Another great time at Desire Pearl starting with check-in . Ivan was our concierge and we breezed through with minimum delay and a very warm welcome. We met Victor years ago and now he greeted us at the door and he was quick and friendly getting us settled into our rooms. Carmen, Wilbert, Gabriella and Esmeralda always greeted us with a smile and great service in the restaurant. Victor and Antonio took great pains to make us comfortable at the pool and it was much appreciated. Candace and Bella kept the games going and it was great fun. Juan was always ready at the lobby bar for my new favorite drink, a Suero. I never met Tomasa but our room was always perfect. After many trips to Pearl we decided for the first time to have a massage with Fernando and Emma and they were great. We can't wait until we are able to return.

Tom and I spent another great week at The Pearl in the first week in December. Our butlers in the mansion, Michelle, Irving and Amir took care of all our needs. Carlos, Hector and Erick also checked in with us to make sure we didn't need any assistance. Bellman Alex and Vincent took great care of us on arrival and departure. The food and service at the resaurants was top shelf, as usual. We were taken care of at Aphrodite during the day by Jose, Carmen, Poot, Edilberto, Wilberto, Oliverio, Servando, Esmeralda and Belen. At night Ceci is still the best manager with waiters Eme, Juan, Felipe and Daniel taking great care of us. Carlos and Felipe took care of room service efficiently. The unsung heroes in the kitchen, Perlita, Mario, Karlita, Griselda, Jose Manuel, Octavio, Manuel Jesus, Erick Maldonado, Marleni, Alexis, Michel and Vanessa do a fabulous job. At The Pearl, the staff, Santiago, Orlando, Daniel, Raul, Javier, Gema and Gilberto make dinner a wonderful experience. The staff at Suki always make you feel special with waiters Isaac and Rey. The bartenders are great multitaskers and keep the drinks coming! This trip we were served by Juan, Eddy, Jairo, Luis, Pedro, Christian, Eduardo, Antonio, Saoul and Gabriel. The pool is the center of activity during the day and Victor, Horatio, Antonio and Miguel do a great job setting you up. The playmakers, especially Kia and Candace work hard keeping everyone involved and Alex is a great DJ. Gabriela, Oliver and Abraham take care of your food and drink needs during the day around the pool. The spa is the best place to be pampered and the staff, Rebeca, Sandy, Zazil, Emma, Elodia, Jesus, Jaziel, Selene, Gabriel, Fernando, Veronica, Gabriela, Desiree, Estefania and Karina provide great services. We think a large part of the quality of the staff stems from the top - Laura Gutierrez, the resident manager. She is visible, knows the employees and as with ourselves knows many of the guests!! We always look forward to visiting this jewel on the Mayan RIviera. While the beach is rather forgettable as it has eroded due to storms and is currently visited by seaweed, the resort itself is memorable. Excellent food and service in all 3 restaurants. The playmakers tend to change frequently but a few have stayed, and it is always good to see their friendly faces (Kia, Bella, Sam, & Candice). Highly recommend the Master Suite, as it has 2 bathrooms. Daily room neatening and turn down service. Room service is available, with Oscar bringing coffee every morning! I think one of Pearl’s assets is the dedicated employees who truly make guests feel welcome and that Pearl is their home away from home. Hopefully those friendly faces will continue to be there in the future as we are quite fond of Yolanda and Gabriella (pool waiters), Alex the bellman, Hector and Irving the butlers, Manuela the lady who kept our room neat, Eddy, Cobb, and all the bartenders, Carmen in Aphrodite, and Guillermo in Pearl. Yes, we have 2 more return visits booked!

We love Pearl and all the staff! Playmakers go out of their way to make you feel sexy and young. Always showing us a great time and getting us involved in the activities! Kia, Sam, Bella, Felix, Sailin, John, Alejandra, Candice and Shirley are the best playmakers! 5 star for them all! Michelle and Iran were our butlers and they always were making sure that we have everything we needed! Top notch staff! The resort manager, Laura Gutiérrez-Sierra is glue that keeps the resort running smoothly! She is behind the scenes making sure that everything is fun and running smoothly! Best in the business! Amazing place. the food, Service, Entertainment and Atmosphere are all aligned to give you the best experience ever. We love it for fun time we spent together and all the fantastic service. • The rooms are spacious and very comfortable • The pool is clean and big • The drinks are top shelf, no other kind allowed • The activity employees are beautiful and fun. They will keep you moving and having fun all day long. The activity employees that made all the difference for us are; KIA, SAM, BELLA, SHIRLEY, CANDICE, ALEJANDRA, JOHN, SAILIN, and FELIX. Tehy all did an awesome job, we love them all. • The butlers are amazing and always there to serve you. Our Buttlers, Erick and Amir were exceptional, they were always there evey time to make sure we had everything we needed. • The food is always top notch - Aphrodite's employees were fantastic. The all made our dinner and breakfast experiance very special. • We have booked the resort for September of this year, and we will be booking twice for next year . Our Bell Boy, Vincent was just incredible, we had 5 bags with us, and he handled everything with profissionalism.
