Millbrook Resort

I took my partner here for a mystery weekend as a surprise birthday present. We loved our deluxe suite. Very spacious and had incredible views. The first night we dined at Kobe's Japanese restaurant. The meal and service were outstanding. We had coffees and a lunch at the Hole in One which was also excellent. So lovely to sit outside and enjoy the views. Had a great walk around the golf courses and was surprised how big the resort actually is. We loved our times at Millbrook and will definitely be back.

First hotel that I stayed around the world do not provide nespresso machine in the room and still uses 1970s instant coffee powder. No weight Scale and staff are not as professional

Amazing experience at the Millbrook. We went as a couple to celebrate our Anniversary and the staff went above and beyond. Rooms were immaculate with thoughtful touches. The golf course is stunning and we had a very fun time. We really enjoyed the food - Breakfast at the clubhouse is phenomenal. Make sure to try the croissants. Dinner at The Millhouse and Kobe was also delicious. The Spa is beautiful and the therapists are very professional and skilled. The staff we encountered were all very helpful and friendly. Before our recent six-night stay in a two bedroom villa at Millbrook Resort, the last time we stayed there was in September 1999 ... for our honeymoon. Ever since ... for 27 years ... we used 'Millbrook' as our pinnacle standard of accommodation. It took us too long to get back to Millbrook, but we won't be leaving it so long to return from now on. We were very impressed. The place is even more beautiful now than it was in '99. In short, Millbrook Resort is absolutely gorgeous. Without a hint of exaggeration, there is barely a blade of grass out of place. From the beautifully kept grounds; the amazing view of snowcapped mountains; to the warm, cosy, stylish, spacious (and daily serviced) Villa, it is absolutely beautiful, and now ... my 'happy place'. It is a short trip (couple of km maybe?) into the quaint village of Arrowtown, and about 30 mins to Queenstown (depending on traffic) - Millbrook offers a shuttle service by arrangement to both Arrowtown and Millbrook as a complimentary service. My only negative was that on one occasion the shuttle that was to pick us up from Queenstown at 5.30pm was an hour late and we were left standing on the footpath waiting in freezing weather ... but other than that little hiccup, we couldn't fault Millbrook and look forward to returning again in the near future.
