My family of four (children ages 8 and 5) thoroughly enjoyed our 5-day stay at Windsong. The two-bedroom oceanview room was clean, modern, and perfect for us. There is great snorkeling right there at Windsong. We saw barracuda, sea turtles, groupers, and many other kinds of fish right there at Windsong. If we were to ever go back to Turks, we would definitely come back to Windsong.

Super nice resort stay! It was our first time in Turks and Caicos. Upon check-in, we were met by the 'butler' who gave us an orientation to the hotel amenities and our suite, including how the shower works :). He is also your go-to person for arranging any tours, dining reservations, or rental cars, etc. (Very nice - and complimentary - personal touch). We got what we wanted: cozy residential feel, small-medium facility, just enough amenities, not mass/corporate feel (of a Beaches or Club Med), in-suite kitchen that gave us the independence and money savings of food prep for picky eaters.

As great as our previous 2 stays at Windsong. The service, staff attention, and cleanliness continue to be amazing. Starting with Kahlil, our butler (no, not our private butler) who was nice enough to leave us a bottle of champagne for our 3rd visit. Jeff (Lucky) and Carlton the beach guys. Jeff took us sailing, and Carlton was there to respond to our every request. If you are fortunate enough to check in when Max is on duty, you realize you are in a special place. Annette, the General Manager makes a point of stopping by just to chat and ask if we are OK. Even the woman who was dusting the check-in area took the time to ask if there was anything we needed and if we were enjoying our stay. Met great new friends and just decompressed. Walk-out, swim to a beautiful reef and then lounge with a drink, all within 100 yards Did I mention it is the cleanest hotel/resort I have ever stayed at? It's getting a little expensive, so we hope to be able to do it again next year.

We usually stay at the Gansevoort but it was fully booked so decided to stay at Windsong as it was close to the Gansevoort beach. Unfortunately we were not able to get a room with a balcony so it made the experience not great for me. Most times, after excursions and dinner we go back to relax on our balcony to unwind but were not able to do that. Food was mediocre, we were lucky to go to Somewhere Cafe & Gansevoort for breakfast and lunch everyday and we made dinner rsvp at other restaurants on the island. This is our 5th time to Turks so we are pretty familiar where to eat / drink. Thank goodness you can walk a few feet over to enjoy the beach as our chairs were literally in the water or people walking right by. the shore line is very narrow compared to other hotels. There is a lot of traffic as one of the reefs are there for folks snorkeling, we always hear the whistle every 15mins as people would snorkel inside the prohibited area. Lessons learned, book earlier to get a better room. The room rates during this time was not different that Gansevoort. Service was just OK and no one was really looking to make any tips or your stay special.

Booking through Costco Travel. Easy peasy. Good communication with the travel agency via email. Prearranged airport transfers. All inclusive meal plan. Excellent accommodations. The Windsong resort is great for a relaxing laid back vacation. Amenities were excellent, pool, watersports, private beach, concierge service, personal butler. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Only 53 rooms meant not a lot of noise and staff were clearly attentive to our needs. The restaurant service was slow at times but its island time and we learned to appreciate slowing down and relaxing unlike visiting the restaurants at home in NC. There is a protected reef to explore right off the resort beach, saw sea turtles, rays, parrot fish, octopus, conch, sand dollars, etc. We had a memorable experience and will return next year. Costco chose well as Windsong was one of their exclusive offers.
