Fake and awful
This is the worst online scam Ive seen. Empty shells of buildings. Zoom in on the photos you may be able to see the Hollywood facades! Beach was small and full of seafood. Walk to the beach included walking past fake facades of empty buildings peering inside were paint cans, and dirt. Our room was nice but seriously had JUST been finished as we arrived. We waited hours and hours and were finally placed in two separate rooms leaving our daughters down the hall with construction workers all over the side of the building looking into our rooms! Food was cafeteria quality at best. DEFINITELY CROSS THIS OFF YOUR LIST and dont be fooled by the photos!

Fishing Lodge Condos Cap Cana
The 2 bedroom condos are beautiful and spacious. The two pools on upper level are superb. Great for swimming laps and floating around. The people who work entertainment for Sports Illustrated are fun and friendly and very kind. Rosie, Carla, Elvis, Rafael, and Carmel, the waitress and Majkol in the gym all good people.

Beware- hotel with many names
Literally stay anywhere else. If you stayed prior to 2019 you know it WAS a great hotel. Now with new management it is awful. They say they have all the amenities and restaurants but only 1 pool and 1 restaurant is open at a time. You have to walk 5 mins away just to get an all inclusive drink, No beach and they lie saying you get you get food and drinks at the beach nearby that you shuttle to. Tried reaching out to management for some kind of refund for the NON ALL INCLUSIVE stay I paid for but they just ignored me!!! BEWARE of old reviews -this is not the same hotel as when it was alsol luxury village. Oh and if you like timeshare salesmen they have those walking around too which makes up most of their guest!

Smells like a toilet, LITERALLY
I went to stay here and had to leave in 10 minutes because the smell of the sewage tanks was so strong I threw up and had a massive headache. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY when I asked for a refund, the manager only offered to give me back part of my payment if I gave them a good review.

A hidden gem
The fishing lodge is a hidden gem. The artictecture is remarkable. This place is inspiring and something very special to explore. Its like a little city with everything you need. Lots of places to walk, eat, swim or just sit and relax. Ive seen a community in the Dominican Republic of this high caliber anywhere.
