The service level was exceptional, a testament to the hospitality of Rajasthan people/ culture. The property itself was understated and probably a true reflection of how these palaces looked a hundred years ago. So while the villas were not ornate, the grounds were rich and alive with peacocks, parrots and lush green plants and flowers which really made the place magical. Overall it was one of the best hotel experiences for our trip.

We returned to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and this time with our kids. We have had the pleasure and good fortune to stay at some outstanding hotels around the world. It starts with the people - literally every single person, from the staff at the front desk, to those helping us in our villa, and our waitpersons and the chefs at the Raj Mahal and Surya Mahal restaurants, everyone was the consummate professional, dedicated to creating an amazing customer experience. It was evident that they enjoyed their work and that is the best compliment to the leadership team. The entire atmosphere at the Rajvilas is also amazing - from the rooms to the overall design and architecture. And the free roaming peacocks are a beautiful bonus.
