Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

Stayed for a week and overall it is a great place for a winter break. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the staff were really friendly, efficient and dealt with any query professionally. The beach was lovely with soft sand. We enjoyed the morning walk along the beach to witness the sunrise. The hotel do everything they can to deal with the seaweed issue and they do so mainly successfully, though you should be prepared to encounter some sargassum! Getting a lounger on the beach was never a problem though there probably are not enough loungers by the pool. We found the pool area towards the beach end very noisy, particularly in the afternoon, but if you wanted quietness you could find it. The restaurants were generally good, though in the buffet we found some of the food to be quite tepid. Overall, a good holiday and in our opinion, value for money.

Great location, atmosphere, scenery, food and bars. A very good resort for a family holiday, unless you prefer peace and quiet. In that case, look for other places, for example the neighboring Secret... Tennis facilities are available (if you play tennis and want to get some exercise). Marcos is great at this. The resort is small, so there's no need to walk long distances if you don't want to walk too much or too often, yet there were always free sun loungers on the beach and near the pools. The property is not new, but functional and well-maintained. The only possible improvement could be enlarging the main buffet area. During peak hours, the waiting time for a free table increased. Service options improve if you are a UVC/Preferred Club member. Then you receive special treatment. Will come back anytime.

The food was excellent but as the resort filled up you waited longer to be seated for dinner. The buffet restaurant was good for breakfast but we found dinner didn’t have a lot of different options (what was there was good). Our room was always clean and the housekeeping staff was great to work with. The bartenders, pool and bar servers were excellent giving us suggestions and surprising us with different drinks to try. This is my second time going to this resort and I will definitely be going back.

Where to begin! This resort is simply amazing ! The beauty of it all, he staff who are just so friendly and nice, the food that was surprisingly good for resort food, the comfort if the rooms we loved everything about this place! I'm not one to go twice to the same resort as there are so many but this one I can't wait to be back ! Do not believe negative reviews! We were preferred, Marcelo the butler made our stay go from great to amazing! I loved the perks of being preferred but I am certain this resort can be enjoyed and still amazing even if you are not.
