Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

WOW what an amazing experience! Truly a 5 star vacation. You are greeted with "Welcome Home" and it definitely feels like it. The resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing. The manicured grounds and beach are simply second to none. The days starts out at the Coco Cafe with a warm smile and hot latte from Lilliana. She is always happy and ready to help get the day off to a great start. Next is breakfast at the world cafe. Juan makes a great made to order omelet and Freddy and Zuribel are willing to go above and beyond to make your breakfast enjoyable. Can't thanks Felix enough for setting a special table for us as well. It was unexpected and beautiful and reall mad our day. Once at the pool Jefry at the Grotto bar is the best drink server in the business. He is very attentive, serves with a smile, and is always hustling! You never have to wait very long for a refill if you are lucky enough to be served by him. At the Beach Emmanual and Freimy take care of the cabana's and make sure your day is a memorable one. Once evening hits it's off to the Veranda bar where Carlos and Nurkiara serve up not only great drinks but friendly and welcoming conversation. The many dining options ensure you will find something on the menu that will satisfy you. But, not only is the food great but the staff is equally as well. Carolina, Raul, Ricardo at Tres Colores, Vicente and Darlyn at Murcure and Sea Side, and all the staff at Fusion help make the nightly dining experience pleasant and memorable. Call out to our Butler Jose as well. He was very attentive to our needs and was up to any task we gave him. The evening entertainment area is a great way to end the night. The open air venue with a stage hosts some very good entertainment. Easy for us to say it is the best entertainment and entertainment venue of all the resorts we have stayed at. Bottom line is this is a great resort with amazing staff and is definitely a place we will return to.

This was our third year in a row staying at Dreams Royal Beach - we highly recommend the resort!! We always stay on the Preferred side. Since we have been there 3 years in a row - some of the staff have started to feel like family. I have a long list of names to mention as I feel like the staff themselves makes the resort welcoming and wonderful. Lionel is a butler at Secrets, the adults only side, but we met him last year on the Dreams side. We LOVE him, he has the best personality and is great with kids. My son said that seeing Lionel was his favorite part of the trip! I wish he was on the Dreams side because like I said before, he is GREAT with kids. Marcelo was our butler and he was wonderful. I highly recommend him. He checked in with us everyday and made sure we were happy, having fun and had everything that we needed. Jose was our butler last year and although we didnt have him this year, he recognized us and would say hi to us everyday. He is great as well and we would highly recommend him. Miguelito was our server on the beach each day and he is amazing as well - we have seen him 3 years in a row now. Each time we visit it's always good to see him. Mello is the person who cleans the beach and makes sure that it looks beautiful for all of the guests to enjoy. I wanted to recognize him as he does a wonderful job. Our favorite restaurants were Seaside Grille for breakfast and lunch and then Portofino for dinner. All of the service staff was wonderful - here are a few names that stood out - Hansel, Ismael, Christopher, Jose R., Dayl, Keisy, Glennis, Yomairi, Yeffry, Juan and Daily. The staff made our vacation so special!!

Well run hotel set in pleasant grounds. Nice sandy beach. Excellent wifi. Two pools. Loungers get taken quickly and most of them around the pool don't have sunshades. That's less of a problem on the beach. Sea was warm in March as was the pool, I'd guess around 27 degrees. Beach gets cleaned of seaweed every morning. Five restaurants which are all ok, with a couple of excellent steaks in the grill. Mexican restaurant could be a bit more spicy! Good selection of cocktails, OK house wine and pleasant light beer included. Staff are really friendly and helpful. They don't expect tips but are obviously happy to get them. And reception happily changes 10 dollar bills for 1s and seems to have masses of them, which is do helpful for tipping! Our room was clean, spacious and modern. Rather tatty bathrobes if I am being picky. Hot water in the shower was iffy - it seems to run out from time to time but comes back on again in 30 minutes or so. For our second visit here we upgraded to the Preferred club. This brought a couple of beach areas and swimming pools, waiter service at breakfast in a separate restaurant where lunch was also served. Plus a couple of bars. You also get a concierge. Ivelisse was great and checked in with us every day. We didn't use her services much but she negotiated a late check out for us, with being asked which was excellent service, many thanks Ivelisse! I hope we will return for another visit soon!

This was our 3rd time visiting Punta Cana, and this was probably my favorite resort so far. First and foremost I want to say, that the Entertainment team here is outstanding, Especially VLADI. He truly made such a great impression on our entire group. He sat down with us and answered all of our questions we had about The Dominican Republic and their culture. He was always so kind to our two "young adult" sons, and looked for us everyday to have a visit. He truly made our vacation memorable. Almost every single member of the staff we encountered were kind and courteous: From the front desk staff, to the Housekeepers, to the Waiters, Waitresses, and Bartenders. The drinks were always phenomenal, and the food was always to my liking. Everyone will have different opinions on the food as some prefer one Restaurant over the next. I felt the buffet had plenty to offer for breakfast, and my family really enjoyed being able to just grab a burger on the beach for lunch. Lastly, the nightly Entertainment was always enjoyable. Our favorite show was definitely Queen .

Ambiorix was the highlight of our trip! He was the most attentive and kind server on the beach! He was friendly and made sure that we always had everything we needed. Ambi is seriously the best.
