Wonderful Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

From check in to check out, our stay was very enjoyable! Our room was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Service was excellent as was daily complimentary breakfast. Chris and his staff exceeded our expectations, referring us to fine local restaurants, shops and services. We had a great time in Provincetown and will certainly stay at the Crowne Pointe Inn on our next visit.

The Crowne Pointe does not disappoint!

We have stayed here several times (in the off season) and have always had impeccable service and great accommodations (prefer the suites, but you'll need to book early!). Although we haven't attended, they offer an evening wine social, which is a great option after a weary day of travel. The location is great (with a spectacular view of the Pilgrim Monument) and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. The staff is the friendliest around and always aim to please. The complimentary breakfast is made to order and consistently delicious with a great variety to choose from. We always make it a point to enjoy at least one dinner in the intimate restaurant there, as the food is scrumptious and always fresh (I believe they are farm to table). They also have a small pool (watch out for the alligator) and a hot tub in the courtyard. The spa is reportedly fabulous, but we have yet to try - usually because they are booked! Read up on the history and the ghost stories too - you won't be disappointed.

Perfect location! Great food!

Location is great for all the sites in Provincetown. We walked into town often. Other sites include the Province Lands, a short beautiful drive away. This Inn is very unique. The breakfast that was included in our hotel price was amazing! Wonderful dining area with lots to choose from for food PLUS they cook a breakfast to order! Also they include in the room price a wine hour with crackers and cheese. We do not drink, but we stopped in anyway. The bed (queen) felt small for us (used to a King) and that was the only drawback to the room. Staff was amazing! Thanks all!

Sweet Spot!

We loved the friendly staff, the sweet secluded courtyard, the wine and cheese offerings in the early evening, the made to order breakfasts, and the awesome location! We definitely recommend the Crowne Pointe, and we hope to stay there again soon!

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We've stayed here several times, although it had a been a few years since our last visit. Now it has new owners (a corporation bought it). Boy, it showed -- in a bad way. We booked an Executive Suite, which was smaller than our last Exec room, but no big deal. Three nights. What WAS a big deal are the following: The Spa was closed! What?? Huge carpenter ants in the room. Gross, creepy. Poor maid service. We put the Please Make Up Room sign outside the door. They emptied wastebaskets and gave us clean towels (which were scratchy), but never changed the sheets! The in-room coffee sucked. They have an on-premise restaurant, which is quite good, although breakfast was skimpy and only offered white bread toast. A nice touch is the fireplace, but for some reason it was inoperable on our 3rd nite. We should have complained, but we knew we were outta there the next am, so didn't bother. Their 5 pm wine and cheese hour is always welcome after a day of tooling around town, and we met some great people. We told a couple that we'd see them at breakfast the next morning, but instead we got up, packed, and left asap. Such a disappointment. We'll certainly go back to P-Town for future getaways, but clearly need to find a new place. Hope this helps.
