AMAZING RESORT! Went on a family vacation and cannot say enough great things about this resort. The beach is cleaned multiple times a day so the sargassum is really not an issue. The construction was not an issue at all, so staying away from this resort because of that is silly. Food was great, mostly at Fusion which was always great. Pedro Martinez at Interlude Bar was the best bartender, very attentive and knew how to make drinks very well! We can't wait to return!!

The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and fully stocked throughout our stay. The resort itself was beautiful, picturesque, and well-maintained. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our concierge, Emmanuel, was especially helpful and communicated with us regularly throughout our visit. One challenge was the restaurant reservation system. Traveling with a group of nine, including several young children, it was stressful not being able to make reservations in advance. Despite arriving for dinner around 6:00 p.m., we often waited over an hour for a table. As a result, the children frequently ended up eating snacks from the coffee shop rather than having a full dinner. The food at the restaurants we visited, particularly Seaside Grill, was excellent—delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. However, the buffet experience was disappointing on both the Preferred and Dreams sides of the resort. Much of the food was dry, stale, or cold, especially at breakfast. We never had warm eggs, and the waffles and pancakes were often too hard for the children to enjoy. We found that the best buffet options were the made-to-order stations, and we eventually relied on the omelets, crepes, and fresh lunch specials. The bars were well-stocked, clean, and operated by knowledgeable staff. The bartenders and servers were friendly, patient, and accommodating, happily preparing a variety of drinks for adults as well as fun virgin cocktails for the children. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful resort, exceptional staff, and excellent restaurant dining, but improvements to the reservation process and buffet quality would greatly enhance the guest experience.

I really had high hopes for this resort. Based on other reviews I have read here on tripadvisor, However I found my stay frustrating. Multiple small issues and the resorts handling of these issues left me... well disappointed. I found my stay frustrating small things like rooms not being cleaned issues with things in the room not working. When brought to the attention of the front desk it would take days to be resolved. I feel like if the resort would have resolved the issues when they were brought up it would have been a non issue for me. As for the service it was really a mixed bag some employees were amazing and were very attentive while others seemed to be annoyed with my presence. I found the food was much like the service really a mixed bag. We had great meals at Portofino and Seaside grill the meals we had at the Mexican restaurant and the Asian restaurant we were unable to finish. World Cafe and the beachside stand were good. Coco Cafe was very good for coffee. The dress code is relaxed at every restraunt no need to bring pants. If I were to return to Punta Cana I would look elsewhere.

I had no major complaints about my stay. The resort was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. It was nice that they spoke enough English to communicate basic things. I highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to the area

We booked this resort because it looked beautiful, and to be fair, the property and our Preferred room with a jacuzzi were okay. Everything was nude and brown, everything traditional and old. Unfortunately, the service did not match the experience we were sold. Dreams is connected to Secrets, and many guests were able to visit and enjoy the adults-only side. Our butler repeatedly told us we were not allowed to go there, calling it a “political thing.” We later found out from other guests who had the same butler that he had made dinner reservations at Secrets for them, but refused to do the same for us. And then …. we later learned there were VIP benefits included with our stay, such as spa and casino credits, that were never explained to us. Had we not heard about them from other guests, we would have never known they existed. I honestly did not understand the value of booking Preferred. The Preferred side was always empty, and aside from the Preferred lounge at check-in, which was the only place with higher-end alcohol, there seemed to be very few meaningful benefits. There was one additional Preferred bar near the beach, but beyond that, everything felt the same as the standard experience. Not to mention there is construction on the property, so you’ll be hearing a lot of noise throughout the day. I also felt sick almost every night after eating at the resort. The hotel transportation service was poorly organized as well. They wanted to pick me up at 7:50 a.m. for an 11:47 a.m. flight, which was unreasonable, so I ended up taking an Uber instead. Overall. It was an ok experience. I won’t be going back
