Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

Good location not far from airport. The resort is divided into two areas "Preferred" and "Dreams Royal Beach" which are connected by a bridge or short golf cart ride. The grounds are beautiful at night with all the lights, especially the bridge. Rooms are modern & very clean with well use of space. Activities are on the Dreams Royal Beach side so it tends to be noisy. We stayed on the "Preferred" side which was pretty quiet. We had a ground floor room with nice lanai & private access to one of the two lazy pools. However, there are no floats so bring an inexpensive blow up with you. We were celebrating a birthday & our concierge Yacaira helped us in many ways from securing a private location for us to celebrate, to getting all 10 of us seated together at dinner. She was extremely helpful in getting a couple of us transportation back to the airport when the transportation company was not responding. Yacaira's touch in taking care of details really made our time together more special.

Yeuny, the beach bar runner was absolutely fantastic! He made going to the beach a pleasure! He made sure we always had drinks in our hands!

While the beach itself was beautiful, it was difficult to fully relax due to frequent interruptions from vendors. A stricter vendor policy would greatly improve the experience. The food was decent but could have been better in terms of quality and variety.

Pretty resort beach was beautiful and staff were friendly..with the exception of afew. Room was great ..food wasn’t the best at the buffet however nicer restaurants food was very good. I didn’t like that only preferred members could make reservations at the restaurants resulting in long wait times for everyone else. However that isn’t a deal breaker for our visit. We enjoyed ourselves very much! The pools are endless so much room to swim and lots of seating around the property.

Beware. They insist in billing you in Dominican pesos so use a card that does not incur foreign transaction fees.
