Top to bottom, a memorable trip for me and my wife. Junior and Sara were the best!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Eden Roc for our anniversary. We would highly recommend the property to couples, especially those celebrating special occasions or looking for a romantic getaway. The hotel property is beautiful and tastefully done. We stayed at one of the oceanfront bungalows which was spectacular, had its own pool and was very spacious. But where Eden Roc particularly excels is at helping create “special moments” to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted with champagne and a gluten free cake (one of us has celiac) in our room upon arrival and we’re also surprised later that night with rose petals on our bed and balloons in our room. We were also surprised at dinner with a birthday cake (one of us also had a birthday while there). Touches like these really elevated our experience. In addition, we had two private dinners while there, one in the resort’s cenote which was very special and had amazing food. The other was a dinner in our bungalow, which was also lovely. We had to change to an indoor location in our room because of an impending storm, and our server went above and beyond to set up the room with roses, etc., to make it feel extra special. Our personal concierge Samira was extraordinary and went above and beyond to make our stay special in so many ways. We’ve had concierges at other properties but have never met a concierge as wonderful, helpful and proactive as Samira. She was attentive to every detail (and even drove us to an offsite location we wanted to visit when our taxi never came!), and she ensured our stay was perfect. Also, if you stay in a room with a pool, you MUST have the floating breakfast. It was a wonderful experience that we still talk about. Yes, there was sargassum while we were there, but sargassum is just now a part of the Caribbean for many months out of the year. And it is virtually impossible to try to time your stay to avoid it. Eden Roc is such a special place that I would not let sargassum deter your stay at such a wonderful property. We definitely plan to come back with our kids very soon.

A beautiful place with amazing people. The staff made our trip truly unforgettable. Everyone was so caring, attentive, and kind to me and my family. We had an incredible stay and can’t wait to come back. Special thanks to Hil and Andy for their exceptional service, and to Juan and Ismael for their warm hospitality. We had an excellent stay—beautiful property and delicious food. A special thank you to Abby for his kindness and outstanding attention throughout our visit. We would also like to give a special mention to Alan Morales for his yoga and Pilates classes. His dedication, professionalism, and extensive knowledge made every class a wonderful experience. They were truly one of the highlights of our stay.
