It was really nice and shout out to Sonica who helped as well as room booking team that allocated a very nice complimentary upgrade. Definitely will stay again! It was greatly appreciated that we got an upgrade the room was clean and everything was very nicely done so thank you to housekeeping as well for cleaning the room so nicely.

I took my family there for 3 nights and it was quite disappointing. It didn't feel like a typical luxury hotel. Compared to Indian luxury hotel, this was not a good luxury hotel. The lobby felt like a train station hall. Not very nice and TV playing the sport in a corner. staff not engaging too much with customers. Price expensive.

Spent 3 nights at The Darling with our two young kids and my parents over the recent weekend, the staff were so helpful and friendly. Special mention to Ian from concierge, he was super friendly and spoilt the boys with treats (chocolate and coloring in books) when we were heading out into the city. The turn down service at night was an unexpected surprise and the cleanliness of the rooms and amenities really was five star. Great location with Coles across the road and lovely little breakfast cafes across the road.

The Darling at the star was one of the best travel experiences I’ve had overall. The property is beautiful boasting with several restaurants and ease of access to the city. Cleaning staff team members work around the clock to ensure rooms and facilities are up to standard. Every staff interaction was accommodating and pleasant. In fact I was able to chat with several employees and gain perspective around my itinerary in Sydney and additional insights that elevated my overall experience on the trip. Last but not least, A gentleman by the name of Ian works on the property, and he’s one of the best concierge team members I’ve interacted with in the hospitality industry. He was extremely informative but also invest in the experience of each guest. I found his professionalism and follow up to be refreshing. (He even curated me recommendations for my upcoming Melbourne trip) I’d recommend every guest connect with him. I get the opportunity to stay at a lot of properties all over the world, but this experience was exceptional. Well done to everyone at Darling at the Star, it goes without saying I will be back. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Sydney they’re top rated for a reason!

The service at the Darling was amazing. Michelle at reception was amazing and very accommodating, patiently walking us through our package, making suggestions and offering assistance wherever possible. We were also upgraded to a jewel suite to help celebrate my husband’s 40th which was a very thoughtful gesture by the hotel and really took our stay to the next level. The room itself was amazing and we had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend The Darling!
