Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa in Quy Nhon, Vietnam

Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa is a restful, exotic alternative to Southeast Asia’s beach scene. Nestled among age-old fishing villages, there’s ample opportunity for cultural exploration. Fish with a local in the nearby freshwater lake after a hike through dense vegetation inhabited by flying squirrels and monkeys, or soak up the area’s fascinating history through visits to Cham temples and pagodas. Rooms are warmly appointed, with intricate ironwork and exposed brick accents complementing sea views.

Rent a bicycle and pedal leisurely to a neighboring village. Stroll through the bustling marketplace. Make friends with a resident fruit vendor and try something you’ve never seen before – maybe it’s a sweet, protein-rich longan, which used to be given as a tribute to the king. Indulge in a massage in an open-air pavilion back at the hotel. Fall asleep to the sound of waves hitting the shore.

Unfortunately the sea ( & the beach) was very dirty during our stay. Probably caused from the Taifun but i fear it is more the reason that fisherman not take care the environment. If you want have authentic feeling about the fishermans life just visit the village next to the resort. On both sides of the resort new facitilties are or are going to be built. Anyway if you want enjoy a really great seaview and you are lucky to have good weather just go there...

Good place with great staff and amenities. Room was spacious, quiet and clean with excellent view. Pool was great. Restaurant was very good value and quality with a great variety of vietnamese and western dishes. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We traveled with a 2 year old and everything was very easy.

I stay at this resort all the time. This is a top notch resort, restful, peaceful, tranquil, and warm! The staff are remarkable. They are friendly, genuine and most helpful. Many seem like family as I have stayed here multiple times over several years. I highly recommend it!

We were in Quy Nohn for a medical mission, staying at one of the bigger hotels downtown. We had no intention of moving hotels, but after coming here for dinner one night, we just had to stay. The pictures speak for themselves. The rooms and view are as nice as they appear online and the finishes are outstanding. The food and cocktails from the restaurant are delicious. We enjoyed the grilled sea bass with passionfruit sauce and the Byzantine and pina colada the most. The place really just looks and feels like an $800/night spa resort and the service is the most outstanding part. A few examples: 1) Check-in starts with warm ginger tea and a complimentary neck massage. 2) Many of the workers went out of their way to strike up conversations with us about our work and to thank us for coming to the area. The manager came out to offer us a discount on food and beverage as a thank-you. 3) The front desk was very helpful in giving us an itinerary for things to do and see in our off time. They were genuinely interested in us enjoying ourselves. 4) We had to leave early on the last day and missed the (excellent) buffet breakfast, so they made us take-away breakfast bags. Also, we paid for airport transfer to Phu Cat in their van which was not only roomy and clean, but had wifi. We are going to come back to the city for work and will definitely be staying here again. I'd like to come during the peak season for a R&R vacation sometime, even.

This hotel is very well keep with next mountain with tropical forest and i do enjoy walking at the aisle to the room with trees view. And all the rooms have stunning beach view. Sadly we stayed for only a night for our beloved resort. I would like to give them 5* but the facilities need upgraded and also the service.
