Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

We had a nice time at the Dreams but would not recommend overall as there are nicer family resorts. We stayed at a Dreams in Playa Mujeres two summers ago and this resort did not live up to our previous trip. I will say Isaac at the preferred bar was by far the highlight of the trip along with the surf and turf from the French restaurant. If you're heading here make sure you stay in the "Preferred" areas the benefits outweigh the cost. Our group of 8 had a great time together but all agreed we will pick a new resort for our next trip. If you are heading here you will have a nice time but there are nicer places for your money.

The experience was breath-taking, and the nature-like environment was amazing. The aquatic environment was second to none. The variety of restaurants and the diversity of cultures were refreshing.

The hotel is nice and well kept, the staff is amazing and very attentive to your needs. The buffet is small and limited with low quality food. I have been to many all inclusive resorts and this was the worst buffet I have seen. The a la cart restaurants don't take reservations except for the Japanese which means be prepared to wait for a long time to be seated. The pool is great, big and warm but they allow kids to play everywhere even near the swim-up pool which I have not seen at other resorts. There were kids jumping in and playing ball in the middle of the adults right next to swim-up bar. They also allow people to eat inside the pool, not by the pool but inside the pool which again I have not seen at other resorts. I witnessed people eating pizza and chicken wings inside the pool which is disgusting. I brought this up to a few staff members but I was told that they were not authorized to say anything to the guests.

We recently stayed at Dreams Royal Beach as Preferred Club guests and had a great overall experience. The resort is beautiful, the staff was friendly, and our family had a wonderful time. The kids' program was a standout and kept our children engaged with plenty of fun activities throughout the stay. While we enjoyed the Preferred Club amenities, we felt the exclusivity of the program could have been enhanced to better differentiate the experience from the standard guest offering. The food was decent but not particularly memorable, with most dining options falling in the average range. Overall, it was a relaxing family vacation, and we'd consider returning, especially because of the excellent kids' program.

I recently stayed at Dreams Royal Beach in the Dominican Republic, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, with well maintained grounds, stunning beaches, and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially NESTOR who is assigned to the market place restaurant. Nestor was attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoying the stay. NESTOR is an outstanding employee. Regarding the rooms, our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, providing everything needed for a comfortable vacation. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of dining options that catered to different tastes. Whether at the buffet or the specialty restaurants, every meal was fresh and delicious. The entertainment team also did a fantastic job providing fun activities throughout the day and enjoyable shows in the evening. What truly stood out was the overall level of service and hospitality. Every detail seemed thoughtfully planned, making the entire stay feel special and stress free. I highly recommend Dreams Royal Beach to anyone looking for a memorable vacation in the Dominican Republic and would gladly return in the future.
