Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

I just loved my vacation at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana. My friend and I were there for a week from Oct 26-Nov 2. We thought the grounds were beautiful, and the resort was excellently maintained. The beach and the pools were plentiful, and we took advantage of the amazing fitness/outdoor classes. Loved the Dance Fitness class! Tony and the E-Team were absolutely incredible. We especially loved the evening entertainment/shows. The food options were good - there was always plenty to eat. We had a great time at the resort and would highly recommend it to families with kids or adults looking for a getaway.

A big thank you to our Preferred Club Concierge, Billy! He went above and beyond to make sure our trip was fun and covered. We highly recommend him as a butler! We love our trip to Paradise! Waking up to hot weather, delicious food, and great staff. At the "Blue Dorado" bar, we want to highly thank David, Adony, and Brander for their hospitality and great service. They made us feel special and loved. Thank you to the whole team at Dreams Royal Beach- Punta CANA!

We had a great time and would possibly return, but, this property is not handicap friendly, would benefit from improved signage and lighting, and, worst of all, all of the pools close at 7:00 PM

We went to celebrate two birthdays and our travel agent said she noted it on our account. I had to prompt them to put a banner on the room the day of my friend’s bday and they claim they had no notes about the occasion. Room wasn’t fully cleaned when we arrived and I had to ask for the sheets and headboard to be cleaned. The food was mid and often lukewarm/flavorless. Lucia is the best bartender on the resort. She is charming, friendly and good at her job. Entertainment staff did their jobs and tried to engage folks. Waterslides were fun even for adults. The resort was under construction and the elevator near our room was out for at least a day. Had to remind them the second day there to restock the waters in the mini fridge. Diogenes who worked near/at Seaside Grill was a pleasure. He was friendly and his happiness infectious. The spa staff were excellent. Some of the best massages we ever received. Beach was clean and chairs were plentiful. I was also there to consider that as a possible location for a wedding, but have decided to continue looking.

This was our second visit to New Preferred Club area which was not affected by renovation. We enjoy staying at this new area even though it is little bit far from the beach. Walk through mangrove is very pleasant, every day you may discover something new there. The resort grounds are very well designed and maintained. There are enough chairs by the pools and on the beach. There is no need to get up early in the morning to reserve the spot, unlike some other resorts we’ve been to. There is also new addition to the beach area with few cabanas which we found quite enjoyable. This being our second visit it was really nice to be recognized by the staff from last year. It really felt like we came back home. Our butler Billy made us feel like part of the family. Overall resort staff, especially at Preferred Club area, is one of the main reasons we came back and will probably return again. Renovation at main lobby presented some small inconvenience but was not a deal breaker and it will be great to see what improvements have been made if we come back next year.
