Heavy construction on the beach
I was very disappointed to discover heavy construction directly on the beach during our stay. Two large excavators and trucks were working right in front of the guest area, creating loud noise throughout the day. This was not mentioned anywhere on the resort’s website or booking information. When you come to a luxury resort expecting peace and ocean sounds, hearing machinery and construction instead is quite upsetting. I understand that maintenance and improvements are sometimes necessary, but guests deserve transparency so they can plan their vacations accordingly.

Terrible experience to cancel reservation. Went through numerous people. Emails still getting charged. Need clarity on website.

You won't be disappointed
My wife and I decided to celebrate our 40-year anniversary at Garza Blanca on the recommendation of a friend (who travels all over the world and said this was her favorite place) and we were not disappointed! The accommodations and staff are first-class. You can tell that a lot of thought and care was put into the quality of everything and the training of the staff - speaking of which, a big shout out to Jorge, Mario, and Alexis at the Blanca Blue; best place to have breakfast!

Wonderful trip
Garza Blanca was fantastic! The staff was so kind and accommodating, especially Erika, Arturo, and Mariana. The food was fantastic and the ambiance was perfect. Such a relaxing trip.

Declined quality
1: Ordered salad for room service; received no utensils no forks; they said they'll send some up; it never arrived. 2: Called twice to report the water leakage in the shower, water being wasted and the sound of dripping water unsettling; they never came to fix it. 3: Called for taxi in tour four; it never arrived; they forgot all about it and we almost missed our reservation. 4: Rowdy neighbors. 5: The patio door would not open, they came and fix it; hopefully it will work tomorrow. Been coming to this wonderful hotel for past 10 years and unfortunately this will be our last time.
