Large rooms, top notch facilities, friendly staff

Set in over 300 acres of land, this golf, wellness and luxury cottage resort is the epitome of luxury in Queenstown, NZ. Porters immediately take care of our luggage, with the check in process super quick and breezy. We are travelling with BMW for their snow drive and we end up into separate room due to a miscommunication with the organizer. A buggy with our luggage brought us to our cottage and we enter our separate rooms. My wife’s cottage was wheel chair accessible, with features in toilet, and shower and wide maneuverable areas in the room. Layout is fairly similar. A separate, unheated toilet room at the room entry way. There’s also a line of coats pegs here. Once in the room, there’s a spacious seating area with two arm chairs looking out into the greenery outside. A flat screen TV on the wall invites you to chrome cast your phone to the Tv. The bed is large and super comfortable. There is a wall mounted heater with a digital readout, so that you can make your room as comfortable as possible. The shower/sink/bath tub area have under floor heating which is a God-Send on cold wintery days. There’s also a wall heater to warm up your clothes/ bath towels. There are limited amenities next to the tissue box - shower cap and amenity kit amongst them. In the walk-in wardrobe in between the toilet and the room, you’ll find a wide carpeted table space for you and your partner’s luggage. Plenty of hangers here, plus kits for shoe mitt and sewing. There’s also bathrobes on the cubby hole. Hotel has laundry service. Food options are plentiful at the resort. We tried Kobe, Mill house, and the cafe (for breakfast). Kobe is their Japanese restaurant, helmed by a Japanese chef, the food was pretty good. From the light and fluffy tempura, to the tuna tacos, both of these were very enjoyable. The lamb was delicious, but had 4-5 pieces only. We had our culmination dinner at the Mill house restaurant, a Michelin-Reviewed restaurant. Food was pretty good, even though we had the fixed-menu. The cafe offered pretty decent breakfast with good choices for healthy food or full breakfast. Coffee was ok, though did not meet some others’ standards. It did the job. I used the gym. And it’s pretty large, spacious and there tons of equipment to be used. It’s a serious gym for serious gym goers. Different weights machines, lifting stations, TRX, kettle bells, free weights, plus rowing, Elliptical, treadmill etc are available. There’s also a 20-25m pool - heated, of course! Note that everything is a walk away, depending on where you stay. You can call the buggy to pick you up and take you wherever on the property. Rug up if you’re afraid of the cold as the buggies can be zippy. A really nice stay here. The staff are friendly and willing to help. Rooms are great and the facilities are top notch. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay and fantastic service by all the staff

I took my partner here for a mystery weekend as a surprise birthday present. We loved our deluxe suite. Very spacious and had incredible views. The first night we dined at Kobe's Japanese restaurant. The meal and service were outstanding. We had coffees and a lunch at the Hole in One which was also excellent. So lovely to sit outside and enjoy the views. Had a great walk around the golf courses and was surprised how big the resort actually is. We loved our times at Millbrook and will definitely be back.

First hotel that I stayed around the world do not provide nespresso machine in the room and still uses 1970s instant coffee powder. No weight Scale and staff are not as professional

Amazing experience at the Millbrook. We went as a couple to celebrate our Anniversary and the staff went above and beyond. Rooms were immaculate with thoughtful touches. The golf course is stunning and we had a very fun time. We really enjoyed the food - Breakfast at the clubhouse is phenomenal. Make sure to try the croissants. Dinner at The Millhouse and Kobe was also delicious. The Spa is beautiful and the therapists are very professional and skilled. The staff we encountered were all very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Nico, Dan and Melissa.
