Bad really bad food service, both at restaurant and room service was also bad. Excellent view. No internet or phone communication even within the hotel - rooms are remote. Communicated with elevator phone. Terrace is abandoned. Not hot enough water and no pressure in the shower. People with good attitude.

Despite I have great references of Villa Caletas and their SPA [which I plan to try very soon] I have never stayed in this hotel. And the ONLY reason is that my father lives just a few minutes from there, and every occasion I am around is an opportunity to spend time with him. But where do I go when I want an amazing and relaxing close of the day? Certainly, one of my favorite experiences is watching the sunset at Villa Caletas' amphitheater. There is no other place around with such a fantastic view, where you lose track of where the ocean ends and sky starts; where the clouds and the water form a harmony of colors that no camera can replicate. You have to watch it yourself!! I myself, take each opportunity I get of attending this non-repeatable spectacle, because every sunset is unique. So, I go there by myself when I want time with me. For a romantic dinner with my partner or for one of the appointments I have with my sons. The service at the restaurant is just great. Even if like me, you are not staying at the hotel, you will be welcomed with a great smile and served with high quality and courtesy. Including the music they play during this time, makes a perfect fit with the end of the day, making you feel even more amazed and relaxed. This time, my special thank you goes to Reyner who served us last Sunday, making sure we got a nice spot to watch the sunset, and that our drinks and food were exactly what we wanted. Thanks Reyner!!

Wonderful and enchanting place to visit. My wife and I had the time of our lives here. The hotel is situated on a 1000 foot mountain overlooking the Pacific ocean. You are litterer ally nestled in the rainforest overlooking the ocean. The staff is amazing, the cuisine is to die for, and the views are breathtaking. Do yourself a favor and stay here, it will surely be worth it.

By far, the most beautiful place we've ever visited! We've stayed in great locations in Mexico and Jamaica, but hands down, Villa Caletas is the best! It's like being on that old show, Fantasy Island - perfection! The staff is wonderful - overly accommodating and attentive. The resort is just gorgeous - natural beauty everywhere you look - macaws and toucans flying right by your balcony as you enjoy drinks in your hot tub! The infinity pool, private beach (the ride down to it is an adventure in itself!) And the Amphitheater Restaurant is absolute perfection. We can't imagine flying to Hawaii when this paradise is so much closer! We're already looking forward to our next visit!

From the minute you arrive Villa Caletas will Wow you with its stunning beauty; a true classic combined with superior customer service. The views of the lush green mountains surrounding the serene beaches below are incredible. It is one of the most inviting and relaxing place I have been. The food is 10 star! Though I did take advantage of the facilities it is clear they cater to excellence. The conciere will take you to the beach just a short drive down the mountain which features a bar/restaurant. The wildlife is abundant, the sand the perfect texture, and the views beyond beautiful! I would go back over and over again!
