at the restaurant (Dune) a couple nights and I had the grouper and other seafood. I shouldn't surprised that the meal was that tasty but I was. I would recommend it a couple nights. We did venture out to a couple other restaurants but with the exception of a great dinner at Coco Bistro, the Dune was just as good. Last point to mention is if you are a coffee or lunch/brunch fan, take a 200 foot walk down the beach to Somewhere Cafe, we went there the last day and we regret not going there earlier in our stay. NOTE: We did go to the grocery store one day ($8 per person shuttle) and got supplies but really for quick salads and snacks and bottled water. Like many things here, food and water will cost you as it is mostly imported and there is a 12% service tax on everything. Also budget that if you do go anywhere the shuttle will be a $40 round trip average to go off property. Overall, service was great. The staff was attentive to our needs and they cared. A smile goes a long way with anybody and they accommodated whatever we needed.

We just returned from a 10 night stay at windsong There are a lot of really positive reviews here so I won't repeat but the proximity to the small reef, friendly staff and room accommodations are all reasons to stay here. It is really the best easy access to relaxed beach activities in the island. We swam with turtles, barracuda and sting rays every day! I highly recommend the Friday night Caribbean barbecue that the restaurant puts on. The food was very good compared to their regular menu and it was a fun event The activity guys at the beach are awesome. Jeff does an amazing job ensuring you know where to find the turtles, lending you the equipment and treating everyone like they are his best friend. He really goes out of his way to make sure everyone is having fun and being safe. A note to future snorkelers: stay out of the protected reef. These guys spend half their day whistling and flagging people to get out of the roped off area. A special shout out to the butler randy as well. He does as excellent job making sure you have all of the information you need and will arrange just about any event for you My only suggestion to the resort is to invest in some furniture pads for all of the chairs in the rooms. The floors are tiled and you constantly hear the dragging of chairs in adjacent and overhead rooms throughout the day and night. It's hard to sneak in a midday nap or go to bed early for an early morning activity with the constant dragging noise Thanks for the great vacation Windsong!
