Eden Roc Cap Cana

We were fortunate to stay in one of the three villas at Eden Roc. The stay was perfect. The accommodations are excellent…close to the beach, a perfect pool, great golf and most importantly, the most attentive staff servicing all of our needs 24 hours a day. The chef was sensational and the bartender poured the perfect drinks all day. And the weather in the Dominican Republic is perfect. Thanks to Junior, our host and his amazing team. We can’t wait to go back!

How can I put into words such a magical week in The Founders Villa Cap Cana. Starting with the moment we arrived at the Villa and we met Junior!!! He was warm and inviting and only wanted all of us to have a GREAT time. Castillo and Juan were also friendly and made sure everyone was happy. The chef was terrific and always made sure everyone was fed (with all different needs). The Founders Villa is a PERFECT get away for a large family or group. The Villa is beautiful and we were VERY comfortable. Junior was exceptional in every way!! He always responded to our needs immediately and made sure that everything was taken care of. He is a GEM!! He always had a smile on his face and was so happy to see us enjoying ourselves. We cannot thank him enough!!!! We can't wait to go back and see everyone again, we will sure be returning!!! It was a sensational vacation and Villa!!! We can't thank you enough!!!

We stayed at the Villa Azuree in Eden Roc Cap Cana over Thanksgiving 2025-there were 9 adults, each with their own needs and expectations. The staff was superb at satisfying all our requests and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The golf course is beautiful and the spa services were top-notch. The food prepared in the villa was delicious! We will definitely be returning.

Our trip was ruined by food poisoning. The hotel is adamant that they follow the highest food safety standards and nobody else at the hotel was sick (and I fully expect them to respond saying exactly that). However we only ate and drank at the hotel. Not a morsel or a sip from anywhere else. The local hospital confirmed diagnoses of bacterial infections due to food for all of us. They responded quickly to help us get medical attention (perhaps because other tourists have suffered terrible fates from these bacterial illnesses), and expressed great concern over how sick the kids were. It was a terrible experience. The communication upon the return home was virtually non-existent and they refused to respond. It was also dishonest that despite asking the hotel numerous questions in advance of our arrival about water activities, they chose not to mention that the ocean had a significant sargassum infestation and was off limits due to those health concerns. It was such a disappointment- the ocean looked like a rolling bowl of brown toilet water and it smelled bad on the beach. Finally, the service was inconsistent, except for the drivers who took us to the hospital - they were wonderful.

There aren’t enough words to express how much we loved it here!!! Staff, food, atmosphere, and villa all a 10/10!!! The staff made you feel right at home and were always extremely fast to assist us in whatever we needed. Junior, Castillo, and Juan who work in the Founders Villa were the most compassionate and welcoming staff. We can’t say enough!!! I recommend Eden Roc to families with little children, couples, and big family vacations they truly have it all.
