Reviews for Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana
Great resort but did not meet our high expectations
February was not the best time to go to experience the resort. It was way overcrowded. Food was underwhelming at best. The resort is lovely and the rooms were adequate. Nice bathrooms. Bed was ok. We will try again some day when the resort is not as busy.

AMAZING- COUNTING THE DAYS UNTIL WE GO BACK!!
AMAZING PEOPLE, the staff was absolutely fabulous!! Every single person we encountered from the wait staff and bartenders to the grounds crew and bell hops, were kind, friendly and always quick with an Hola or Good morning! Couldn't have asked for a better experience with the staff. Special shout out to the guys at the beach bar, they were THE BEST!! RAUL at the Mexican restaurant, Daily at the Italian restaurant and Carlos at end bar outside of the Mexican restaurant.

Great place for kids
Great food and service. Pools and beach were great. Kids splash pad was awesome. Loved the coffee shop as well. No reservations for most restaurants so you needed to get there early or there was a bit of a wait. We had a bit of crazy weather while we were there so could only swim at the beach a few times, all the other days were red flags. We had some overcast weather in the mornings then it usually got sunny by lunch. Overall a great place to vacation!

Theft during our stay
Beautiful resort, BUT...... Had several pieces of expensive jewelry stolen from our room, as did others in our group of 50+. Security notified , report taken nothing came of it!

Little piece of paradise
We stayed in the preferred side, building 7000, and it was definitely quieter than the other side of the Dreams resort. The fresh fruit was amazing, and we could order room service or go to several different options for restaurants. Hibachi does need a reservation, so I would recommend booking that immediately through your concierge. We had Emmanuel, and he was absolutely fabulous. He definitely went above and beyond our expectations, including knowing our faces and names right away. We would definitely come again.
