Best resort I've been to so far in The DR. Dreams Onyx was also fantastic but I would have to say Royal Beach edged it out in most areas.

Spring break 2026
Absolutely beautiful resort. Staff were kind and inclusive, on resort entertainment was fun. Food was overall good, quality expected of mass produced buffet food, but the resort made it more exciting by providing daily food themes. The buffet satisfies even the pickiest of young eaters. The pools were outstanding including the abundance of bars throughout. Drink machines would be useful spread across the resort as currently guests need to ask bar staff for items as simple as soft drinks or water. Bar staff are patient and accommodating, but can be somewhat inconvenient especially when the needs of a younger child are being addressed. Overall, the resort is lovely and my family had a fabulous stay and relaxing vacation.

Drinks were great. Hotel was beautiful. Kids loved hanging out in the pool and the beach. Loved the entertainment staff, Rissa (great dancer), Tarzan, Baby Face, Brownie, and Picachu.

Hotel was beautiful! Entertainment staff was great, Rissa and Tarzan was wonderful and the kids loved the activities! Drinks were great and we all had a wonderful vacation! We’ll be back!
