We came across from the Brazilian side to go to the casino. It wasn’t the most lively casino I’ve ever been in but we had a good time and on the whole it was a nice casino. You get a free drink on arrival and a voucher which you can only use on certain machines. They don’t have an ATM or facilities to change currency so I would recommend taking cash with you. There is a smoking slot room and they have most of the major tables.

I paid about US $300+/night for 2 nights in March 2018 for a room with two queen beds (2 adults + 2 children) The Good: - Appearance of the hotel is very nice - They actually gave us a suite (with one extra half-bath and two extra beds) - Restaurant was decent - Very nice garden and pool area although nobody was using it. The bad: - The entire hotel suite only had *ONE* usable outlet, in the Master Bath. May I remind the hotel mgmt that this is 2018 and not 1960? - Poor design of shower area (and tub) causes water to spill onto bathroom floor whenever you take a shower - Very few clothes holders and towell racks in bathroom The ugly - On our second night we started to hear a loud high pitched noise in our room. Really loud. Upon notifying front desk, they sent a guy who came with a ladder and some lubricant spray to spray into the A/C equipement. This caused the sound to go away. But the sound AGAIN started in the middle of the night and continued on. I really could not sleep. Conclusion: - NOT ACCEPTABLE for a hotel this expensive to have such poor room design.

Hotel was very high end. Room was huge and well appointed. Travel service (Trendy Travel) on the property to arrange transfers from the Airport and to the National Park. Cost of the transfers was very reasonable. Breakfast was included with our room and was served until 1030 so plenty of time to sleep in. Bed was a little hard but we slept well. Staff was very helpful and service was outstanding. Hotel pool (actually a series of 4 pools) was very inviting and clean. We did not visit the Casino.

Located just outside of town, and right across the bridge from Brazil, this hotel offers nice rooms, a beautiful courtyard with swimming pools for all ages, and both a casino and club on site for those looking for some excitement at night. Highly recommend taking a break by the pool - whether to recover or prepare for the falls, it definitely hits the spot
