This was an unbelievable experience. From our arrival, we were met as we exited the plane and escorted into a lounge while they took our passports and did everything for us. The same occurred on our departure. The accommodations were beautiful and a problem with our air conditioning was quickly rectified by moving us to an even larger villa. The staff were some of the nicest and friendliest we have ever encountered. A wonderful breakfast was included and we never even considered having lunch. Every morning our concierge would contact us and ask about our dinner plans. She would recommend and call and make all reservations. They will drive you wherever you would like to go within about a fifteen minute radius at any time. We also had a golf cart to drive around on the very large property. I can’t recommend this resort enough.

Tortuga Bay is a gem. The ambassadors at Punta Cana airport made arrival and departure extremely easy, the hotel is lovely and peaceful, the staff was delightful, and the food was great. There are several great dining options, and both the pool and the beach are beautiful.

Tortuga Bay Resort is a true 5 star resort. Everyone stays in a beautiful villa, steps from the beach. Each villa gets their own golf cart for the duration of their stay. Bicycles are available at no extra charge, too. The service is amazing the staff is amazing too. The resort includes complimentary private transfers and complimentary VIP expedited passport airport service upon arrival and departure. There is a spa available and great restaurants. I can't wait to go back.

As someone who seldomly indulges in luxury vacations at upscale hotels, this is one of the few ones that is actually worth the bucks. The level of service provided by every staff member was unparalleled – they went above and beyond to attend our needs. The facilities were just chef's kiss. The meticulous attention to detail truly set Tortuga Bay apart from other luxury hotels.Tortuga is a hidden gem that exceeded all our expectations.

You won't see the real DR here, but you will experience beauty and excellent care from the staff! Rooms were spacious, bright and clean, the food was excellent, and the beach gorgeous! ALL the staff were kind and attentive and we wanted to give a special note to Alcy who took extraordinary care of us during breakfast and lunch at the Bamboo restaurant. We will be back!!
