We just spent five days at Hacienda Jurica. This is not our first visit, but the service, the facilities, the staff are the same as usual: great. For the children the swimming pool, horseback riding and amusement park are exactly what will keep entertained for hours on end. Thoroughly enjoy the visit and will certainly be back. There are, at the hotel's convention center parking spots for electric cars!

The price performance is really below expectations. probably one of the worst beds IĀ“ve in all the hotels IĀ“ve been. The service at check in and during my stay at the pool was also very poor. Hotel is nice, but need urgently new beds and showers.

We are staying in this hotel, checked in yesterday, leaving on the 29th, I am travelling alone with my two children and the lady at front desk is charging me two adult breakfast buffets everyday, didn't have the criteria to adjust that extra adult buffet, checked in into to the room and the toilet wasn't flushing properly, the bellboy wouldn't explain any of the hotel services. They gave us a different room, the new room's shower is not draining properly, the tv was not working, at 3 in the morning a smell of gross drainage woke me up. I left an open voucher for extra charges and the mini bar was empty. the Service has been terrible, employees have been ignoring us, the pool is supposed to be climatized, the water was very cold, no service at the pool restaurant. Jannet was very nice and helpful and helped me adjust that extra breakfast buffet. I don't know what to expect the rest of my stay.

I am someone who travels so that I can experience other cultures. I hate staying in sterile towers that could be in LA instead of China. We were lucky that our hosts booked us into this resort, with its beautiful grounds and ancient trees. It even has an aqueduct! We stayed in the wing of the converted barns, with thick adobe walls, overlooking a courtyard of orange trees. In the center of the hotel is a 2 story open atrium, the walls dripping with bougainvillea, that served as the lobby and seating area for the bar. Groups gathered here every night for chatting and relaxing. Our first night, we were too tired to go into town to eat so we had resigned ourselves to a blah hotel meal. Were we wrong! On the weekends, the hotel has all you can eat buffets for breakfast and dinner that are nothing short of fabulous! There were at least 6 entrees, fish, beef, pork, in various delicious sauces, plus a salad bar that included fresh guava, pineapple, cantaloupe, watermelon, cactus, artichoke. The dessert bar was more a traditional cheesecake, petit four, chocolate truffle assortment. The Sunday brunch is not to be missed. It had ( in addition to the typical US omelet bar) fresh corn tortillas pressed and grilled in front of you, filled with lamb or pork. There was someone forming and frying gorditas and empanadas to order. The place was packed with families of exuberant kids, all having the time of their lives. We were really sad during the week when we had to " settle" for ordering off the menu to get sesame encrusted seared tuna steaks. One wall of the restaurant is a floor to ceiling window looking out on the swimming pool. The staff are constantly cleaning, sweeping the blossoms in the atrium, waxing the leather on the antique carriages.Yes, if you stay in a centuries old historic building, it will not have perfectly uniform tile like the Westin. I do not understand the complaints about the physical state of the building! I would go back to Queretaro in a minute. I took Uber by myself as a 62 year old woman speaking no Spanish. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the city is MUCH cleaner than Boston

I am very proud to say that I have traveled to some countries, and it is my pleasure to say that MĆ©xico has the best customer service for tourism! We visited this hacienda for a short weekend. The place is beautiful and you can feel the history of this place. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, pool, but most important, excellent service. Everyone makes sure that you have the best time! Super clean rooms, and great food.
