Reviews for Luxury Residences at Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa
We were a small group booked for a couple of nights. We are spread out, up on the hillside, all in separate high-rise towers. Have to use a trolley-bus to get to/from our rooms and it pouring down! Needless to say, got wet going to my room (Tower 5) so it's the first thing to not impress me! Lovely gardens, but it's too spread out and maybe you can walk down to the Lobby, but not back up! Also, if you like being on the water, overlooking the Pacific, great, but I like to hear the surf , so no chance of that up on the hill! The room was very large, well appointed, large bathroom, with separate bath and enormous balcony, complete with hammock! Why sit in a hammock and look at distant water! I feel this resort is only good for those not wanting to do much and staying longer... not us! I want to see something of this part of Mexico. I had access in my room to WIFI, most of the group didn't! Resort is full board (all meals) plus amenities for water activities ... just like a cruise ship! Am sure guests never leave the place, once they arrive! We returned from an outing the next day, to find my room was not made up and I was not the only one! Housekeeping issue, I think. Again, because of the size of this resort, it's too big... so that means poorer service! Also, even though empty tables at dinner and we hadn't booked, it took great effort for staff to agree to seat us, provided we (8) out by 9pm! How would we know about booking, when no one bother to inform us! Finally, the porters are less than efficient, in the end, they caused a 45min delay on departure .. not good!

Upon arrival we were greeted by our personal butler Alfredo Jimencz who made our vacation the paradise we sought. He was on top of everything we needed and made suggestions that were spot on. We stayed in Tower 5 which had 2 bedrooms and overlooked the ocean. The sky was blue, the ocean was blue, and the pool was blue! My favorite color! Alfredo suggested we have a chef come in and cook for us since my husband and I were celebrating our 32 anniversary and our friends were celebrating their 47th anniversary. Little did we know that there were more people cooking and serving us than the 4 of us. The food was very delicious and made to perfection. Once again Alfredo made the right call. Kudos to Garza Blanca for Alfredo Jimencz. All our needs were met, the cleaning staff was invisible, our place was always cleaned by them, every employee greeted us with a hand held over their hearts and a welcome smile. I will recommend this to everyone who plans a trip to Mexico.

The best hotel I have ever stayed. Very high standard. Set in a beautiful location with wonderful views of the ocean and Puerto Vallarta. Breakfast good selection. The rooms huge and very comfortable.

I can’t say enough great things about this resort! The staff and service is like no other and is top notch in every way. I am ready to book the next trip to Garza and I just left last week! The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious and the room was so comfortable! It was such a nice relaxing property and kept so nice and clean. We did the Kayaking, the snorkeling, the 2.5 hike and the spa. All great features of the resort in addition to just poolside service. Every encounter and experience we had was wonderful here and I would recommend to all! Job well done Garza, job well done!

I have travelled all over the world and this was the best hotel and resort I have stayed at. The 2 bedroom was huge, the master suite was beautiful with a steam shower and Jacuzzi. The food was nothing short of amazing; one of the best steaks and deserts, the sushi was terrific, room service was fast and feiendly. The spa was amazing and incredibly relaxing. The pools were fantastic and property was beautiful. Staff was attentive, polite and helpful.
