Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa in Quy Nhon, Vietnam
Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa is a restful, exotic alternative to Southeast Asia’s beach scene. Nestled among age-old fishing villages, there’s ample opportunity for cultural exploration. Fish with a local in the nearby freshwater lake after a hike through dense vegetation inhabited by flying squirrels and monkeys, or soak up the area’s fascinating history through visits to Cham temples and pagodas. Rooms are warmly appointed, with intricate ironwork and exposed brick accents complementing sea views.
Rent a bicycle and pedal leisurely to a neighboring village. Stroll through the bustling marketplace. Make friends with a resident fruit vendor and try something you’ve never seen before – maybe it’s a sweet, protein-rich longan, which used to be given as a tribute to the king. Indulge in a massage in an open-air pavilion back at the hotel. Fall asleep to the sound of waves hitting the shore.

Reviews for Avani Quy Nhon Resort & Spa
It was a great 5 night stay at Avani booked through luxury escape. Great value for money, friendly and helpful staff. Very relaxing and delicious food. Staff were very helpful in organising us a scooter

Spent 4 nights here with my daughter, all rooms have sea view, we had 90 minute massage each which they upgraded to 2 x 60 minute massages for us, massage therapists are friendly, professional and great at there job. I love the pho soup for breakfast, western options also available in buffet. The little bay in which the hotel sits is the most beautiful I have stayed in Asia. We also visited the fishing village opposite as well as the superb "big tree" bar, restaurant and hostel (see separate review) . We took a suntaxi taxi from Quy Nhon airport (locally known as Phu Cat) to the avani Quy Nhon resort and spa, we asked for price at airport , told 300,000vnd, but the meter reading was 515,000vnd, when we arrived. So don't believe the taxi salesman at the airport. Taxi ride was 50 mins. It was very hot 12 noon to 3pm, sea and pool temperature like a bath, I loved it. Sunrise at 5:30, I swam in sea before breakfast every morning. The locals swim the first two hours after sunrise and last two hours before sunset, very sensible. Sunset 6:30pm. The staff English is good, it's nice just to talk with them, they seem to like it too. You will feel blessed if you spend some time here , I did not want to leave. I will return one day. The bay is for everyone, locals and foreigners , young and old , relaxing or working it is a happy place. The beach area in front of hotel is kept as private for hotel guests. We flew here with Vietjet from Saigon, only because jetstar changed our flight time. Vietjet is good value and departed on time. Happy hour at hotel bar 5-7pm "buy on get one free" , selected cocktails only, choice of 4, I had the maithai, superb . Gym location is good but equipment a bit old, I would like to see a concept 2 rowing machine here , but this is my only suggestion for improvement. The original Avani spa spa building is being refurbished after the typhoon earlier in the year, but this should not put you off using the Spa.
After a busy week in hcmc, 7of us flewup to Quy Nhon and had a wonderful time What a perfect serene location with an emphasis on wellness. Spa facilities were great Views are unbelievable the staff is attentive and really cares about your stay The view from my shower was beautiful to say the least very nice location 1/2 from airport 20 mins from great town but food in the hotel was excellent

Overall the hotel is good, You need to have a gym in your facility. Staffs at bar need to speak English better. need more foods at the restaurant so the customers have more options to pick. overall the trip was good
After staying one night on the other side of the bay at Haven Guest House, we opted to spend our next two nights at Avani Quay Nhon. The room was clean and spacious, and the shower was that tall man’s rarity - big enough for someone 6ft 4. Nice touch with the Bluetooth speaker, but the coffee machine only had two capsules available which struck me as a bit mingey. Great views, cleanest part of the beach, nice pool, friendly and helpful staff. The place is a wee bit worn around the edges though. Service at dinner was a bit slow but the food was really good. Nice menu with a good selection. Overall an above average experience but the management team need to check out the big successful resorts and do what they do so well.
