Hyatt Pune

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Hyatt (Room No: 1641, King Size Pool View). The room provided was far below expectations and did not meet the standards associated with the Hyatt brand. In fact, even 2- and 3-star hotels offer better rooms than what we experienced. The property itself appeared poorly maintained and lacked the ambience of a true 5-star establishment. This was particularly disheartening as we had booked the stay to celebrate a special occasion. We had also placed a special request for anniversary room décor. Unfortunately, this was not reflected in your system, with the explanation being that our booking was made through a third party (Agoda.com). While the request was eventually accepted, the execution was extremely disappointing. The décor consisted of only four balloons and a cloth sheet with “Happy Anniversary” written on it—without flowers, thoughtful arrangements, or any effort to make the occasion memorable. Complimentary services should not be treated as mere formalities; if the hotel is unable to provide meaningful décor, it would be better to decline rather than deliver something that feels insulting. Moreover, despite informing staff that we were celebrating our anniversary, there was no courtesy extended—no greeting, no acknowledgment, and certainly no celebratory gesture such as a cake. Even restaurants today show more warmth and hospitality when they learn of a guest’s special occasion. The only positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast buffet the following morning, where the staff displayed genuine hospitality. Overall, this experience was a major disappointment. I will not consider Hyatt for future stays and cannot recommend it to others. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving room quality, property maintenance, and guest experience for special occasions.

Our second stay here in 2025! Hyatt Pune usually works for us as it is close to all the hotspots in Pune, the coolest pubs and restaurants. Rooms - Pretty small, but neat and clean with a comfortable bed and all amenities that one would expect from a 5 star property. Perfect for Business travellers and couples, but might be too small and cramped for families with kids! Service - the staff especially at the restaurants, is very helpful and polite. Food and bar - the breakfast buffet has a superb variety for every palette. The staff is too sweet! We also had dinner here. They have a great new chef Vishal who doles out exceptional food at Cafe 88. Highly recommended for North Indian delicacies. We also tried the bar next door, and enjoyed the cocktails and service by Daya.

We stayed for 4 days in Hyatt pune and loved every minute of it. Their gym is good, food is amazing and service is exceptional. I'd like to mention the amazing breakfast buffet, housekeeping by Mr. Bitul and great service overall

Great Boutique Hotel , cozy rooms , great view of trees and forest , good ambience , silent room shielded from road traffic sound , helpful and prompt staff and good catering .

Food is good, rooms outdated size Restaurants are good - BanTao n Cafe88, good staff like Soumen n Anish Book spa in advance as weekends may be rushed
