Sparkling blue surf, swaying palm trees and soft Caribbean sands greet you at Fishing Lodge Cap Cana. Overlooking Cap Cana Marina on the Eastern tip of the Dominican Republic, this serene Mediterranean-style retreat captures the tranquil atmosphere of beach living. Spacious villas are bright and charming, showcasing a perfect blend of cosmopolitan chic and beach house casual. Enjoy sleek full kitchens, beach style bathrooms, and bedrooms with deeply plush beds that ensure a wonderful night's sleep. On brilliant mornings and sun-kissed afternoons, step out onto your expansive terrace to take a dip in your swim-out pool. Relax under the stars in the evening, sipping cocktails as you lounge on rattan furnishings and soak in the natural beauty of the Caribbean.
Enjoy an early morning tee time at Punta Espada Golf Club, playing 18 holes as the sun warms the sea. Cool off afterward on the white sand beach, diving into crystalline waters for a swim, or riding the waves windsurfing or on a surfboard. Snorkel right along the beach for a fascinating view of the local sea life, then venture out on a scuba diving expedition that will take you to the 24-mile long Punta Cana Reef, Isla Saoma, and vibrant underwater caves. Sail around the Cap Cana coast aboard a catamaran, or head out onto the open ocean for great deep sea fishing. In the evening, experience breathtaking views of the coast from high above aboard a helicopter, then return to the lodge for a decadent dinner. Savor fresh seafood, French-Mediterranean or continental cuisine, and sip the perfect wine or cocktail as the sun sets brilliantly beyond the horizon. At Fishing Lodge Cap Cana this is just another day in paradise.

Reviews for Fishing Lodge Cap Cana
We went to Punta Cana for 3 days and rented a condo in this resort - did not take an all inclusive package which was offered to us for $85 usd each per day on top of the room. The setting is beautiful and the marina very nice. The reception personnel not very friendly and did not give us any explanations about the site which is huge. Took us a long time to find our room. The room has a kitchen and was very nice at one point but is not well maintained now - no coffee maker, no dish towels, one spoon, two forks only.... I am talking from experience as we own a rental property in Las Terrenas, DR, and i make sure my guests have all the basics and more :) No free Wifi in the room, either have to purchase daily pack or go to the lobby to use Internet.... Very expensive to eat on site and nothing else around. Coffee and a few pastries available in the lobby in the morning only. The central pool is beautiful, the personnel not friendly... Overall, a big disappointment - couldn’t wait to get back to Las Terrenas!

I stayed at a private condo at the Fishing Lodge inside the Cap Cana resort complex. It is located on the north side of Cap Cana Marina and has a 2 luxury hotels with wonderful pools, the little :old world style" marina village with restaurants, shops and beautiful plazas overlooking the marina. It is a short drive to Juanillo Beach and some of the other resort-beach locations within the resort complex and very close to the airport and all the stores and shops of Punta Cana - Bavaro. Renting a car makes everything much more convenient, but it you are sedentary, you could find all you need in the lodge and marina. I love a private feel to my vacations and this place which is expansive, almost feels like you have it all to yourself.

I stayed for 2 nights at one of the apartments while visiting the place for business. The apartments are very comfortable and well designed; the setting around is wonderful with several restaurants and stores with very nice options.
We rented an apartment in the Fishing Lodge. Amazing setting with a pool overlooking the marina. But be careful if you get the all-inclusive plan with adjacent hotel AlSol...service is below average if you stay at these apartments. No phone service and hotel cannot fix it because it is not part of hotel??? Very confusing...and we paid top dollar to have the whole experience. Hotel is nice, like walking through mediterranean city but without the noise and crowds. We rented a boat and did a whole-day private ride with captain, this was by far the best experience during our stay. Pool is a bit cold, but entertainers, like “Mickey Mouse” (thats what it said in the bame tag) made it fun. Overall experience not so great but I will definitely go back to Punta Cana, not Cape Cana...for now

Dirty room, full of signs from the previous visitors, bad ventilation system. You'll be charged for about 40 USD or more if taking a cab from the resort to town. It seems like they have already some kind of business with some of the taxi company as well. Trust no one, they will always try to make you spend more money, even if you already have an all-inclusive arrangement. Some of the female workers are very rude too. I do not recommend this place, because is to far away from others places in the city, which make it difficult to find other options if wanted.
