Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway

My husband and I have always been a fan of smaller venues in general, and Villa Premiere proves our point as to why. If you want the typical AI resort experience with loud music, shows every night, constant entertainment, then go elsewhere. This place was the exact vibe we wanted for our anniversary trip; from the music to the ambiance to the the people, it was super chill and perfect. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a glass of champagne, cool towel and 5-minute chair massage, which all set the tone. Tammy, our concierge, is a Canadian ex-pat who could not have been more attentive, giving us the grand tour and, every time she saw us afterward, made it a point to see if we needed anything. Room: We had a basic room which was fine for our needs, because the fact that every room has an ocean view was way more important to us. There were no loud guests ... again, always quiet and peaceful. And watching the sunsets every night (either from the room, pool or beach) was unforgettable. Food: Not a buffet in sight. There are only three restaurants, all menu-based, plus service by the pool during the day. The food, cocktails and house wine were excellent compared to other resorts we've stayed. But if you want something different, you also have the option of walking down to the Malecon/Boardwalk/main drag just minutes away. Pool/Beach: We took advantage of both. The pool chairs fill up fast so you have to kind of be an early riser to snag yours, or wait for some to come open later in the day. (But that seems to be a typical "problem" at any resort.) Staff: Speaking of the pool ... The people are what make this place what it is, and Paul is at the top of that list. I truly believe he is one of the main reasons people both try this place and come back. He is mentioned in virtually every good review of VP, and for good reason. He moves umbrellas, he books massages, he brings everyone popsicles, he stops by to tell a joke, he chats and gets to know every guest. Everyone needs a Paul in their lives. Everyone else was equally fantastic: Cesar (the restaurant manager and "The Face" ... IYKYK), servers and bartenders (Edgar, Noel, Jorge, Javier, Adan, Hugo, Diana, Alejandro, Enrique, Alberto), our housekeeper Aida, Lourdes at Guest Services who recommended fantastic restaurants, and Antonella in Marketing with whom we had a lovely breakfast with such interesting conversation. Again, we love that the place is small enough to know these guys' names and make connections with them. Spa: We treated ourselves to a massage and so glad we did. Sofia and Diana were excellent and we felt so pampered and incredible afterward. Overall, we highly recommend and we hope to return someday.

Peaceful and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. Great for a romantic getaway. Food and drinks were 5 stars! 10/10 recommend.

Villa Premier has been an awesome experience for us to celebrate our 29th anniversary. Food is great, room is very comfortable, views are fantastic, and the entire staff has been very attentive from room service to restaurants to poolside. Paul, our 'personal' assistant @ pool is wonderful & makes this experience even better. He's fantastic! Can't wait to come back next year!

Is there a decent Hawaiian place nearby? 10 out of 10 would definitely go again. We did the all-inclusive for our honeymoon and we're very pleased. The food was much better than we had expected, and we thought it was going to be good. Our room was phenomenal (we stayed in both the honeymoon suite for part of the time and the master suite for the latter half of our honeymoon). All of the staff was very friendly. The resort is small and quiet, which is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Not a big party atmosphere, which we absolutely loved. Every aspect of the hotel was wonderful, and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful resort woth amazing staff. Paul at the pool is exceptional. The food is incredible at all the restaurants. Super comfortable beds and air conditioned rooms
