Voted one of the Top 100 Hotels Worldwide by the experts at Travel + Leisure, Auberge Saint-Antoine is located in the Old Port district of the city of Québec. This remarkable Relais & Chateux property was a 19th century maritime warehouse, and also includes an annex dating back to the early 1700s. A contemporary wing links the structures, and the walls that once helped fortify this relic have been used to tie the past and present together. With less than 100 modern rooms - some with gracious sitting areas and others with spa-like bathrooms - Auberge Saint-Antoine is warm and inviting. Consider one of the special themed rooms, where you can take a time travel trek back to the Victorian era from within the confines of your suite.

A luxurious hotel with very friendly staff. The service was impeccable. I loved the design of the rooms and the hotel in general. The restaurant is also very good. I visited with my family of four. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a river view room. The rooms were large and had a lot of amenities. We loved the shower and separate tub in our room as well as the heated floors. Specially because we had a couple of very cold days in Quebec City. The valet team was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was very attentive as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one visiting Quebec City and will definitely stay here again in my next visit.

We were so lucky to be booked into the Auberge Saint-Antoine for a trip to Quebec City for Winter Carnival. This hotel is gorgeous. From the concierge team to the front desk team and the partners they work with for transportation, everyone is so incredibly lovely and helpful. Ahead of our trip, I had some questions and the concierge, Geneviève, was amazing and helpful. From the moment we arrived in Quebec City and at the hotel, we were so warmly welcomed. Our room was a perfect size for two people. As it was winter, we had lot more clothes and boots etc to deal with and we each had plenty of space to be comfortable. The decor of the room was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was one of the best for amenities that I have experienced. I say this for many reasons, but three items that really stood out: the dental floss dispenser (dental health is important), the section of the mirror that never fogged up and the ability to turn the exhaust fan on and off ourselves…and I guess a 4th item, the TV you could watch from anywhere in the bathroom. I always hate when I’m at hotels and there is no ability to control the exhaust fan, so the bathrooms just get so steamed up (or other things). But here we could turn it on and it actually worked, just like being at home. Thank you! And the other thoughtful item, which may be at other hotels in the city during the winter, was the tray outside the rooms with stones that you could leave your winter boots on so that you didn’t have to track snow etc into your room. Well done! The location of the hotel is great, right near the river and Quartier Petit Champlain. But you are in lower Quebec, so there are some real hills or stairs you must navigate to get up to upper part of the city. But it is all worth it and great exercise to combat all the delicious food and drink you will have at the hotel or around town. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else for my future trips to Quebec City. Thank you!

An absolutely perfect stay, 11/10. We booked a long weekend stay via Amex travel Fine Hotels & Resorts and were given an upgrade upon arrival (to a gorgeous suite with terrace!), $100 in food and beverage credit in addition to included breakfast, and some treats upon arrival. The hotel itself is gorgeous -- very boutique feel, just the right size. The hallways are airy and I loved the hotel's signature scent. Our room was divine. The location is prime, winding cobble stone streets and a few blocks from the heart of Petit Champlain and up the hill to the Frontenac. Staff were all friendly and responsive. The food and beverage at the Auberge is standout. Chez Muffy provided the most memorable and creative hotel breakfast we've ever had. Continental buffet and hot brunch dishes were included along with tea, coffee and a small smoothie. Bar Artefact has a fabulous cocktail list and we found ourselves there every night before dinner. We were at the Chateau Frontenac for drinks one night at their mixologist agreed that the Auberge Saint-Antoine is the best hotel in town ;) Couldn't recommend it more highly!

Excellent staff, comfy beds, lovely views, interesting hotel history & easy to communicate even if you don’t know French. Food in the bar is very good & service was good. The concierge was very helpful in suggesting places to eat & getting reservations. Valet staff were very attentive & so polite. Front desk was pleasant & kind. Maid service attention to detail was high end. Would stay again.

I really think a 5 star does not fully express the full experience at Auberge St Antoine. Staying here has been a happy accident for us, when we suddenly found ourselves in need of last-minute accommodation (due to an unexpected situation with our other lodging). We were traveling with our two senior dogs, so we really feared that we wouldn't be able to find an alternative. The warmth and understanding of the staff at the Auberge couldn't be more touching! One of our dogs is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, so their kindness and acceptance means the world to us. Our old girl particularly appreciated the heated bathroom flooring, which kept her bedding nice and toasty. The concierge and valet have been particularly helpful - perhaps they read the anguish and lost sleep on our faces. 😄 Although this was an unplanned stay, we couldn't be happier with our accommodation and the overall experience we've had at the Auberge. It is a very special place, with great care taken to attend to every little detail. The location is perfect for visitors to Québec City and t would be a perfect hotel for visitors that have an interest in the history and culture of Québec. The hotel would be a lovely setting for visitors of all types, including those of us who travel with furry family members. Just steps from the historic center of the first French settlement. Place Royale and next door to the Museum of Civilization, it couldn't be in a better location! For families with young children, don't miss a visit to this museum - the interactive exhibits for children are fun and inspiring. Although this is our first stay at the Auberge, we have dined at Chez Muffy during previous visits to the area and it is an experience not to be missed. Although we particularly enjoy going for dinner, the breakfast menu is also quite special. The wine and drinks offerings are also varied and extensive. Auberge St Antoine is a testament to the heartfelt warmth and genuine spirit of Québec City and the people of the Province. We have been visitors to the city and various parts of the Province for close to thirty years and I regret to say that this was our first time staying at Auberge St Antoine. It certainly won't be our last and we will recommend it to everyone we know, without hesitation! If you're considering a visit to Québec City and want to make it a memorable experience, look no further than a stay at Auberge St Antoine! We cannot thank them enough for helping us in our hour of need and also, for providing us with a special experience during our anniversary weekend. Merci millefois á tous!

We thoroughly enjoyed a 4-night visit to Auberge Saint-Antoine. Very helpful and friendly staff, gorgeous decor, immaculate and luxurious rooms made us feel very special and welcome. The heated floors in the bathroom must be experienced! The best part is the restaurant Panache. They served some of the best French food we've had and the interior is beautiful and romantic. Don't miss a Swedish massage if you can! Also, we're now hooked on the espressos made in our own room! We will be back!
