We stayed here February 6-10, 2017. We were on an all expense paid trip associated with my husband's job. We were in Punta Cana in November 2015 at a different resort just a couple of resorts away. Check in was pleasant and uneventful. Our room was clean and spacious. The complimentary champagne was very nice! Beach area was nice and clean, but did not have any staff come through the beach area very often to take drink orders, I usually had to walk to the pool bar, which wasn't a big deal. Merfin at the pool bar was by far our favorite staff member! The noise from the pool was not bothersome at all in the evening. Overall, I would say the resort was nice and quiet. We ate at Mercure one evening. They were supposed to open at 6:00 pm. They didn't open until 6:10, and while we were waiting, at 6:00, one of the staff members asked us how they could help us, lol. Really? We're waiting to eat! The food was not impressive. The decor was nice, but they didn't even have the table completely ready. We left and went to the Buffet that is always available. The only decent thing was the French Onion Soup. Unfortunately, they didn't even get our order right. So disappointing.... You will definitely want reservations for Spice. The food was good, but not exceptional. The group of of guests at the other Hibachi table next to us had a much more lively chef. Ours was good, but not quite as fun. We also went to Capers at the Now Garden down the road. This was by far our favorite restaurant! We took the shuttle down, but walked back; the weather was gorgeous and it wasn't as far as we had thought. The beach was pretty clean most of the time. Probably the biggest annoyance of the entire trip were the staff strategically placed to pull you in by asking "How are you today" or something pleasant, but then they tell you that they just want to ask you a few questions and pull you in for a time share sort of thing. It happened EVERY day multiple times. We always declined in a pleasant way, because we realized they are just doing there jobs, but it was too much! (Especially in comaparison to the resort we were at in 2015, which had NONE of that). Walking on the beach was beautiful, but you were constantly bothered, followed, and hounded by individuals asking to braid your hair, offer a massage or to take a look at their artwork or shop. The entertainment was just "ok"....nothing was impressive. We realize our trip was paid for, so we still enjoyed ourselves, but would not book this resort on our own.

Great Resort! Had a great time with the Entertainment team (Especially SexyDaddy! Lol). Would recommend to any friend who is looking for a good time in Punta Cana. The energy from the staff was unreal each and everyday and my girlfriend and I couldn't have asked for a better trip.

The resort was very nice and the entertainment was very good. Skinny boy and The Cream were very funny and the shows were fun. The only thing I didn't like was that it took so long to walk from my hroom to the beach!

A week was not long enough! The entertainment crew made us feel like family and made everything going so much fun! They made our entire trip, especially Sexy Daddy, always smiling and happy! He made me feel like I was a part of his family from the first time I met him!
