Its a nice family friendly resort. The buffet could be better limited choices of food and mostly pork. The entertainment is short 1 hour or less.

This was a dope experience. It’s a beautiful hotel great service and great staff. I loved Picachu’s performance and her energy she was the greatest!

This is an awesome family friendly resort with solid entertainment. The food was fine - if you’re going for a culinary experience this is not the place for you. But the staff is wonderful, the facilities are all well maintained, the vibes are good overall. We had a lovely trip. Definitely recommend.

My first impressions were outstanding. The resort is beautiful, pristine, and exceptionally well-maintained. The service is impeccable—after a very long journey, the welcome drinks and refreshing towels were exactly what we needed. However, what truly made this experience second to none was the incredible staff.A few special shoutouts to the team members who made us feel like family:Emely & Christi (Concierge): Both were incredibly lovely. Emely’s constant help and support made me feel right at home, and I don’t think I got to thank her enough.Juan (Chef at The World Café): He went above and beyond to check on us, ensuring we loved the food and had everything we needed.Yudeter (Coco Café): She showed us such genuine care, even packing us water and snacks for our journey home on our final day.Aristides (Bellhop): When I told him how much a taxi had overcharged me, he was genuinely upset on our behalf and went out of his way to rectify the situation. I so appreciated him looking out for us.Aquiles (Reception): He was incredibly helpful and kindly charged our phones for us before our departure.The ultimate testament to the staff’s integrity happened when we lost a purse containing a significant amount of cash. It was returned to us with absolutely nothing missing. This honesty meant the world to us and speaks volumes about the culture of your team. Please take great care of these wonderful employees!One recommendation for improvement: We would love to see the rich culture and heritage of the Dominican Republic kept at the forefront of the entertainment. We would have loved to hear more traditional music like bachata, merengue, and salsa around the main pool.We hope to return one day soon to experience more of your beautiful country and see these familiar faces again!

We have arrived back home to the UK today after spending two weeks at this gorgeous resort. We stayed in the 'new' preferred side and unfortunately the mangrove bridge was not operational but the carts get you around with minimal fuss and usually there was only a short wait time. The vast majority of staff are brilliant and very friendly. Service can be a tad inconsistent at times but I'm talking very minor issues that are easily resolved. Our concierge Emmanuel was absolutely excellent. A genuine, friendly and helpful person who made our stay even better. We hired a two tier cabana on the beach for one day and absolutely loved it. We thought about booking for a second day but it was also bliss sitting under a palapa so we did this and saved ourselves a few quid. The watermark is excellent and the slides were surprisingly thrilling. Food quality overall was very good (so much better than expected). One minor gripe is that soft drinks are served from large plastic bottles and we never had a fizzy one between us all week except for the individual bottles in the mini bar. First World problems I know. For entertainment, we really enjoyed the Queen and Rock shows. The resort is undergoing refurbishment of a whole block of rooms so the atmosphere in the outside theatre was not as good as I'd imagine it to be when full. Equally, this meant there were no real queues for restaurants or bars and there was always beds / loungers available. We didnt encounter any issues with noise from the works. When we checked in we were told that as adults we could drink in the bars at Secrets but not use the pools or restaurants. We checked with our concierge who told us this was not correct and it was only the nightclub and casino during their operational hours. The new gym is large, air conditioned and very impressive. Staff are excellent and offered friendly and helpful advice. We had an issue being turned away from Mercure (with our 15 year old) AFTER being invited in on our way to Fusion. Despite being asked in the maitre d then turned us away as strictly 18 + only (fair enough and what we thought originally). Fast forward a few days and there are 4 separate tables with children raging from an infant (crawling on a table) up to 8 or 9. Apparently the 'rules had changed' and they now have 'family time at 17:30 and 18:30. This was well past 20:00. Our table was covered in crayon marks. Service was terrible and we left before dessert. The app still shows adult only so I suspect they make it up as they go along. Overall we had a blast and loved our stay. Its the most stunning resort I've ever visited and would highly recommend it to anyone considering booking. Gutted it is over and time to go back to work 😂😎 Cheers.
