Windsong Resort

We are now in our 6th year of visiting the Windsong On the Reef. We were originally looking for a small boutique hotel/resort that was family friendly but not fully geared to kids, and that had nice pools and a nice beach and easy access to snorkeling. 6 years later, the Windsong continues to fulfill this wishlist and more...! We love the massive 2-bedroom fully equipped ocean-view apartment we stay in, a welcome break from our small NYC apartment, and our growing kids are still perfectly happy with the provided activities like paddle boards, sand toys, and snorkel gear. We also travel with grandparents and we see many other multi-generational families traveling here too as it provides spaces that are appropriate for all ages. The prime location means easy access to the beautiful snorkel reef and also an easy walk down the beach for a dinner out at nearby resorts for a change of pace. But most of all, we have found a family in the staff who know our kids' names and ages and who greet us all with warm hugs year after year. The Windsong is a gem and truly our home away from home.

My wife and I had a wonderful week at the Windsong! Upon arrival, we were surprised to get a suite upgrade by very helpful front desk staff. The suite exceeded our expectations. The room was kept very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the kitchen and washer/dryer. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the large shower. The pool, outdoor lounge areas, beach and ocean were a real treat. We also took advantage of the equipment available for use in the ocean. The outdoor staff were very helpful and personable. The food and food staff were wonderful. We really enjoyed the meals, and the beachside dining was a nice touch. It was nice to get to know Chef Lulu and get updates on the food plans. We also enjoyed getting to know Carmen since she filled in as barista while we were there. We loved all the bakery items - delicious! We were always greeted with a huge smile and a desire to provide good service by all the food staff. Finally, the butlers were always willing to help with excursions and suggestions. Garey and Raheam answered all our questions and genuinely cared about making our stay the best it could be.

Definitely recommend. The room was great, the grounds were beautiful / staff was super attentive and lovely - shoutout to Venel & Raush at the beach. The only downside is that beach is narrow so when the tide cones up there’s only one row of chairs up against the fence line, not a huge beach. We loved it and would definitely go back

I would never book or stay here. Due to the current airline issue my flight was canceled. The resort would not refund any money and only offered to change my room by a couple of weeks. As none of us know when the government will open back up so that won’t work. I would never book here. Too much competition to use them again and take a chance. If the customer service is this bad before I get there I wouldn’t chance it once I get there.

We stayed at Windsong 10/23 - 10/31. As always, the Windsong staff exceeded our expectations. A highlight of our visit was the dinner Chef Lulu and his team prepared for us on our rooftop patio. His menu was creative and perfectly prepared - he is obviously passionate about food!
