Went for a destination wedding and here is my take on this resort: PROS: beautiful beach in November, clean and plenty of beach chairs. Delicious food at the restaurants, we loved the Mexican, the seaside grill and the Italian on the preferred side, I liked that we didn’t need reservations and were always seated promptly. My daughters enjoyed the kids pool. Drinks were very good and strong. Staff were nice and friendly, cleaning ladies did a great job everyday cleaning our room and giving us clean towels. Rooms were clean and comfy, we liked the jetted tub on the outside sitting area. They were accommodating giving us a connecting room with my in-laws. Entertainment was great, had something different every night. I liked that they don’t give out bracelets. The breakfast menu for room service was good too. The pool area is big lots of places to hang out and relax. The wedding was very nice, reception was at the beach, the food was delicious and the welcome dinner the night before was such a nice time and delicious food as well. The walk to the preferred area through the wooden bridge was so beautiful, during the day and night. My girls loved seeing the turtles, iguana and some really cool looking ducks and at night the whole bridge is lit up. CONS: Extremely noisy to stay on the 1st floor of building 5, we had room 5146 and people are constantly walking by the hall until very late at night, you can hear everything! It is also such a bad design to have the buffet attached to that building because everyone just walks through there as it is a maze to go through the middle area where the pool is. The buffet was a let down for me, especially at breakfast which I always look forward to, the food is so overcooked (can barely bite into a hashbrown) and so many repeated items, omelette area in the fusion restaurant is so slow and omelette was overcooked almost burnt. The food at the fusion restaurant was bad too, I’ve had way better teppanyaki at other resorts. We payed a lot to go to this resort as we travelled from the west coast (Canada) and unfortunately we just didn’t think it was worth it compared to Mexico, not to mention a lot of us got sick with some stomach bug, my mom and dad had to stay in their room one night and got the shivers and bad stomach pain for that reason alone we wouldn’t go back but is probably with it if you’re in the east.

Great experience. It's a good Resort. Although you don't really need the butler service, I did pay for it with the package, and they were terrible when I needed it. Didn't even greet us during check-in process and check-out procedures could have been prevented due to the butler giving out dummy room numbers when we got spa service.

Honestly, the only thing negative I have to say is the breakfast wasn’t the BEST. Which, really just the eggs. I sure did miss Dr. Pepper, so maybe that clouds my judgement a little too. But overall we had a PHENOMENAL time. It did suck how some of the resort was under construction or renovation, but that’s not a big deal. I wasn’t a fan of the casino, but my husband had a ball! We went for our honeymoon, stayed in the preferred club, and that was the most beautiful stay I’ve ever experienced. I would definitely love to come back one day when they’re completely finished with renovations!

Well what can I say, I booked this as a holiday to remember in the Caribbean. Hotel itself yes it was very nice but it’s all about the preferred club (an extra £130 a night). The staff were great but again they definitely steered to the preferred members, the food however was very very good, and breakfast every morning was a great experience, The a la carte restaurants were all very good especially the teppanyaki, all the drinks were very good, there were some that had a cost. My main disappointment was how crammed the pools were, your either in total shade or total sun you could not move your bed, On the whole it was a nice holiday but would not return to this hotel which is a shame for how nice the restaurant staff were.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Dreams Royal Beach. It’s a great choice for families with kids of different ages, thanks to the wide range of activities and well-designed facilities. The kids’ club is excellent, and even older children and teens will find plenty to do—we were pleasantly surprised to see unique options like a DJ class. For adults, the clay tennis court was a big bonus, and the overall property is clean, beautiful, and easy to navigate. Throughout our stay, the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any request. Dining overall was solid. The fusion restaurant was outstanding, though it’s only open for dinner. The main area for lunch is the single buffet, which doesn’t offer many options, so some variety during midday meals would be appreciated.
