Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

Dreams royal beach hotel was amazing I’ll definitely be back with my family again I give them a 4 star and not a 5 because the butler we got wasn’t organized in someways for example it’s 6 of us and when he’s making reservations he said it’s 5 of us not only once or twice but 3 times me and my family was unhappy about that because when we go to the restaurants we’re always waiting for some reason I don’t know but it’s not the restaurant fault! He was a good butler his energy is nice and all but he needs to be more attentive. Another thing the security’s at the gates are horrible they need to get fired or trained over when me and my parents and other siblings tried to leave to go to the airport we felt like some hostages hold against our will the kids and I was leaving but my parents was staying for another 2 days they’re saying we should check out etc but why would we check out when my parents still has 2 days left not only that but they lied saying my mom owes the hotel money which is a lie because she even ask for the bill and he couldn’t even pull up the bill or tell her what she owes them for they also had issues getting back in and the butler and manager had to go get them, I’m writing this for the hotel manager to fix these things not to bring down the hotel but to make it better don’t let my experience stop you from going there because guess what I’ll definitely give them another chance because things happen and at the end of the day we are all human! Thank you dreams royal beach staff for making my vacation a blast!

Just checked in. Unfortunately, the front desk staff and manager were not very pleasant or accommodating. We requested a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor but were told there were no other rooms available except the 1st floor. Our friends, who arrived after us and made the same request, were given a room on the 2nd floor. The hotel and restaurants appear half empty. Very disappointing first impression.

If you are ready for a place to unwind and enjoy uninterrupted fun with your family, this is the place. Dreams Royal Beach had everything our family needed to enjoy fun in the sun for a week in the beautiful Dominican Republic. The entertainment and food are amazing. You won't be dissappointed!

Generally a good experience and it did get better over time. Room was beautiful. Facilities and shared bathrooms were immaculate. Staff was nice. Some restaurants were good, specifically Italian, Mexican, and asian. Biggest issues were: 1. buffet was small with limited options, often low quality, stale food and at times not enough - very limited kids options which was disappointing seeing as this is a family friendly resort. 2. I lost my money case on the 2nd night. I knew exactly where and at what time. With the numerous cctv cameras I was hopeful they could view the footage and locate my wallet. I checked in every day for the remaining 6 days we were there and kept being told they were "looking into it". I'm sure if I watched the footage I would have located it in minutes. It had all my tip money for the trip and was a family heirloom that meant a lot to me even if the cash couldn't be recovered :( I was disappointed that the only thing they did when I told them was search my own room in case I was mistaken. Entertainment was light. Kids club activies were not very engaging. Teen club didn't have much and games didn't work. Party music was mostly american but we are in the DR!

Highly recommended especially for folks with young families. Visiting DR in general and especially at this resort. All of the staff without exception were incredibly kind and accommodating of our young 22 month old and even the 11 year olds that joined with us. Amenities were top notch. Food was better than average for an all inclusive, we’re not big drinkers but to the extent we did drink, the bartenders were attentive and made fantastic drinks as well.
