Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa in Quy Nhon, Vietnam

Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa is a restful, exotic alternative to Southeast Asia’s beach scene. Nestled among age-old fishing villages, there’s ample opportunity for cultural exploration. Fish with a local in the nearby freshwater lake after a hike through dense vegetation inhabited by flying squirrels and monkeys, or soak up the area’s fascinating history through visits to Cham temples and pagodas. Rooms are warmly appointed, with intricate ironwork and exposed brick accents complementing sea views.

Rent a bicycle and pedal leisurely to a neighboring village. Stroll through the bustling marketplace. Make friends with a resident fruit vendor and try something you’ve never seen before – maybe it’s a sweet, protein-rich longan, which used to be given as a tribute to the king. Indulge in a massage in an open-air pavilion back at the hotel. Fall asleep to the sound of waves hitting the shore.

Really wonderful staff. I stayed in a nearby hotel and just wanted to use the spa, which was closed for renovation, but the staff made my visit very comfortable. Gorgeous beach and deluxe hotel, restaurant, bar, pool. I’ll book here next visit

The hotel is a unique little gem in an off the tourist track town which makes this a really desirable place. The town is very charming with a beautiful waterfront and cafes. The hotel is 20 minutes by taxi and about $12. There is a shuttle for about $3. The hotel sits on a beautiful beach. The dining room is good and reasonably priced. Spa, pool, small gym, bar, pool table. Rooms look like pictures and are maintained well and clean. Favorite part is the staff, they look out for you and help with everything. Wish we can come back when it is not raining!

Aloha, we spent 3 nights during rainy season beginning of December. It rained a lot. Despite that we had a fantastic stay. The resort is about 20 minutes to downtown center and taxis are very easy and they have a shuttle service available in the afternoons. The resort sits next to a fishing village which is worth a stroll through and you can get basic amenities as there are many small stores and some food restaurants...small family owned. We ate a late lunch early dinner at the resort 3 nights and the menu has Vietnamese, Western, and Japanese. One night we had It in our room and It was lovely. Food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable. The rooms are actually just as the pictures, it was perfect for 2 of us. I used the small gym and the equipment was all working. There is a spa we did not take advantage of but the spa manager is excellent and has yoga in the morning too. The staff is overwhelmingly nice and friendly and helped us with everything. The location and scenery is amazing, we wish we were there after rainy season to take advantage of swimming, bikes. We loved our stay and would go back. It is an excellent spot for couples.

The room was very clean, everything was nice and fresh, especially the shampoo kit. The atmosphere were pure, quiet and peaceful. My little son had good deep sleep during his stay. The food there were good too, especially "ca bop kho to" dish. The breakfast buffet were diversified, tasty and healthy.

Right from ths begining it was aparent that this would be a good stay. The staff were very friendly and greeted us warmly upon arrival. The room was a nice size, well decorated, very clean and had a great view of the ocean. Breakfast had everything you could ask for and the hot food was prepared to order. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpfull, they had great suggestions for sightseeing and were totally engaging. All this and the beach was beautiful (and clean). Can't wait to go back.
