The hotel is beautiful, all ocean front rooms, nicely remodeled Location is perfect, close to downtown. Great for large group b/c flexible plans of all-inclusive or not.If you book an event get everything in writing and carefully read all details before signing the contract. Staff is very friendly and the food is great quality. They did a beautiful job for our rehearsal event on the jetty. The technology for booking online can be challenging.

I would like to give this hotel a better review mainly because the staff (with a couple of exceptions) are wonderful and do their utmost to make your holiday perfect. However, having stayed for a couple of weeks there are issues, some of which have been noted by previous reviewers. First of all here are the positives: - Location is great, we stayed at Secrets last year and being nearer to downtown this year was a plus. - The hotel is generally much quieter than Secrets with fewer large and noisy groups. However, one irritation was contant background music at every meal time and around the pool all day. What's so bad about peace and quiet or just listening to the ocean? - Staff go out of their way to be helpful and were always very friendly. And now the negatives: - There is a general feeling of cost cutting or scrimping. Bed linen was scruffy, tablecloths in the restaurants were holed and frayed, not something we expected of a 5-star hotel. - Room cleaning and fridge stocking was hit and miss, sometimes it was good sometimes it wasn't, sometimes it simply didn't happen. Sometimes it happened when you least expected it such as coming to turn down our bed at 6 pm when we had just got back to the room from a day out. - Bar - drinks were watered down, either that or they are parsimonious with the alcohol and generous with cheaper ingredients. I thought I had lost my sense of taste until I had a "proper" margarita in town. They ran out of coasters on day one and we never saw them again so every drink dribbled condensation all over the bar (and then us). Re-stocking was erratic at best - you could never be sure of getting the same drink two nights running. - Food was generally poor. I note that other reviewers have praised the food, well I'm sorry but they must have very low standards. This was all style over substance with over cooked and mediocre dishes being presented with a flourish as if it was fine dining. It wasn't. We stayed for two weeks on an all-inclusive basis; firstly, there is simply not enough choice to not repeat meals over 14 days but the worst was having every dish over complicated without adding any flavour. On the plus side, during our stay they introduced a new menu and new chef at Murales and that was a huge improvement. However, with a limited menu we couldn't eat there every evening so we took to eating out (at La Barracuda, 5 minutes down the beach) to get authentic and tasty Mexican cuisine. - And then there's breakfast! How is it possible that it can take so long to order, prepare and bring a couple of simple plates of food. I would be asked 3 or 4 times what I wanted to drink, I would give the same reply each time to a different waiter but still it took half an hour to get anything. Breakfast was impossible in under an hour to the point that on one occasion we lost the will to live and walked out without eating. I started to dread the hassle at the start of each day and again, despite being all-inclusive, ate out as it was just easier and less stressful. I feel we had a great holiday despite all this but I would recommend anyone coming to skip all-inclusive and eat at Vallarta's great restaurants. Alternatively skip Villa Premiere completely and stay at many of the other great paces in town until they sort themselves out.

What a place! I travel a lot and it is by far the finest Hotel/restaurants that I have ever stayed! Not only is it gorgeous and right on the beach but the hospitality is first class! Within moments of arrival, I was given a cold glass of champagne and a 10 minute massage while I waited for them to put my personal preference of pillow in the room. Yes, they give you a pillow menu and you get to choose your softness and scent. I felt like a queen! I was here alone on business and took the inclusive plan and I was not disappointed. The three restaurants offer a variety of delicious foods beautifully prepared and a big selection of drinks and wine. There is a fun swim up bar and tasteful music playing throughout the day but it is not a loud party hearty place, it is very classy. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back!

Ten days at a hotel where everyone we met was there for their second, fifth, tenth time! We now know why. The hotel is lovely, clean, well-maintained, with super "extras" like coffee and the BEST shortbread cookies in the lobby in the morning, and chocolate on your pillow at night. But, above all, the staff is warm, friendly and so very attentive, they truly make this a special place. And the food! We did not do an all inclusive package, as PV has so many terrific restaurants, but we had one of each meal, and bar snacks, all of which were fresh and delicious. The poolside bartenders make not only delicious drinks, but there is a roving bar-cart with designer cocktails at your service! The beach is lovely and clean, and, while the hotel with all of its wonderful ambience is a go-to haven itself, only steps outside the door is Puerto Vallarta centro, with all of its charm (and, ok, touristy-ness!). We had whale-watching from our balcony the first days we were there... it really doesn't get better than this!

This was our second time and it won't be our last. Great, small resort for adults. The location can't be beat, you can explore the city and all of it's GREAT restaurants. PV is a foodie paradise! We don't go all-inclusive because there are so many great places within walking distance.
